I loved how Yu-kai talks about companies mindlessly inserting "gamification" when the rest of the app app has no aspects of a game. I think we've all been there 😅 Also, being aware of giving a sense of control to the user (white hat, black hat) was great. It's really nice to have this kind of explicit breakdown of how to engage users, so that you can always go back to it when you feel lost.
