The hardest part about Monaco other than passing for me is making those time trails laps actually fast. It was so frustrating, I had a 1:01 time in a race which is a record for me but I couldn’t seem to replicate it in the time trial. Still like the circuit though
@@reasat i got a sub one minute lap during a race and i can't go below 1:02 in the time trial. I think its because of the speed we get out of the last corner, which is not present in the time trial.

Do you understand this was a very difficult race, that bore no reality whatsoever?? Three laps and 20 cars… That’s why they dropped it to 16. Since you are so critical of me, let’s see you put up a Real Racing 3 video. I want to see you do this three lap race without touching one wall or one car. NOT ONE TOUCH. Of course, minor contact is actually allowed in racing but you already set that rule that it isn’t. You’ll have to do it in the invitational series since that’s the only place it’s left. Then post a video for everyone to see. I will sincerely applaud you if you can do it. It would probably be the only existing version of it so that would be a very nice accomplishment.
Glad to see I'm not the only one still playing pinball racing on this track 😂. For those who haven't try throwing a couple more upgrades on your tune. Bot slowing did nothing for me on a car without a tune but started working when I brought a fully tuned car (zero driver/principal upgrades).

Wow, you made this look a lot easier than it was for me. After several failed attempts, I finally won it with what could only be described as a destruction derby. I had cars flying everywhere, including my own. But, I was in 1st place by the end of lap 2 and ran a stress-free lap 3 for the win. This is a tough track; it will not be my choice for a fun and relaxed racing session. BTW, your echo effects for the tunnel are VERY cool...😎
Do you happen to know how much the Monaco Tuning Setup would cost to fully maximise? Also as a musician, I loved the concert hall reverb effect. Sounds brilliant!
M$ 3,965,800 to max out Monaco tuning. I’m glad you liked the reverb. I’m also a musician and I’ve always loved messing with things. I had to do many splices as well as volume fades to make it sound realistic but it was worth it. Hopefully they add this feature to the game at some point!
I mastered the track sooner than I thought I would. Clearing the Monaco Grand Prix in just 2 days (that too not complete 2 days lol). It's definitely among my favourite tracks to race on in-game. Love the precision it requires & it's just way too satisfying to finish without touching any cars or the walls.
I don't necessarily use visual braking points, but rather, by trial and error, I look at what gear takes me fastest through a corner without slipping. for example, if I slip when I'm in 4th gear and go through like a snail in 2nd, then I take the turn perfectly in 3rd. It also depends on at what point you get into optimal gear. for example, the turn b4 the hairpin, sharp right, I enter in 5th, brake and downshift to 4th, take the turn in 4th while brakeing until I'm in 2nd gear, and then hit the gas. some tips for ya if you can't keep up with visual references. also, I race in first person
My default setting us 2. For a handful of cars like the McLaren MP4-X and pre-2019 F1 cars I use 0. I took the advice of some people and actually increased my sensitivity to 4 at Monaco. That helped me there.
I haven't done the Monaco GP yet so I'm just doing this with my Spa setup. I've done it many times and only won once and got 2nd or 3rd place a few times.
spa setup is very low downforce. id recommend silverstone setup cos its got some more downforce. but once you get the monaco setup, oh boy is it good, you can brake so late and grip hard in circuits like yas marina and america

I’ve added that to the video, you can’t race that way. I record the race, then I record the replay and that 2nd view. Then I have to synchronize them which can be difficult. After that there’s some cropping and choosing which audio I want to go with. It can be a lot of work but this way I help multiple people at the same time.
This is a great track. I was finding it so difficult and thought I would never win it. So challenging but a beautiful track. Would like to see Autódromo José Carlos Pace added. My best lap on one of the races is 03:17.332. Interesting how close our times are. I wonder what other times others are getting.
Can’t do it! Aghhhhh! Is it essential to have full controls (acc/brake)? What are the benefits of doing it offline/retry? I get 2nd or 3rd every time. Help!
Offline you will get easier bots. Many different control options work. Could also try going to a short autocross or speed snap in that series, finish last place 15+ times, then go do the race again. That will have you easier bots. You have to have servicing in the green while you do the losing part.
I used it in my Racing Point. I had a clean race yesterday here. No damage and no wall hits. On the final lap, I overtake Hamilton on the outside before Msssenet and Casino. I had the squeeze him to the wall to make the move.
Is Daytona 400 a special event or the limited time series? If it is the special event, does it have a required Performance Rating? Or a recommended Performance Rating?
In the older days the term “special event” meant a recommended PR event. “Limited time series” meant required event. It seems like they started mixing these terms up though. At any rate it is required PR so it won’t be very difficult. Nice work 👏 👌 I liked the echo. Increasing the sensitivity helps alot. I'm suffering from the yellow colour illusion on the last turn just before the end line due to the Prielli boards on the two sides of the road, please ask the monkeys to change it and to add the tunnel echo as well 😀.
I’ve asked them to add the echo, sent them an earlier copy this and how I did it. Hopefully they can make that work. As far as the Perelli board, I know what you mean. Unfortunately that’s all licensing requirements so we’re not going to see that change.
EA didn't added Monaco and RBR to the Invitational Series. Will they be doing that next update so we can get longer races there? Especially for Monaco, 3 laps is WAY too short, and I think if they update the Champion Series they should update the Invitational Series too
They are definitely going to add both of those tracks to the Invitational series. However they haven’t announced when that will happen, they just say, “in a future update”.
There’s no one answer anymore. If you don’t want to spend any gold then it’s 3678 @ M$ 2,817,800. But then if you buy driver level ups and so on it changes things. So there’s multiple ways to do these things these days.
I almost broke my device setting a 59:1 with my mercedes in the time trial. Monaco is one of the tracks which fascinates me due to the high speed chicanes(especially the last sector). I love to nail the last sector perfectly
In Massenet I see the large ad on the right as a first reference, but I brake just when I saw the inner piano on the left opening as far as possible to the right before entering the curve, I lowered the brake two gears, and then I brake in the immediate pedestrian crossing, I use the GPB configuration so I do not know how much this can help you, greetings, thanks for your work

5:17 I use brakes on the pedestrian crossings. Soft braking (one shift down) before the speedy turn and medium braking (two shifts down) before the next corner.
They all have the same Monaco tuning. McLaren has driver level 8 and principal level 11 (3323). My Ferrari has driver level 3 and principal level 9 (2312). The order of the principles numbers is top speed, acceleration, brakes, grip. The same order that stats are listed in for those cars.

I would do a cloud save and then reinstall the game as soon as possible. Whenever I have weird glitches like that I just reinstall the game and it usually fixes it.

The more you skid the faster it wears out. In a lot of those stages you eventually have to drive with 0% tires. Try to gain a lot when you have tires, then take it easy later on. Tip: just hold the accelerator even before the lights go out. You will not get a false start Also i find singapore much harder lol. I can cut the first corner and end up in 2nd in monaco while i cant do the same in singapore
So I go offline and this was still such a pain. But into Saint Devot(T1) I can gain up to 11 positions depending on my run. But the bots are just so far ahead by the time I get to 4th at the chicane. I finally did it after 4 consecutive days of it.

Next video: After winning Monaco once (pure fluke) lets is if I can jag it again. I tried again after watching your video and did manage to get second place. Prior to this the best was 4th. Not bad. If I do manage to win this race I doubt I will ever win it again. And I'm an optimistic person.

I don't understand how you can win this race with laps like that, I've been trying this race for 20 hours and can't get higher than 2nd, I can get 1:01 lap times and they are still getting faster lap times than me, the faster I go the faster they go it seems
That’s actually true. If you finish your race in first, second or third place then they will usually make it a bit harder the next time around. The intent is that you keep facing more and more difficult opponents. For me and most of this game the competition is far too easy. HOWEVER, that certainly isn’t the case at a track like Monaco, New York or Hong Kong with all of the walls and narrow passing zones. You can use that programming to your advantage. Go to a really short race in that same series like an auto cross or a speed snap. Finish in eighth place 10-20 times in a row. You have to make sure you’re servicing is in the green when you do this. Then go back and try the Monaco Race again, should be easier. Also, it will sometimes work better if you log out of Facebook and game centre if you’re on iOS and then also go off-line. There’s a limit to how much you can slow down the bots but from where you have them you can slow them down a lot. It sounds like they are set at maximum difficulty!

I used to think it only kicked in at higher speeds. But then if you watch this very video as I hit the grand Hotel hairpin, slipstream is kicking in and I’m only 115 to 125kph. I didn’t even notice it until after I made this video! Go to 0:58 and just stare at my speed, you’ll see it flash yellow a few times. It’s possible they’ve made some changes to drafting.
If you pull out the engine then yes, you have a car that can not move at all. Might as well call it Red Bull because they own it. You know they just changed the name so that they could sell more trendy clothes?
I really don’t like that track! Berlin is another track I really don’t like for similar reasons. Both are narrow and it’s hard to pass. There is a way you can slow down the competition to make it easier so you can at least get your series completion bonuses. I made a separate video about that, featuring Monaco. HEY MAN!! Long time no see! I thought about you now and again. Yes, they went pretty deep. It’s been a bumpy road getting into Drivers and Principals but it’s finally ending in a good spot. Now when you maximize your principal you can switch tunings as much as you want. Tunings are basically the way upgrades used to be, but now in 2020 there is a separate tuning for each track. The really nice thing is you can have one tuning applied to as many different cars as you want once you earn it. Quite a change from the content that we were playing years ago but I like where it ended.
Yas Marina was added in 2019 F1 series. Both of those are exclusive to F1 due to licensing. 2 Red Bull Ring circuits, Berlin Formula E and the Bugatti circuit were added quite a while back so you probably know about those. They are in many areas of the game.
Not coordinated with any other game that is using this track. All those passing zones are actually offtrack in real life. The track is even narrower than in real life, totally confused by this track. I'm not the fastest gamer, but I learned a lot of these tracks in PC games... And I totally don't get the physics of this game. So Not Real Racing

It takes an awful lot of time and work to make videos the way I make them. Between our two videos people should have a really good idea of how they can win at Monaco.
You forgot the most important thing to say! You need to log out of Your profile and team to disable quick friends! And need downgrade the bots in the dash for 10 times!
I didn’t do any downgrading. In fact I ran that series as hard as I could. I actually found the offline bots harder than online because I’ve been winning the races by quite a lot sometimes. But that is good advice! For people having trouble, they could try slowing down the bots first.
Yeah, I’m trying to sort that out. Parts of this video were clear and then other parts were blurry. Like at the very beginning you could read my currency totals clearly but then at the end, not so much. The problem is I had already done all the work on this video before I noticed it. My editing app doesn’t show really good resolution so I just need to put it out. I’ve double checked all my settings and they’re all maxed out. I’m using the same screen recorder every time for the past two years. Since update 8.8 some of my recordings are a bit blurry. So I think it might actually be a problem with the game. I reinstalled the game last night. If that doesn’t work I’ll have to try reinstalling my screen recording app. I’ve been reluctant to do that because I’ve got some files I don’t want to lose. But if reinstalling the game doesn’t help, then I’m going to have to reinstall my recording app. I’ve emailed tech-support at the recording app (record it) but I’m not hearing anything back, some guys just don’t respond.
That’s how the champions series is. In the future they will add this track to the invitational series. At that point we should see a longer version of it, I’m guessing 9 laps.
tell them they should have endurance(LIKE 10LAPS) f1 races like formula E coz Monaco is impossible to win from last without cutting corners and crashing oponents which isnt satisfying
I don't understand..why don't you play some serious racing games? Nothing against RR3, in fact it is by far the racing game I played most, but if I were so hard-core about racing as you, and had the means and free time, I imagine spending my time on Forza, GT or something like that.
Time is the problem. It takes a lot to keep up with this game, make the videos, keep up with comments and so forth. Plus I have a whole regular life to keep going. I may branch out sometime.
This AI seems much less intelligent than the AI in my races, and the cars are also much closer together in this video so overtaking is also way easier :/

Update: I got 58.944 with the Spa tuning setup
Turn auto braking off at the nouvelle chicane and brake at about 75m edit: no auto brakes during the 3rd sector. Got a 59.1 btw

Your flying lap in the race is better than the setup for the time trial. That's why you're faster in the race.
In time trials you can't use the offtrack space. You need to drive as it is supposed to.

It’s short, but it’s enough. It took me two tries to get it. Did it in a fully tuned Spa tuning.

You can pass at La Rascasse if you bump the front car forward on braking.
5:17 I use brakes on the pedestrian crossings. Soft braking (one shift down) before the speedy turn and medium braking (two shifts down) before the next corner.
Hello What is your tuning set up of ferrari and mclaren?
They all have the same Monaco tuning. McLaren has driver level 8 and principal level 11 (3323). My Ferrari has driver level 3 and principal level 9 (2312). The order of the principles numbers is top speed, acceleration, brakes, grip. The same order that stats are listed in for those cars.

I only go for sensitivity 2 for Monaco circuit but it is doable and becomes easy when you have a hang of it.
The Time Trials is the harder challenge to reach 158mph exiting the tunnel.

I would do a cloud save and then reinstall the game as soon as possible. Whenever I have weird glitches like that I just reinstall the game and it usually fixes it.

I drive with everything turned off steering sensitivity is at 0 I've gotten used to it but all the cars that I have are maxed out
Tip: just hold the accelerator even before the lights go out. You will not get a false start
Also i find singapore much harder lol. I can cut the first corner and end up in 2nd in monaco while i cant do the same in singapore

So I go offline and this was still such a pain. But into Saint Devot(T1) I can gain up to 11 positions depending on my run. But the bots are just so far ahead by the time I get to 4th at the chicane. I finally did it after 4 consecutive days of it.

Next video: After winning Monaco once (pure fluke) lets is if I can jag it again. I tried again after watching your video and did manage to get second place. Prior to this the best was 4th. Not bad. If I do manage to win this race I doubt I will ever win it again. And I'm an optimistic person.
I love watching your content on a daily basis bcoz they're really helpful for me and i kinda try these tips and tricks in game and they help a lot but there's 1 thing I'm not able to get off is I play with my assists and controls are buttons with auto gas.. Will you please help me out to learn how to run without assists using buttons control please 😫🙏🙏💓....
Unfortunately I cannot use those control options. I’ve tried them but they really do not work for me. However I do know another RUclipsr who runs with buttons and he is a good racer. I don't understand how you can win this race with laps like that, I've been trying this race for 20 hours and can't get higher than 2nd, I can get 1:01 lap times and they are still getting faster lap times than me, the faster I go the faster they go it seems
That’s actually true. If you finish your race in first, second or third place then they will usually make it a bit harder the next time around. The intent is that you keep facing more and more difficult opponents. For me and most of this game the competition is far too easy. HOWEVER, that certainly isn’t the case at a track like Monaco, New York or Hong Kong with all of the walls and narrow passing zones. You can use that programming to your advantage. Go to a really short race in that same series like an auto cross or a speed snap. Finish in eighth place 10-20 times in a row. You have to make sure you’re servicing is in the green when you do this. Then go back and try the Monaco Race again, should be easier. Also, it will sometimes work better if you log out of Facebook and game centre if you’re on iOS and then also go off-line. There’s a limit to how much you can slow down the bots but from where you have them you can slow them down a lot. It sounds like they are set at maximum difficulty!

Slipstream usually kicks in at exactly 100mph or 160 kph.
I used to think it only kicked in at higher speeds. But then if you watch this very video as I hit the grand Hotel hairpin, slipstream is kicking in and I’m only 115 to 125kph. I didn’t even notice it until after I made this video! Go to 0:58 and just stare at my speed, you’ll see it flash yellow a few times. It’s possible they’ve made some changes to drafting.

Of all of the tracks in Real Racing 3, I just can't master Monaco. I've given up entire F1 series because I couldn't complete the circuit.
I really don’t like that track! Berlin is another track I really don’t like for similar reasons. Both are narrow and it’s hard to pass. There is a way you can slow down the competition to make it easier so you can at least get your series completion bonuses. I made a separate video about that, featuring Monaco. I’m joking around in the beginning about how easy it is, I get into explaining it pretty quick. It certainly isn’t easy normally!

One problem I have is that I go too fast. I end up getting into serious accidents with the bots because I drive sections so much faster XD

HEY MAN!! Long time no see! I thought about you now and again. Yes, they went pretty deep. It’s been a bumpy road getting into Drivers and Principals but it’s finally ending in a good spot. Now when you maximize your principal you can switch tunings as much as you want. Tunings are basically the way upgrades used to be, but now in 2020 there is a separate tuning for each track. The really nice thing is you can have one tuning applied to as many different cars as you want once you earn it. Quite a change from the content that we were playing years ago but I like where it ended.

Yas Marina was added in 2019 F1 series. Both of those are exclusive to F1 due to licensing. 2 Red Bull Ring circuits, Berlin Formula E and the Bugatti circuit were added quite a while back so you probably know about those. They are in many areas of the game.

Not coordinated with any other game that is using this track. All those passing zones are actually offtrack in real life. The track is even narrower than in real life, totally confused by this track. I'm not the fastest gamer, but I learned a lot of these tracks in PC games... And I totally don't get the physics of this game. So Not Real Racing

I get it now. I had no idea that you had made a similar video with the similar thumbnail. 😂. I’m so busy between my content and regular life that I just don’t have time to watch RUclips videos. It takes an awful lot of time and work to make videos the way I make them. Between our two videos people should have a really good idea of how they can win at Monaco.
You forgot the most important thing to say! You need to log out of Your profile and team to disable quick friends! And need downgrade the bots in the dash for 10 times!
I didn’t do any downgrading. In fact I ran that series as hard as I could. I actually found the offline bots harder than online because I’ve been winning the races by quite a lot sometimes. But that is good advice! For people having trouble, they could try slowing down the bots first.

Yeah, I’m trying to sort that out. Parts of this video were clear and then other parts were blurry. Like at the very beginning you could read my currency totals clearly but then at the end, not so much. The problem is I had already done all the work on this video before I noticed it. My editing app doesn’t show really good resolution so I just need to put it out.
I’ve double checked all my settings and they’re all maxed out. I’m using the same screen recorder every time for the past two years. Since update 8.8 some of my recordings are a bit blurry. So I think it might actually be a problem with the game. I reinstalled the game last night. If that doesn’t work I’ll have to try reinstalling my screen recording app. I’ve been reluctant to do that because I’ve got some files I don’t want to lose. But if reinstalling the game doesn’t help, then I’m going to have to reinstall my recording app. I’ve emailed tech-support at the recording app (record it) but I’m not hearing anything back, some guys just don’t respond.

That’s how the champions series is. In the future they will add this track to the invitational series. At that point we should see a longer version of it, I’m guessing 9 laps.
tell them they should have endurance(LIKE 10LAPS) f1 races like formula E coz Monaco is impossible to win from last without cutting corners and crashing oponents which isnt satisfying
I don't understand..why don't you play some serious racing games? Nothing against RR3, in fact it is by far the racing game I played most, but if I were so hard-core about racing as you, and had the means and free time, I imagine spending my time on Forza, GT or something like that.
Time is the problem. It takes a lot to keep up with this game, make the videos, keep up with comments and so forth. Plus I have a whole regular life to keep going. I may branch out sometime.

Monaco is very narrow, if you're not rough with overtakes you will not win.
This AI seems much less intelligent than the AI in my races, and the cars are also much closer together in this video so overtaking is also way easier :/
