Being a ex pro halo player, and a 11kd mw3 warzone player with a 80 percent accuracy and over 5kd on all weapons it take time to understand what gunfights to take, where to aim or if to shoot or avoid the gun fight. From halo swat being good at crosshair placement was key along with placing yourself in areas where you would be getting a higher chance of landing crits being high ground or corners of lanes or walls. Headglitchs you lose aim assist. Anyways learning crosshair and placement and playing bots without aim assist helps
Sorry to be that guy but there is absolutely no chance you have 80% accuracy, the best cod pros in cdl or Warzone are not even close to that. Even if you had 1 ping and had soft aim bot you couldn’t maintain that accuracy due to the servers, never mind playing top 250 lobbys where people are elite at breaking cameras

If you forget basic things like putting armor on I don’t even know what to tell you, you’re not even playing the same game as everyone else at that point.
What i have noticed some years ago..... For me active aim on controller there u have little to no musslememory means u have to aim active, means Not just aim and simple shoot U need to track enemy movement recoil etc With strong aim assist, ppl just aim and shoot And are Not active thinking about there aim, thats passive aim for me Cuz most ppl in br games are overwelmed with all the inputs they literaly forget to "aim" activly
If you're playing COD on PS5, try gyro and flick stick. It takes time to learn, like learning controller normally again, but your aim will 100% be better once you learn it, and honestly, it makes the game more fun.
When I was a beast Sniper on BO2 I used to call it centering, And I'm awesome at using cover to blindspot me from other areas pro actively while I'm shooting at someone else I had great spacial awareness on the BO2 maps
4:48 WOW this is so hard for me! This drill really woke me up to how bad my aim control is. I can barely keep the dot in the window. And when I rotate to the other direction I for some reason can’t help but jerk my thumb and the dot jumps outside the window. I’ve noticed how subtle the stick input needs to be but for the life of me I can’t be gentle enough. My thumb just goes crazy. I guess I’m just a spaz of a person. I’m one of those people who can’t control themselves. Like when I peak a corner in game, I’ll actually move my body irl. Or if I get shot in the back I’ll actually jump irl lol. These uncontrollable reactions make the game very hard for me. I see pros and streamers playing and are just as calm as a sleeping kitten. It’s a long shot, but does anyone have any tips on how I can control my reactions?
I came from apex, top 700 ony character. Some of the skills carry over like centering and recoil control (especially at range), flicking etc. but im just a bot without the game sense ive been having to learn
I don't know what aim assist other people got but my aim assist don't stick like f****** magnets bro. and why they made it, if you strife back and forth your aim assist is stronger, you're not more accurate when you're moving. you're more accurate when you're standing still. that makes zero sense. but CoD makes it where you're more accurate when you're strafing back and forth. 💀
I fixed my aim by moving my chair to be centered with my monitor and not at an angle lmao. Wasn’t even a crazy angle but it made hella difference for some reason. Also I noticed If I’m losing a few games in a row it’s usually because I’m “passive gaming” aka camping. so I correct it by playing a few matches spamming the ole “jump slide jump slide jump slide” and that usually helps to snap my aim. Also I’ve noticed that if I get shot doing this, the game will 7 times out of 10 respawn me in a position to take out the whole team at their respawn point. lol. So camping=bad for aiming…jump sliding=better aiming and respawns.
By far the best cod video on RUclips👍. But the thing is even many CODL Pros are using 6-6 or 7-7 sensitivity, with this man just cannot achieve good passive aim without ADS.
6-6 and 7-7 are not high sensitivities by any means, so you certainly can have good passive aim without ADSing. How do you think the pros do it😂? You just need to get used to gradually moving the stick instead of trying to flick the stick in whatever direction you want to look/turn towards. Instead of just throwing your hands up and saying something is impossible, maybe put some effort in first and see for yourself
@@watuh2054I don’t think u get it and have enough FPS gaming experience to say what u think u r saying. When you move your right stick slow, it’s just not practical in the real-time battlefield. If this drill simply products good progress, imagine that Shroud are already playing with controller. But there’s another theory, the ADS button is actually the brake to ur non-ads speed. Try to understand it😅
@@xxx-gj1fn Lol I’ve been playing on MNK and controller for almost 20 years, started on PS2 and got my first PC in 2012. The type of movement I mentioned most definitely is possible, and if you don’t want to take my word for it just look up Mutex and see for yourself what that kind of controller movement looks like. With enough practice it’s possible to make controller gameplay look identical to MNK, you just need to stop flicking the stick around and learn to make smooth adjustments. Just because you personally can’t do or fathom something doesn’t mean it’s not possible
@@xxx-gj1fn My original reply somehow disappeared but I came back with a video for your little peanut brain; I’ve got almost 20 years of FPS experience on KBM and controller combined so I think I know what I’m talking about. If you don’t think smooth adjustments on controller are possible I don’t think you’ve put any effort into trying to apply it. Here’s a guide you may find useful to improving yourself instead of denying that it’s an actual viable playstyle: ruclips.net/video/WAKFzJ088lo/видео.htmlsi=qbuvDOBSbw1ZoKyp
I used to be a mobile gamers and now i bought a ps5 nearly a month ago. The first game i purchased was COD BO6. I have not played on console or pc before so right now my kd is just 0.86 after playing 65 hours which is too low. I don't use aim assist because i like to use motion sensor. I wanna ask experienced players like you guys that how much time does it take to be a good player in cod. Also my aim sucks in long and close ranges but in close combat I'm good. Any tips? Suggestions?
You’re not getting far without aim assist. Also I use to be a mobile player as well but I got bored of codm. I’m on pc. I started using a controller last year and the beat practice I got was playing a ton of small map mosh pit. Unfortunately the small maps in this game aren’t as good as mw3, so idk maybe try a 10v10 playlist.
On wz4 or bo6 no metter where u aim. Head or legs. U win 1 bullet if u all have headshot. So aiming legs u almost aiming correctly) its so disappointing. I think ttk must be on 1200 ms for body and about 600-700 on a head. Now its about 70 ms difference. Its nothing if we remember servers is sucks
Hey great video as always. May I ask where you put your slide and jump? Battle Beaver is exactly what I need. I have had a lot of trouble with backpaddles/backpaddles on many controllers, because the position of the backbuttons dont suit my hands. In fact, I noticed that I have way more control if I only use L1/R1 to aim and shoot, without having my middle fingers on L2/R2. But right as of now, I am using L2/R2 to jump/slide and it is ruining my gameplay. Basically, having all my 4 fingers on the bumpers is making me play bad. I need to put slide/jump on the backpaddles. Is that what you did too? I played so good back in Black ops 1/2 and now due to all these Fortnite/COD games I changed my style :/
Does he talk about not “fighting” aim assist with the right stick? As in use the left stick more when strafing instead of correcting your shot with right stick? Any drills for that
Thoughts for handling aim reassist? Almost every engagement my crosshair is being manipulated off the enemy target...sometimes all the way to the right or left of my tv
I’ve been watching your videos for couple years now and I feel this game is completely different from Warzone 1,2,3 and the gun fights feel like xdifiant and I can’t aim like I could on the other cod’s it just feels off this year but I was hoping this video would help actually help with gunfights and with bots or practices like you used to post on your videos
Bo6 is literally aimbot, MnK player 10+ years, CoD vet from console MW2 MW3 etc. Jump into lobbies of Bo6 with MnK yeah i get kills but when they slide hard to track, used controller for a few matches, 58 elims+, aim assist tracking like crazy, no sweating, just run gun gg. MnK I gotta sweat. Time to swap to controller I guess, thanks activision
Not really sure where all the confusion had first started in the gaming space, mouse and keyboard is a high risk high reward kind of thing. The input is fundamentally better in every single way. Aim assist makes playing controller more manageable. Controller has a lower barrier of entry and takes less time to improve while mouse and keyboard is a steep slope that without a doubt peaks higher than controller ever could. Controller was literally designed for casual gamers, it would make sense you’d feel better on it.
It's weaker this year. They've actually changed it so it's weaker close range and the same as previous games longer range. Regardless me and none of my friends that play struggle to aim (mix of both inputs) due to how fast the ttk is. Hard to blame aim assist tracking when all you have to do is get your aim on someone for 200ms. Tracking doesn't really play a role unless it's a simple left to right or vice versa when someone slides round a corner
@@samb5358 it’s weaker melee range. Doesn’t stop me from no brain killing snipers with a controller 60m+ away with an AR cause aim assist just works. Where with mnk I gotta control the recoil and 5/10 times I die. Same happens when I snipe. Aim assist players just LT RT gg I get flinch if I miss I die. There’s a reason why in the top 30 players on cod 5 are only MnK while 25 are on controller
@@abysm6l yeah controller players all they gotta do is use an smg and slide into people while shooting and it’s a kill. MnK takes a whole lot more effort to actually kill anyone. Also AA loves to snap mid chest so the recoil goes straight to a headshot also. MnK you deal with muzzle flash, flinch, movement, shake and more where controller the aim assist eliminates that. You have less movement on a controller unless using paddles which eliminates some muddyness of moving but the AA is crazy. COD is known to have the strongest aim assist of all shooters. MW3 I thought was bad but I still kept a 2.5* KD but in Bo6 I’m using controller now. No sweat just casual dropping more kills. Gotta get my moneys worth sadly
i will never play FPS games with my thumbs, its so stupid and you have no feeling of acomplishment, you just hold R2 and aim with your MOVING stick..people are so in their comfort zones today that it is sad, "if you cant beat them join them", what a soy boy mentality, where do you controller users even get dopamine from?? sliding and opening boxes? i dont get it really, its like playing FIFA on m&k..
My aim definitely needs work but I think I have more of a hardware issue in terms of monitors with their refresh rate and poor wifi connection causing latency/packet loss
Can you do a video on controller input lag and Xbox vs PlayStation controllers. I recently switch from an elite series 2 to a ps4 scuff I have had but never used since it was uncomfortable. I’m definitely noticing a difference but it’s a tough transition with the scuff paddles being different, controller size and left stick placement.
Im generally decent, but the problem is, not all of us buy the whole game, I'm forced to practice in-game and im warzone modes, I can't really practice drills im private multiplayer
Idk bro,im a kbm main, but when i play on controller,i cant hit a damn thing,on kbm my aim is like really good, but on controller,i dont feel aim assist at all, even when i followed most of the tips,my aim stayed the same,i also tried to turn off aim assist to see if im not tripping, but my aim is legit the exact same without aim assist and with. 1.5 kd player here
You have great tip, I enjoy shooting at boxing different setup before jumping to the game but the problem that I have is not the aim or how to play multiple enemy, I almost always lose at patiences, some campers are just way to paitence than me they would make a trap house and id go in and loose to mine/claymore, or just loady camper overall
Honestly, my centering is pretty on point, but I have the attention span of a goldfish. Everytime I die, I run it back just to realize I wasn't paying attention.
I used to play overwatch on console and thought "i'd love to play it with a mouse it must be so much easier to aim" no i play bo6 on pc and wish that i still have a controller because its so much easier to aim with it 😂😂😂
For me COD has always felt rather weird; like there's no smooth middle, just extremes of stiffness (movement, aim assist) and looseness (turning, aim acceleration). I guess it adds to the looney tunes fortnite chaos they going for but if they smoothed things out the game would be more accessible imo.
I hopped on bo6 and my aim was terrible! It was like i had no aim assist and people were just running past my reticle. I got so pissed i hopped off. Having teammates that camp in spawn the whole game doesnt help either. Its like i get the worst teammates while going against a team of prestige masters with Dark Matter camo and krigs.
Why is every cod creator using gaslighting titles today? “Your aim sucks, heres why”. My aim is great the only issue with this garbage game is that its filled with cheaters.
Ur thinking to deep….buddy every point he made about “passive vs active aim” is 100% active …if u game for 3 hrs straight your not going to have perfect tracking EVERY GUNFIGHT,being hyper focused 100% time is tiring and its not sustainable…thats when “PASSIVE AIM” comes into play ,yeah the game has hackers but that’s been WARZONE FoR THE PAST 3 yrs brother 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
To get better at aiming I'd say turn off the aim assist play without it for a week and don't be scared about pushing people sure you will keep dying but you'll get better by trial and error if you don't have the full game just jump into plunder and turn off squad
350 dollars for a custom controller just cause of "smart" buttons? hell naw...the full xbox elite package with better customisation goes for 230 dollars....
@@awake-not-woke lmfao I do not have a 300 dollar controller I was telling him how the battle beaver is a scam....I am not a controller player I cannot aim for anything I am now learning how to play on an Xbox ONE S controller...I am a mouse player

All of a sudden guys dont miss and are walking me down while cross hairing me though walls. I will miss it, but this game is dead
tbh play aimlabs with controller best thing you can do is practice tracking and swapping targets without aim assist my raw mechanical aim improved a bunch it especially helps in games like older halos which have superior methods of assisting aim (no shitty rotational only crosshair slow down)
It sucks you have to run drills to keep up these days.... To even play smoothly without getting aced every five seconds against the average regular player you need to do more than just play the game...
Once your weapon is upgraded to a higher level and you use the right attachments your aim will improve. It seems like kids now adays dont have patience or willing to fight for something. They want smashed potatos shoved into their mouth without smashing it.

If you forget basic things like putting armor on I don’t even know what to tell you, you’re not even playing the same game as everyone else at that point.
I have to ask. What software do you use to edit your videos? Kind of incredible editing here.
Davinci Resolve
@@dreamstrike Would you be down to edit my videos? Your editing is really solid and would be curious to know what you would charge.
What i have noticed some years ago.....
For me active aim on controller there u have little to no musslememory means u have to aim active, means Not just aim and simple shoot
U need to track enemy movement recoil etc
With strong aim assist, ppl just aim and shoot
And are Not active thinking about there aim, thats passive aim for me
Cuz most ppl in br games are overwelmed with all the inputs they literaly forget to "aim" activly
This is.. an unreal video for ANYONE trying to get better on roller. I have THOUSANDS of hours on COD. This video still helped 🤝🏻
If you're playing COD on PS5, try gyro and flick stick. It takes time to learn, like learning controller normally again, but your aim will 100% be better once you learn it, and honestly, it makes the game more fun.
Always happy when your vids pop up
When I was a beast Sniper on BO2 I used to call it centering, And I'm awesome at using cover to blindspot me from other areas pro actively while I'm shooting at someone else
I had great spacial awareness on the BO2 maps
Brooo this legit bro changed my life and its so simple
Some of the skills carry over like centering and recoil control (especially at range), flicking etc. but im just a bot without the game sense ive been having to learn
hello dreamstrike your tutorials made me better at the game in w1 2 and 3 thanks for the tips❤
I play really low sensitivity to be the most productive. They always say smooth is fast 💨
My problem is I always die from them together or from behind
I love your videos I find them incredibly helpful
Running drills in a video game is wild
Interesting training tips! I'll try em out 👌🏻😬 thanks!
I just ordered a (claw) custom battle beaver PS4 with all smart face buttons, stick clicks, and decreased tension sticks.
Literally having a Battle beaver Is GoD Tier For Gaming !
Here’s a guide you may find useful to improving yourself instead of denying that it’s an actual viable playstyle:

You can 100% have good passive aim on 6-6
I used to be a mobile gamers and now i bought a ps5 nearly a month ago.
You’re on console turn on aa 💀
motion sensor??? what
@@puffyips gyroscope aka motion sensor.
Dreamstrike Let's gooooooo
I don’t have all the aim-assist type in bo6!
Getting better aim and more aim assist in the same sentence is wild
Dreamstrike Dropped a video
Great video bro 💪
This video might help people stop calling normal players cheaters. Good vid!
Any drills for that
Watching this video knowing im just blessed mechanically with aim and movement but i still wanna get a better understanding 😅
Thoughts for handling aim reassist? Almost every engagement my crosshair is being manipulated off the enemy target...sometimes all the way to the right or left of my tv
Your videos are truly elite.
Yoooo! Love these videos🤘
I was curious does controller matters in better aim assist?
Dream! what cable do you use?
Can you do a video on controller input lag and Xbox vs PlayStation controllers. I recently switch from an elite series 2 to a ps4 scuff I have had but never used since it was uncomfortable. I’m definitely noticing a difference but it’s a tough transition with the scuff paddles being different, controller size and left stick placement.
Im generally decent, but the problem is, not all of us buy the whole game, I'm forced to practice in-game and im warzone modes, I can't really practice drills im private multiplayer
I lost brain cells after reading this
Straight up majority of players have zero clue about these concepts, you straight up just ‘spiked’ the skill base of the entire game.
1.5 kd player here
I was literally watching your aim tutorial that came out a year ago just yesterday what are the chances that you made? A new one today?
my problem was ego challing every gunfight
You have great tip, I enjoy shooting at boxing different setup before jumping to the game but the problem that I have is not the aim or how to play multiple enemy, I almost always lose at patiences, some campers are just way to paitence than me they would make a trap house and id go in and loose to mine/claymore, or just loady camper overall
Your not partnered with battle beaver but have a discount code for them? Is this a paid promotion or not?
Honestly, my centering is pretty on point, but I have the attention span of a goldfish. Everytime I die, I run it back just to realize I wasn't paying attention.
do you use kontrolfreeks?
Hey dreamstrike do u grip your controller lightly to make micro adjustments
Understandable! Throw in the fact that you might be the last man standing. Everyone watching! Victory on the line! 😅
Man I use to be really good with aiming in cod. After b06 I just can't get on target
Tracking feels clunky in this cod idk why
I’m looking to improve my aim in zombies
I used to play overwatch on console and thought "i'd love to play it with a mouse it must be so much easier to aim"
no i play bo6 on pc and wish that i still have a controller because its so much easier to aim with it 😂😂😂
I don't know if anybody else caught that but you made a mistake in your vid, it was on purpose but you said the c9 when you're using the PP 919 lol
Once I learned rotational aim assist and how to some what use it.
Did they nerf aim assist after bo6 integration ?
Yes!
It feels like it
It was nerfed under ~5 meters, otherwise it is the exact same
@@Adam-pk7go Yup only nerfed melee distance otherwise just run straight at someone slide and hold RT = kill
@@Adam-pk7go Rotational aim assist doesn’t track as far as it use to
Why is every cod creator using gaslighting titles today? “Your aim sucks, heres why”. My aim is great the only issue with this garbage game is that its filled with cheaters.
Why are you so soft?
It draws in people looking for help, people who are just curious, and people like you who get rage baited into watching
How can your aim be great if you have aim assistance? Like old people have living assistance because they can’t live on their own.
He wasn't talking to you specifically bro
To get better at aiming I'd say turn off the aim assist play without it for a week and don't be scared about pushing people sure you will keep dying but you'll get better by trial and error if you don't have the full game just jump into plunder and turn off squad
350 dollars for a custom controller just cause of "smart" buttons? hell naw...the full xbox elite package with better customisation goes for 230 dollars....
A regular controller is like $60 to kill you with your $200-300 controller 🤷
@@awake-not-woke lmfao I do not have a 300 dollar controller I was telling him how the battle beaver is a scam....I am not a controller player I cannot aim for anything I am now learning how to play on an Xbox ONE S controller...I am a mouse player
Mnk or controller on bo6?
Controller
idk why but my aim assist feels like NO aim assist
how can people play these types of games with a controller? blows my mind.
I like you and habe been here from damn near the beginning. This is not ok. I ha e been a 2.5-3 kd guy my whole life. Use to game battle and conpete in multiple games. Been in top 1k in many. All of a sudden guys dont miss and are walking me down while cross hairing me though walls. I will miss it, but this game is dead
Can I get you jackal pdw class plz
Map Knowledge is a key for good aiming too
tbh play aimlabs with controller best thing you can do is practice tracking and swapping targets without aim assist my raw mechanical aim improved a bunch it especially helps in games like older halos which have superior methods of assisting aim (no shitty rotational only crosshair slow down)
This guy sounds like the ghost of caldera, I wonder
This guy sounds like the ghost of caldera.
It sucks you have to run drills to keep up these days.... To even play smoothly without getting aced every five seconds against the average regular player you need to do more than just play the game...
Also learn how to reset your aim. If you arent hitting shots stop shotting and reset. Dont diddle with you sensitivity too much either.
Once your weapon is upgraded to a higher level and you use the right attachments your aim will improve. It seems like kids now adays dont have patience or willing to fight for something. They want smashed potatos shoved into their mouth without smashing it.
But I turn aim assist off and have the most headshots in zombies lobbies
