  • One day… around 2 weeks ago… I had a crazy idea: What if I attempted to get a Victory Royale… using only the Avatar Bending Mythics?
It should be noted: I’m not an expert on Fortnite, more a casual player with a 5% Win Rate per season, MAX. Yet the idea itself felt like it’d be cool to pull off, maybe even fun under the right circumstances!… It took SO many attempts to finally achieve this, it felt like over 30… even having a friend to help me in Duos didn’t make it any easier…
But as this video will show, I did succeed eventually in Solo, which I’m very happy I have. With a 20-KO Bomb and the BEST finisher I could have ever asked for… this is one of my favourite Victory Royales I’ve ever achieved in Fortnite!
So what was my strategy for this challenge?
    PART 1 - COLLECTION
Firstly, always aim to land on the northeastern mountain peak to get the Air Mythic from Aang’s Temple. For the Water Mythic, either bolt towards the Water Temple west of Classy Courts or Katara’s Temple south of Grand Glacier. As for the Earth and Fire Mythics, either keep bolting towards the central Earth Temple and Zuko’s Temple east of Snooty Steppes, or get lucky enough to find ones placed randomly in other areas by checking the map in proximity.
    PART 2 - BATTLE
Air is purely a traversal and escape tool. I could use the Air Jump to lift opponents and cause them fall damage, but that’s too precise for me. With that said, start with Water to try and chip away at the opponent’s shield, with Earth complimenting it by creating a barrier for cover and firing stronger long-range attacks worth 85 damage as well. Once the opponent’s shield is gone, switch to Fire and perform a Dive Kick worth 80 damage for an instant KO, otherwise keep attacking to clear out the opponent’s last 20 HP.
    PART 3 - BACK-UP
It is vitally important to have as much to help you as possible outside the extra slot for shield recovery. So hire Recruits (Preferably someone with healing or reconnaissance perks based on your preferences) and capture a Storm Forecast Tower for the late-game. If you want, you CAN go after Medallions for additional abilities (Especially Cerberus’ and Zeus’), but ONLY if you’re up to the challenge of defeating bosses with a limited tool-set and the possibility of attracting some of the more dangerous opponents in your lobby. Honestly, attacking Zeus in this video was one of two times I tried and it was RISKY for me…
And that’s it. Through sheer perseverance, I’ve successfully completed this self-imposed challenge. I hope you like this final attempt at becoming a worthy Avatar.
    Enjoy. 😊
