    I haven’t watched the full video yet by Pinkard and Bowden “I Lobster but never flounder” shoud be on there but they have a lot of funny ones. Also George Jones “The last thing I gave her was the bird”

    Johnny Paycheck"Take This Job and Shove It" Johnny used to play at our local Honky Tonk and this song hit the charts. Never heard of him playing The Cotton Club again although he may have.

    I think you would like to listen to a singer named Brian Burns.
    His song Welcome To Texas sums up texas attitude toward tourists.
    He also has a story song titled Gallo de Ciello. One of his most stirring though is his reading of The Travis Letter from the Alamo.
    Burns has many songs about Texas. I think you would really like them. Please give it a try.

Have you ever listened to "Old Shep" Elvis covered it but I believe Tex Ritter or Red Foley wrote it circa 1930 something.
