Ikea has lost their mind with the prices of their furniture. You can spend a little more and get quality pieces.

I noticed last month when I went to replace a white cotton duvet cover that is typically $40 with matching pillowcases for my queen size bed, and it was up to 60. It went from a great deal to an average price.
Unfortunately it's all down to shipping.

Thanks so much for sharing this trip to Ikea-I’m watching it a little late, but it’s still good. The rattan outdoor dining chairs that you liked are sort of a dupe for Lloyd Loom chairs, I think. I’m glad you sat in them. Comfort is what I look for almost before I look at the appearance.
Kudos Brandy great navigating and narrating throughout IKEA! You made it less anxiety and guided flawlessly and everything flowed with ease. Especially with doing it with one hand lol.
The fluted glass cabinet is the best thing in the store .

I've had that tablecloth for a couple of years, it washes great. I take it out of the dryer just before it's fully dry and drop it on the table. I've used it for both indoor and outdoor, I'm a big fan!
IKEA rattan chairs are for recommended for indoor use only.

I love IKEA but I’m struggling with accepting the prices on their couches and chairs. I don’t see it!! Other stuff they have like the canisters and such are definitely high quality and reasonably priced. Just shocked. Thanks for taking us through!❤

Brrandy, IKEA bedding are my favorites. Their home decor is so unique and affordable but their furniture is so expensive. I've had some pieces that were sturdy but others that just fell apart. I'll have to make a trip soon and check out the same tablecloth. It's so pretty. The gold knob looks a bit cheap. I think you can find better options 👌🏽😊
Amazing how much ikea has raised their prices. Some cute pieces but wouldn’t shop furniture there anymore.
I have the oval “brass” cabinet knobs and cup pulls in my kitchen. I don’t like the shiny brass but bought them thinking I could remove the lacquer and patina them. Just a heads up, they are not brass, it is only a thin layer of the colour so I was not able to do that. I resorted to giving a light sand (which is why I know the coating is thin 🤦🏻♀️) and used some gold rub and buff on them to try to tone down the shine.
I love going in the room displays when the shop is quiet. I sit down and pretend I live there 😊. The problem is I have windows and doors in the wrong places in my house and they just change theirs around to suit the display.

I bought 2 of these for 25 € each like 10 years ago and they went with a seat pillow. Plus they are not that good. One of them became grayish after 3 days on my balcony…
I was trying to compare those glass canister sizes and it got tricky. One was in quarts and one was in ounces and I was standing there doing Google conversions on my phone. Some were only an ounce or two different between styles.
I e had the glass cake stand you showed at the begging for the past three years. I have used it often and it is still going strong. When I bought it was 14.99.

The Agen rattan dining chairs are for INDOOR use only. I have 2 in my all-season porch. Rain and UV will destroy them, fyi.
I bought a similar rattan chair from ikea over 20 years ago. I probably paid around $40 for it. Should have kept it, would have been vintage now, lol.
Prices are have gotten pretty high for the quality.

Prices are double what they should be.
I used to shop at IKEA every Friday. Now they are taking advantage, I’m withdrawing my spending.
I hope that's a slipcover on that striped loveseat...if it is upholstery,, that's a poor wrinkly fit on the arm. Actually not impressed with any of the sofas.

Ilene, some times people want to know the prices. It’s a shop with me. Do you expect viewers to pause every minute they see something to search it up? The only time knowing a price would be considered tacky, is if you gifted something to someone and you kept the price on it.
Yelling at someone on their platform is tacky. She can do as she pleases and many people would like to know the prices, to be informed.
