@@tommyettinger1353 great he had a few decent playoff runs whilst sitting on the backs of crosby fleury and malkin. and we're talking about the present, not the past. not to mention couture is 2nd in playoff points since 2016 and lead the playoffs in scoring 2016 and is currently leading 2019 playoffs in goals by a lot. guentzel was never even considered for conn smythe but if the sharks go all the way couture's a lock for it.

This is how the hockey gods work. The "penalty" which resulted in the Blues power play in this clip was due to a Sharks player getting hit by a Blues player (not cheap, just to be clear, but interference the other way around). So, the hockey gods smiled upon the Sharks and said, "Here's a couple. Now go do the rest of the work." Unfortunately, the Sharks were not as sharp as usual and couldn't pull it out.
