You really Tried Harder! Good job on not giving up and finally passing it. I really loved your background wall, such a great inspiration to keep learning.

Great video! I am thinking about doing the OSWA. I agree folks should try first and only ask for help after some frustration. I passed my OSCP after a few times, but depended on walkthroughs and help on Discord -- which didnt help me learn so to speak.

It's okay to ask for help. But you have to honestly give it your best effort first. Don't ask for a nudge right away. This goes for any offsec cert imo

definitely agree on your point about videos being helpful sometimes. I feel like people have a knee jerk negative reaction sometimes when video training is brought up. I read all the time and when I’m trying to solve a problem I can definitely spend hours reading technical manuals, blogs, and white papers. However if I am trying to do something for the first time being able to physically watch someone do it really helps me tie the steps together. And I feel like it isn’t that crazy to want some videos when paying a rather large amount for a training.

You’re very inspiring and a great speaker. I’m almost done with my B.S. in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance at WGU. As soon I finish with my degree I want to take the PJPT exam and then study for the OSCP this next year.
Keep up the good work and I plan on doing cybersecurity videos next year too. If you have discord or if you have some free time I’d love to ask you some questions.

I'll always give you the truth. I'm not going to act like the cert exam was a walk in the park for me when it really wasn't. Thanks for watching and commenting.

tbh this exam is quite tricker and there's alot of rabbit holes which you could stumbled upon. Personally I passed oscp in one try but oswa in second try.... The exam was hard and challenging

Yeah It stumped me more than OSCP! I definitely underestimated it going in! Never underestimate an OffSec exam, I learned the hard way. Thanks for watching and commenting!

Congratulations!! Do you think OSCP is needed prior to OSWA?

OSCP before OSWA is a huge help because it gets you used to the OffSec environment, but definitely not needed. OSWA and OSCP are two different skill sets. There is some overlap, but not much IMO.
