How is no one talking about Derrick Jones Jr? For real the man was out of rotation playing for the Bulls last year. The Bulls!! Goes to Dallas and becomes one of the most important role players they have defensively and offensively. That type of transformation is amazing for a role player. Tim Duncan won Championship in 2002 and 2003, but I still believe Jason Kidd deserved the MVP in 2002 & KG in 2003. My point is that, perhaps Denver is a better TEAM than OKC. I’d take Murray over any of Shai’s teammates.

OKC weren't expecting MAVS to play zone defense that confused their style of play
Took them 5 games and Draymond to figure out why Okc is struggling against Dallas, they let SGA play 1v1, shut his driving game and let him either shoot mid range or kick to a 3.
OKC is the best 3pt shooting team %wise but they don't shoot a lot of it, Dallas is forcing them to shoot, completely taking out the paint points. They shot well in game 1 why they won, Dallas choke in game 4. It was very obvious OKC's game wouldn't translate well in the playoffs, they play fast, relies on drives, and also very young.

Mark Daigneault as Coach of the Year is still crazy to me. I argued when Giddey's minutes dropped that it would be better for OKC to have Giddey come off the bench and have Cason Wallace start instead. If not Wallace, then maybe Aaron Wiggins. Daigneault goes with Isaiah Joe which makes NOOOOO sense.

Though JKidd was a good coach tactically even at Nets and Bucks (not sure about player management, seems like he got better along the way in that regard), glad he’s finding success. Great basketball mind.

Went to the store after the game and sports talk radio was claiming "Luka and Kyrie led the way for Dallas" in Game 5 and I just shook my head. Kyrie has been a non-factor this series; don't force his name where it doesn't belong. If anything, give PJ Washington or Derrick Jones the credit.
