I found your channel via the Fantasian review. I think you and I are some of the only channels that gave full reviews of the game! A lot of what you talk about here resonates with me because I'm also playing a lot of these classic games for the first time. Nice to find another southerner covering JRPGs on the platform. Keep up the good work! P.S. I highly recommend the FF Pixel Remasters if you haven't already tried them.
Thanks, man! It bugs me to no end when reviewers don't even play half of a game they review, let alone finish it. I hope to check out the Pixel Remasters someday, if they get console releases.
The thing i like the most about this game's combat is that every party(well maybe not kimahri) is worth using, usually with jrpgs that have more then 3 or 4 party members you'll have members who are either useless or only sometimes helpful
FFX is definitely my favorite. While I understand the critique I ofc simply disagree. It's a game that I always come back to. It's a story I carry with me. I remember how it made/makes/will make me feel.
Forgettable?! That's certainly not the word anyone else that's played the game would describe the story. You can say many things about the story of FFX but being **memorable** is perhaps it's biggest Strength.
Funny that you mention Kimari as the lame duck but at least he got into the review. Rikku was effectively "Miss-not-appearing-in-the-character-breakdown". She has her niche against mechanical enemies that die instantly when she uses Steal but yeah those two never got a chance against the rest of the cast.
It's a pure weeb trash Bing Bing wahoo, the best part about the game was throwing it in the trash after I played up to the last boss just to make absolutely sure the story never starts and the script is absolutely terrible. If it wasn't a final fantasy and didn't have Bing Bing wahoo, it wouldn't even be known as anything today. It's a testament to the degeneration of modern Japan how hyped it was

@unwaifu69 Hey, thanks for watching. Nice to meet you too. Still haven't played the Pixel Remasters, but I'll get around to it

2d cardboard characters with frosted hair and superficial dialog, pure garbage. Nothing good about this.
