I would recommend to cook a lot of easy to reheat stuff and then freeze the food before the baby comes to make it easier for you to reheat the food after the baby comes
Yes, and easy things to eat with one hand, sandwiches and such. Also, grab some fiber one bars....trust me it's worth just adding them into your diet for a while. Keep up on the water after too! You cant make food if you aren't taking care of yourself.

Daphne and Olivia M Yes! Everyone told me not to let the nurses take the baby but I was up for 24 hours and then the next night baby was up every 30 minutes for milk I was sooooo thankful when the nurse let us sleep for a few hours!!

Yes, I wish everyone was as thoughtful!! On the other hand, I have food allergies and I've occasionally had friends who really wanted to include me but just couldn't keep everything straight and would constantly mix up what was and wasn't something I could eat. Those people scare me and I would rather they not try to include me. It's such a difficult social interaction!

I just wondered it you could cut big open circles in the little pumpkins of Jenn's pumpkin to put tea lights inside each so that the ears light up. It was so cute! Love all the pumpkins! Each needs a metal or red ribbon. You need to spray them with a clear acrylic or spray polyurethane so that they stay pretty until Halloween.

When you go into labour you won’t care what the hospital looks like and there will be no plan as such ...just go with the flow I was nervous with my first child too 🥰

Awwwww, I’m so glad that you found a hospital that feels right for you and that they answered all your questions and eased some of your nerves. I remember really appreciating the hospital tour when I was pregnant with my son 12 years ago for that very reason, like you said, first time parents have never done this before and it can definitely be overwhelming (as well as the best day of your life! 😊) so I agree that having a lot of information going in is best. SO excited for when you bring Baby Tracker into the world but obviously also hoping he stays in until the best time for him to come out! Sending lots of ❤️
I'm glad that hospital that you chose gave you the run down on what would happen. I had an emergency C-section with my twins, they were born a week before the scheduled C-section. I had no idea what was going to happen but remarkably I was calm and so excited to meet our new little ones. I'm a so excited for you guys! Being a parent is the best job in the world. Enjoy!
FYI: prior to my daughters birth, It was suggested by our Lamaze teacher that the father should go with the baby when they take him to the next room. This way Tim is with him at all times when Jenn is being attended to and can keep an eye on him. Obviously, your baby will be in good hands, but you want to follow YOUR baby until he gets his bracelet and such.
I did the same thing I told my husband no matter what once the baby comes out forget about me and follow her wherever they take her ... most hospitals offer GREAT security for the babies tho
Mickey one was so the best :) Letting them take the baby for a little bit is nice , it gives you time to rest before going home , I had been so tired after I had my oldest and my second , I’ve never had a csection so I’m not sure if someone would be even more tired but a small break truly is nice The staff will take wonderful care of the baby and you :)
HI Jen and and Tim here's my grandpas borscht recipe Grandpas borscht soup. Big soup pot In pot add water soup bone let simmer 1 big can of crushed tomato’s One can of tomato past in pot 1 pack of stew meat season with salt and pepper put in frying pan and cook after put in the pot. Cut up 5 carrots in to coin then in half four Stocks stocks of celery one yellow onion chopped,four potato. Peeled and cut in to Cubs one head of cabbage cut up add to pot in a tea steeped add picking spices place in to pot smash two cloves of garlic and mince. Let simmer for 45 minutes or until potatoes and carrots are tender. Then serve with crust buns and enjoy. My grandpa would make this on cold days. Your fan from Canada Alberta

On a side note, if you do end up having the section, & are interested & didn't know, a whole lot of hospitals will now allow csection mommas to keep baby with them as long as everything is going ok. Im a 2x csection momma & while it was not available when my son was born in 2013, I was able to choose this for when my daughter was born. From o.r, to recovery, then back to your room he won't leave your side. Unfortunately with my daughter she had some issues with some grunting so we weren't able to get that immediate skin to skin. So if you are definitely interested in this definitely ask your doctor if he/she is comfortable with that, and ask the hospital as well. Cannot wait for your little guy to get here!! You guys are going to be wonderful parents!! 😊❤👶

The recovery after my c-section was a little rough that first day, and I tried to do way to much to soon. Please take your time in recovering. Accept help when offered, take breaks, and take care of yourself, especially while healing. I wish you all a safe and happy delivery!

Ashlee I went vegan about a year ago and was worried as well, but Vegan is becoming so mainstream it is pretty easy as long as you are ready to change the way you eat from a mental perspective. You have been eating one way your whole life and been taught one way your whole life, so it is a massive change, no joke, but like Constance said start small. And if you are out to eat, look at Vegan option and give one a try! Good luck in your journey.
I was loving that they made all vegan food for the two vegans who came. I’m a vegetarian and that’s never happened. (In fact, I’ve made an old meat fav of mine so MY friends would eat at MY party!) I was just like, what great friends they are!! That means so much!!

I have a pumpkin carving party every year the weekend before Halloween. It’s so fun! I always put our jack-o-lantern in the refrigerator to keep it fresh for Halloween night.
It was a tie for best pumpkin between you both - Tim for traditional and Jenn of course for Disney theming. Enjoy the next little while and even though you may not want to get lots of rest - this is advice for both. Enjoy, and I cant wait to see how you adapt to having a little one running around next year.
Oh my gosh I cannot even remember the last time I carved a pumpkin! But watching this has completely inspired me. I absolutely loved Jenn’s pumpkin! That is exactly what I think I will do. So incredibly cute! The vegan pumpkin chili sounds really yummy also so I think I’ll give that a go as well!

I was loving that they made all vegan food for the two vegans who came. I’m a vegetarian and that’s never happened. (In fact, I’ve made an old meat fav of mine so MY friends would eat at MY party!) I was just like, what great friends they are!! That means so much!!

I have a pumpkin carving party every year the weekend before Halloween. It’s so fun! I always put our jack-o-lantern in the refrigerator to keep it fresh for Halloween night.

Oh my gosh that Mickey pumpkin is amazing! We actually made a Mickey Pumpkin out of paper mache for my sons Halloween costume last year 🎃

It was a tie for best pumpkin between you both - Tim for traditional and Jenn of course for Disney theming. Enjoy the next little while and even though you may not want to get lots of rest - this is advice for both. Oh my gosh I cannot even remember the last time I carved a pumpkin! But watching this has completely inspired me. I absolutely loved Jenn’s pumpkin! That is exactly what I think I will do. So incredibly cute! The vegan pumpkin chili sounds really yummy also so I think I’ll give that a go as well!
