Justin Fields is going to take the Steelers to the Superbowl
In the future
That will never happen
Stop smoking our Chicago Bears delusional dust. Stop knocking this young brother.
DJ Moore was a thousand plus yard receiver Mooney was close to 1000 and so was kmet the tight end with , Justin at QB his last year in Chicago
Luke getsy was a terrible offensive coordinator also oline was botom of the league every year
100% incorrect and all you had to do was look it up.
Its ALWAYS the dudes that NEVER got picked in ANY team sport that tries to attack someone elses talent...
Potentially eventually. Or maybe never.
we are a team known for drafting decent wr's, and in later rounds. we make our own receivers and i believe the coaches have faith in GP with Austin and Wilson plus all the rest. we got Muth, Darnell, our backs. we are not pressed to bring in another wr imo of their opinion. we are not giving up high draft capital during our run.
Who told you hes going to be the starter? Only way that happens is if next year the steelers go cheap again. Pickens would lose his damn mind with fields at qb. All the bad throws hed lose it.
Bad throws? Those are Caleb's ruclips.net/video/5JO1PsupF_U/видео.html. Fields is the incredibly accurate passer who only has two throws off by inches where those inches _might_ have led to YAC. Look, either play-calling & on-field talent matter or why did Brady leave N.E.? Or Mahomes should be exactly as productive with Toney as Tyreek. Since we *have video evidence that* Fields could thread passes like Marino at least before '22 ruclips.net/video/AFpyUpgpxcI/видео.html one has to at least _look _*_at_* the play-calling & on-field talent.
It can't be both. If I say "he's victim of the play-calling & on-field talent" you can't call that an excuse then dismiss his college greatness as being due to either of those things.
That's him throwing accurate missiles that don't sail & drop right in the hands of receivers FAR more regularly than most QBs can throw. The Bears have an HC that boasts about meddling in the offense to the extent that the press didn't bother speaking to Getsy & you didn't _wonder about_ that? the weeks Eberflus spent chop-waving shut any reporter who dared to ask why Fields was stopping himself throwing to open receivers was doing so because there _are_ no answers as to why he called for Fields to not throw to certain receivers on certain plays.
That's possibly The Most Overt Sabotage of a QB ever seen & he kept calling these for Over A Year. "Ay, Tom Brady. We wants yuz tuh you know, not throw to Edelman or Gronk on the next play as tuh you know, help you by making you not have to look out for *all* the open receivers. Yeah. Dat makes sense. So instead of t'rowing to any open receiver first make sure they're not Gronk. That'll 'Simplify' dee offense for yuz. You're welcome."
I'd like to see any other QB *survive* while working under the conditions they put on him.
Exactly! Idk what these people are thinking, wanting Fields to be the starter because they can’t relate to Russ.
Russ is easily the better QB without question.
@@ChewsCarefully: Fields cannot match Russ’s accuracy, nor can he match Russ’s consistency, durability, leadership, etc. He’s just not nearly on the same level.
@@DeCurtaRican ...& you measured all of this how? Especially the consistency? you know what Russ has led in the past 5 years? Passes Behind The Line Of Scrimmage. Do you know what effect this has on drives?
Rushes average 3+ yards creating 3rd & shorts. Passes BTLOS average around 2 yards. He threw over 23% of his passes there. So that almost 1 in 4.
How many times does that create 3rd & long on a drive from one's own 20? Very often. This would mean the D would know it was a pass & under that pressure Russ would throw yet another pass BTLOS on 3rd & long.
So that at least supports your notion of his greater consistency. As for more accurate I count the amount of times the ball is where it should be whether or not the receiver runs the correct route or if the ball ends up being incomplete or an INT after it hits them like Mooney did to him 3 times in '21 ruclips.net/video/glpaya0xz-4/видео.html (along with receivers falling down & not running the correct routes etc.).
Are you distinguishing between end results & things _in_ the QB's control? When Fields had good receivers who ran correct routes in college he was insanely accurate. There are only two passes in that highlight reel I first linked where a few more inches might have been better. Every single other pass hits them in stride.
He continued doing this until '21 ruclips.net/video/AFpyUpgpxcI/видео.html (where his NFL receivers were somehow All Worse than _all_ of his college ones) then in '22 the play-calling changed & so did he. Either Andy Reid & Kyle Shanahan *_ARE_*_ great_ or play-calling doesn't matter. Everywhere I go people can't figure this out.
@@ChewsCarefully JF is not an NFL starting QB. It's ok
He will eventually be the starter. Throw last year quarterback room out window let's get it Tomlin
Starter as what??? That’s the question. It won’t be QB. Not this year, and maybe not ever for the Steelers.
I think that Khan made a series of errors this off-season, wasting resources grabbing up Quez Watkins & Van Jefferson then having nothing but Future Prospects left to trade for other WRs. This may have made Stefon Diggs too expensive for them.
I mean he's perfect for the Steelers isn't he? A Diva WR who can break it deep. The Texans got him for cheap, Cheap like what it cost to get Watkins & Jefferson cheap. This team is going nowhere without *at **_LEAST_** one other* receiver who can produce. Pickens, the concussed TE & a rookie ain't gonna cut it. & no one is gonna watch drives end because of this lack & say "at least the o-line held up." The run game was solid & Fields negates the need for much of an upgrade on the o-line. They tried to juggle too many things.
What ?
You got to be a ohio state fan. Thats the only people saying fields is good and ignoring every single stat. With a trust me bro
You must not believe in context and a poor talent and skill assessor
@@blackbeltben2775 Fields is terrible. Snap out of it. Concentrate on that so called belt.
@BesTiCaN1000 Steeler fans will cheer his name and when he comes in the game know that your season is over.
