@@RodolfoSalido yes get it upgrade it with friction shifters, wider bar and shorter stem ( not too short) tires and you will have an awesome bike . I would know I've had this done to a trek 730. Took it from 7 speed to 8 speed without changing shifters or rd / fd. or chain ( 7 and 8 speed use the same chain) Now I am going to go to 10 speed 11x36 and only thing I needed to purchase was a cassette and chain Watch for upcoming video on my channel
just a detail: when you connect the cable to the brakes, it should be pushed behind the ‘notch’ so the line under the letter A aligns with the line of the cantilever bridge. Looks good on the rear brake (6:01) but not 100% OK on the front (6:12).
Yeah, I know. I noticed that during video editing. Sometimes when you're simultaneously recording a video, you might forget to do everything right. Thanks for the feedback!
Hi! How much would a bike like that cost? I'm planning to buy the same model, also restorated, would like to know if the prise is reasonable Thanks in advance!
@aksnk I meant I'm planning to buy a fully refurbished bike. According to the photos it looks really good, I would also check it in person, but assuming it's good, is 500 euro a fair price?
Nice editing work! Very satisfying to watch. Got me real excited for my second project that will be stripped to the frame.
Thank you so much! Best of luck with your project!
Lovely work
I've got this same bike showing up on my FB Marketplace right now. Tempted!
Same, but on local Craigslist. The one I’m looking at needs a lot of work though…
Get it. It’s an amazing bike. Top of the line at the time.

Another beautiful restoration 🤙🏼
Glad you like it
Nice. Those Trek fade colorways always look great.
Agreed!
Nice work! I just picked one up myself.
Good choice!
Great job . Love the colour of that bike.
Thanks 👍
Lovely polishing 👍👍
Thank you! Cheers!

It depends on the condition of your bike. In my case I spent under $20

@@bikeheritage классный 👍
5:41 Very common amateur mistake. shifter will work harder.
yt should have a warning label for amateurs .
In my case a label stating that I’m an amateur is not needed, it’s already evident from the conditions I work in😆
