    • @kikiretzorg1467
      @kikiretzorg1467 3 года назад +41

      Spelling aside, it's actually _completely proper Italian grammar._ The Italian word is "maccherone" in singular and "maccheroni" in plural, so "how much macaroni" would be like saying "how much grains of sand" and "how many macaronis" would just be further bastardizing the word by pluralizing it twice.

      I'm guessing the reasoning for determining how much the person ate is to somehow suggest they were under the influence of something and therefore not reliable. That's why the lawyer keeps pushing for an answer that would lead to a small portion (TV Dinner). (Less in the stomach = faster absorption of potential substances leading to a higher spike in dosage. It's the reason why you're supposed to eat something before drinking so you don't feel drunk as quickly).

    I highly doubt it but I have to ask: Did that 3-500 officer assault really happen? That would be amazingly absurd. The entire concept of law enforcement was so put upon by macaroni that they rebelled.

    The macaroni one is actually a real police interrogation tactic, you ask many questions that branch off into tangents, and then loop back and ask them the same questions as before to see if their answers change and if they can hold their story together, if they actually experienced it, the answers typically wont change, but if they are lying its very hard to keep a story together in non chronological, quick succession questions that loop back on themselves, even for experienced liars

    In my opinion, your first two collections were the best. This may in part be true to the subjects of each case, but having them be arranged so fluently with brief separation let each hilarious case be appreciated. In the combined story, they lost their meaning, and even with titles, the short pieces feel less valuable.
    Whatever it is produced as, these are all rather funny and improved in this format. Considering the spinoffs and other texts, I'm wondering what you'll do next!
    P.S. The macaroni questioning was a pro move, but just came out weird. The death penalty confusion by comparison was a mental train wreck!
