      That’s a dumb argument. The highest paid superintendent in Texas makes $536,775 in a district with 7,697 teachers. If you were to take every dollar the superintendent’s salary and divide it up among all of the teachers, that’s less than $70 per teacher for an entire year.

      But more importantly, let’s take your scenario as fact. Even in your scenario of a superintendent making $250,000 in a district with 300 teachers, if you took every dollar of that money and gave it to the teachers, that is around $833 per year for each teacher, which works out to $70 a month. @@patrickmccarthy6798you should try talking to some teachers, or your kids if you have them…
      There’s a shortage because of low pay, most schools have open position all this school year, and they’re vacant for a reason, it’s not that there’s no people to be teachers, there’s no money in the systems to offer decent pay… in my country the average school has had 3 positions available per grade level k-12 and special ed, these positions literally pay $18k for anyone with minimum experience and qualifications, and up to $22.5k if you have a masters ( minimum qualification is one year of school, but many schools suspended that policy and will hire these positions out to anyone currently enrolled to be a teacher, they’re even over “semi permanent” position to substitute teachers, in my state that requires a background check only)
      18k bro… that’s not a career, you can walk in and store or restaurant and make more than that… good thing they’re not doing the most important job around

They think Teader joes and whole foods should come to their neighbors goods so they can spend their EBT cards. The public system has an agenda few would agree with but alas parents don’t know nor ask what their children are being taught. Keep your kids home and get your money. Ask for your money back. you I’ll have plenty left over to educate your children, your property, properly and sell the way you see fit. . They are not learning anything anyway. I’m sure in most districts people are glad to go. These same districts will be begging for teachers again. If I had a college-aged child thinking about teaching, I would do my best to dissuade them from doing it. The priorities in these Where I’m from in NJ, you have some teachers making 100K to teach at schools in the hood or with poor test results. Ineffective teachers who teach for 30 years are retiring with 6 figure pensions! Yet the schools are in disarray or ran down. I’m sorry, no teacher should be making 6 figures. Principals and administrators making 200-300K. Get rid of them first before teachers. While I think teacher pay needs to be higher in other states, NJ and other states are paying these people too much in my opinion.

    • @excitingtimes-hh2bu
      @excitingtimes-hh2bu 10 дней назад +1

      Yes! Thank you for saying something. The migrant program was actually started for migrant workers and their children. Today, illegals are brought in under the migration education policy, suck the money out of the program and other areas. Migrant programs were developed to help a very small group with education, food, community out reach and in some cases housing. With illegals coming into the school system under the act in mass numbers school districts are drowning. This has been going on for years and nobody is talking about it. I have seen this firsthand. An illegal student enters the school and receives one-on-one instruction from multiple teaching staff, SPED programs, and counselors. While the children who need one one-on-one instruction are pushed to the side due to not enough staff. Districts are letting this happen ofcouse because they receive extra funding for every illegal student they take in.

    China understands that education is one of the most important services a central government can provide, as it boosts both the well being of its citizenry and its economy. This is why China is working on plans to provide universal free education as well as health care.
    In the US, the MIC does not require the gov't to provide educational services, because it can depend on its military to "educate" young people with war skills.
