Leslie O'Leary Studio Tour

Hello and Welcome to my Studio Tour. I have just recently relocated from Denver, CO to Phoenix, AZ. This change has been really wonderful. I have been a NIADA Artist Member since 2008.
ABOUT MY WORK: I have devoted my last 20 years to the study of Asian Symbolism. Over the years, I have created Story Hat Dolls and smaller versions and now I find my work, as my life, is taking me in a different aesthetic direction with my art while holding true to and clarifying my beloved Asian symbolism. This was a necessary artistic step for growth to explore other possibilities within my sculptural art. I have found these past three to four years of exploration help define my art that has evolved with my soul. I feel growth is necessary for artists and I believe in the years to come this will be the start of some of my best work.
The NIADA Conference and Dollmaking School offers programs, exhibits and classes for visiting dollmakers and doll lovers to learn from each other and to share their work.
