I agree, Fumina could use more love. Apparently she's thought to be the best dancer of the old myu Moons, though I'm not sure I'd agree. I think part of why she gets hated is cause of Shin Densetsu Kourin. That myu is pretty awful IMO. If her first myu had been one of the Kaguya myus instead, I think the response to her would've been way better. Also thank you for bringing up Marina's vocal range. When I first heard her sing villain songs in fankans I was like "Whoa. This can not be our super genki, high-pitched Marina." I feel like both her and Anza improved dramatically over their runs. Marina's improvement is a little more obvious because she was so young when she started. She also said in an interview after Marinamoon Final that over time she started to become more like Usagi in her everyday life too, so that probably has something to do with it. I feel by later myus like Shin Kaguya her voice matured a ton too. Her English is also really flawless (though Yuu's was even better than hers). When I saw your number one Mercury was Hisano I was surprised. Personally I don't care for her that much but maybe that's just me. Chieco is my fave. Also regarding Chieco seeming immature, she was only 13 when she started in the myus. Plus I think they generally cast pretty young for Mercury. Mars I don't have a fave as of yet though I do like Misako. When you did Jupiter I was afraid you would do that Jupiter actress from Black Lady. I forget her name. I don't like her though...her voice is way too high for Jupiter. Thankfully I didn't see her on the list. I cheered when I saw your favorite Venus was Ayumi. I love her too. Mercury may be my favorite Senshi, but "Traditional The Grace" is my favorite myu Inner Senshi theme.
Yes Fumina does deserve more love! When I first got into Myu I was quite surprised to see she was considered the least popular Moon. I'm not sure why she'd be considered the best dancer, I'd put her at the bottom and Marina at the top as the best. Haha I guess Hisano is an unusual favourite to have. At first I was actually put off from having her as my favourite and instead would say Chieko because nobody else seemed to really acknowledge Hisano, but the more I thought about it she was definitely my favourite Ami. Maybe they did cast pretty young for Mercury, especially in Miyuki's run with both Mariya being 12 and Chieko being 13. Oh, Ayano Sugimoto? Yeah, no way she's on the list XD as MyuToni and I always say she would have been a good Mimete if she were in Mugen rather than Black Lady. Hahaha yay Ayumi love!! Also Traditional the Grace love, that's my favourite image song in all of Myu (though you'd think it'd be Harsh Saint Cry since my favourite is Neptune).
I don't think I could even narrow it down to top 5 (i had a hard enough time doing a top 3) especially with actual thought out reasons. I do have a top five for moons though (I exclude Hotaru because I haven't seen Le Mouvement Final yet and don't want to judge her solely on Amour Eternall). I definitely agree with you about Fumina's voice. I do think she has the prettiest sounding voice out of all the moons, but that's pretty much the only thing I like about her. I thought her lack of dancing skills really brought down the rest of the cast. Although I like her voice, I don't think she's a very powerful singer. She is very elegant though, which I did like.
Yeah it was kinda difficult to think out the top 5, but I managed it in the end XD Fumina did have a really nice voice, so did all the old Myu Moons IMO (even Miyuki while lots of people think she wasn't very good at singing). To me Fumina's voice was nice sounding, she just didn't really have much skill or range (for example in Shadow On My Sweet Memories and La Soldier she seemed to struggle to hit the higher notes). She was a very elegant Moon, which I really like about her
