The king finds a hand fan with a message from his dead brother saying that he ( the brother) has taken her. I'm not sure which is the original ending, but I believe it's this one. You can find all three endings here on RUclips. They are labeled 36A, 36B, and 36C. This one is 36C. It's up to the viewer which ending they prefer.. I honestly prefer this ending.

I guess one copy has the soul, one contained the special blood clan 🤷♀️ When she experienced near death at the beginning of show, her two bodies merged to one. The emperor married the duplicate of her that did not contain her spirit, thus she was lacking/dull before.
