I bought this kicker , thanks for your recommendations
What the length/dimensions of the kicker and infinity speaker? My factory speaker magnet is 2 1/2 just want to make sure they clear
Nice videos bro, soooo what’s the best 3.5 you would suggest and your favorite?
How about marine speakers ? And I extremely love your reviews keep it up I am following you from Egypt keep the good job ♥️♥️💪 and I am thinking to buy deaf bounce as 8" speakers or there is another good speakers ? Or I should get marine speakers ? Help me pls 😂😂
I am using these Kicker 3.5” in my dash of my pickup. I also have the 6x9” Kickers in my front doors and 6.5” Kickers in my rear doors. I just added an amplifier for these speakers and it made a huge difference in sound quality. I’m really enjoying them.
Do you get a soft air sound when listening to podcasts or talk radio shows mine sound amazing with music but a bit off on a podcasts
@@Mark-wq1nhHonestly, I mostly listen to music. I would have to find out. Also, my speakers are amplified and I have a DSP
@@JayRays1truck thanks for the info I'm not amplified and haven't installed my door speakers yet I'm guessing once they are in it will be much less of a problem
@@Mark-wq1nhI will say that amplifying the speakers usually makes them sound better. Installing the door speakers should fill in the sound quite a bit and give you more of the mid range and lower frequencies that you are probably missing a bit of with running only the dash speakers. The “airy” sound could be that your treble is set a bit high, or it could be reflections from the windshield. I wouldn’t change much until you install your door speakers and see how that affects your sound.
for good quality punchy vocals, big or small diaphragm speaker is useful.
So what is better Kicker or Skar?
Mike, try review the Pioneer A1674s speaker, I want to see your review about that speaker. If you can review it then i'll be very pleasure to you Mike😁😁
Which passive crossover capacitor do i need for the infinity 4032cfx (4inch) speaker?
400V - 1.5UF capacitor is good?
Will you do something about the JBL club 3020 3.5” speakers?
I had the kickers they have a problem with their glue the motor shifted on them never had a motor shift on the speaker that small
Would love to see you test the Rockville RV35.3A.
I just put the kickers in my dash it great for music but when I'm listening to talk radio or podcast it sounds airy and do not throw the kickers in unless replacing all speakers or it will over power your other speakers
👍 nice can you drop more 8" midrange-midbass speakers 🔊 please Mike 👍🔊💪
Can you test some Ground Zero midrange speakers 🙏
How about the Hertz DCX 87.3?
dam doesnt look like the kicker would fit in my 1st gen neon. Was happy with your recommendation on the kickers for the rear for the 80s metal that I listen to.
What about this Kicker vs the Skar
I originally went from stock 3.5 to Fosgate to American Bass. Loved it!
You switched from Fosgate to American Bass lol. Why?
@@calebniederhofer6529Simple - American Bass out performed the fosgates.
@@OG_Fernando American Bass is pretty low end stuff. I have a hard time believing it sounded better then any Fosgate speaker, unless you don’t have a amp, or proper power to them.
@@calebniederhofer6529 IMHO - Most companies have low end and high end products. I have $200 to spend on a subwoofer. I'd choose American Bass over Fosgate 99% of the time. That would probably change if I had unlimited funds.
@@OG_Fernando I never said anything about subwoofers. That’s not really a good argument though. Companies low end stuff, can sound better the some high ends. American Bass gets loud, but the fidelity is horrible. You would have to buy there high end stuff, to compete with most entry level series.
You GOTTA put the Faital Pro 3fe200 in this battle!!!
Thanks for reviewing small speakers, do 4” next! 😎🥳👍
Ds18 ZXI354 or planet audio 3.5 comparison
I tried the kickers, pioneers nvx, black diamond, american bass, alpasonik and skar 3.5 to match my door oem speakers in my 2024 rav4. The more efficient does not mean better. On the oem headunit all of these speakers are on the bright side, especially after adding a bass blocking cap. The job is to blend with the door speakers not overwhelm them. I settled on the skars with american bass swivel tweets were second. The kickers and pioneers are way too bright, listener fatigue sets in quickly when these are bouncing off the windshield.
exactly they always to bright and lack the punch
If you get these with your stock stereo make sure to get some bass blockers for them too.
they come with one installed
So I'm running these in a classic car (front center dash) and I just have one 6.5 inch in the back. Wouldn't I want a little bass from front? I skipped the inline crossovers for this reason and wondering if I should change. Appreciate all advice. Thanks
@@andrewmaez888 for door speakers sure, theres good jbl's that can be used with stocked stereos and have a good bass, but Tweeters nooo, they get hot fast and distort at medium to high volumes, bass blockers stop distortion, the only way would be if you had your tweakers hooked up to an amp too,
@@andrewmaez888 bass blockers don't block bass... Bass blockers are simply a electrolytic capacitor that blocks DC current. The lower the frequency, the closer to DC it becomes. So "Bass Blockers" are really just a -6db/octave bass reducer that rolls off at a frequency depending on the rating of the capacitor. with the larger the uF rating (MicroFarad) the lower the frequencies are allowed to pass to the speaker and not be attenuated.
@@aquaticlives2948 These are not tweeters, these are 2-way coax speakers. They are designed to be used without an external crossover. If you intend to run them over rated power, you will definitely need a crossover but not for the tweeter, the woofer will exceed mechanical limits if fed too much power. At rated power, these need no crossover. A stock radio, or even an aftermarket radio, with no external amplifier is not going to overpower these unless its one of Sony's 4 x 40w RMS decks or something similar with a high-output amp built in (these are pretty rare though).
Heat also has nothing to do with why tweeters need a high pass filter. Tweeters are fragile and precision hardware, and are not meant to experience much of any excursion whatsoever, so pushing low frequencies at even low power for a fraction of a second can be enough for them to mechanically fail. Heat is not an issue, with any speaker, unless MASSIVELY overpowered, or moderately overpowered for a very long time.
Prueba las de 4 pulgadas de kicker
So is the kicker better than the infinity reference??
Probably on par with each other. Reference series is on the lower to middle range for infinity speakers.
is 3,5 bigger that 3 inch or its the same i want to upgrade my bluetooth speaker but idk if its the same or no
3,5 inch is not 3 inch :D
🙄
The kicker is too bright for me. Infinity better
Open baffle/free air isn't doing them justice. The infinity ref is a 3 ohm speaker, yes? And the kicker is 4ohm. The 3 ohm will sound louder and the amp will run hotter if it was designed to operate on a 4ohm load. Not much hotter, but hotter. Not apples to apples.
Infinity ref lower end model is 💩💩💩 distorts at 3/4 vol on stock head unit and half way on aftermarket I thought it was a bad batch nope
No deaf bonce tweeter??? Come on
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻❤️❤️❤️❤️ luck you!
Can you use a DB meter, so we can see how much they play..
Cuz its hard to hear the diffrent you hear.... would make ur video more proffesional..
Anything is better than most stock speakers...
The kicker sound tin-ny. Stock sounds better.
Bruh
i love skar
Don’t buy door speakers from skar they do not sound like a high end speakers at all
@@alltorque415 I found this out the wrong way my 3.5 is good but the 6x9 you can barley hear them
I switched mine for kicker and jbl. A million times better
The kick is trash don’t wast your money on Walmart speakers
