Wait, did she actually stop ?
@@acarroll6842 good one. when's your next gig?
@@c3swift Steve's not gonna fuck you bro

Colion Noir clapped your boy up
The way she was laughing sounded like she was getting ready to go try kill Batman after the show
“You see, Bat-Steve, I’m going to push you into a vat of liquid Sertaline! AHAHAHAHAMWAHAHWEHEGEGEHEHE”
Someone brought a dammed kookabura to the show.
I was at the show, and the laugh was like that the entire time. At one point, Jon Bander stopped his set and told everyone to give our best witches laugh.
The end felt like the air traffic controller in _Airplane._ "Looks like I picked the wrong day to quit sniffing glue."
Her laugh 😂😂😂
That’s clearly a cackle. 😄
People should come with warning labels too.
They do. Imagine you were on a first date with her.
She defeated Steve there for a moment. That's an accomplishment in a way.
Yea, her cackle was very hypnotic.
@@CorbCorbinI don't know if hypnotic would be the word I would choose.
@CorbCorbin I was at this show and it was so annoying that the whole audience almost threw her out
@andreachristensen8287 not surprised
I don't think a psychotic break counts as defeating him...
This is fantastic and terrifying at the same time. Sometimes a comedian might hit my funny button and I might lose it like this person.
Sertraline is an anti-depressant, not anti-anxiety medication. It can reduce anxiety but that's not its main purpose. I take it for my depression and an anti-anxiety medication for my anxiety bc I have to. She either needs to have both, or she's been misdiagnosed bc the state has shite mental health facilities and providers to start with, especially in Medford (I know from experience)
Anti-depressant and anti-anxiety are roughly the same thing. In 90% of cases, they can be used interchangeably, albeit requiring different quantities. I take Venlafaxine Riva for anxiety despite it being an anti-depressant and it's working fine.
More than likely she shouldn't be drinking while on her meds.
Or, her doc decided to prescribe her a med for "off lable" usage, like they do all the time! Fuckin docs gave me serequill as a damn "sleep aid" for insomnia 😂 it's also a psych med that I 100% didn't need.. but, it did make me sleep !
@@mikefrost1312 I was put onto Seroquel for a while for sleeping, and when I got a new GP he was pretty miffed at that fact due to the side effects it was starting to put on me! Off-label usage is sketch as all hell
No, Sertraline absolutely can be used for anxiety. Just because it was prescribed for you as an antidepressant and it doesn't work for your own anxiety doesn't mean she was given the wrong med or misdiagnosed. What doesn't work for one person might work miracles for another. Please don't spread misinformation about mental health treatment.
She may be from Medford, but she belongs in Betty Ford.
Have you been there? There's a reason their nickname is Methford. The whole town needs to go. I can't blame her for that part.
The crazy laughter purposefully getting louder and way more forced is the real crazy part.
I was suppose to go to this show!!!! Now I am sad I missed a heckler!!!
1:09 the joker is back
IKR? Mark Hamill, somewhere, is afraid of ever getting another voice acting gig in the DC universe because of this.
"This is the last one?"
"...Yeah..."
(Until the next last one...)
OMG that laugh! You are a much more patient person than I will ever be, Steve. Yikes. Impressive performance! ♥
Her random outbursts reminds me of people I know with Tourettes. "Random outbursts" or a tic disorder. There are several tic disorders.
She definitely appeared to have an impulse control issue. Hope she is ok.
You have to have a pretty distinctive laugh for it to get a stand up comedian's attention 😂
Seems like she was having a manic episode of some sort. Sertraline is no joke tbh.
I have taken sertraline for like 8 years for anxiety. This sounds more like she's NOT taking her medications.
@@SharkyLunasaurustbh, I only commented because I’ve been on it three years for depression. I could kinda see what you’re saying but I think either could be true. Either she just started or she just stopped…
It could also be that alcohol does not mix well with it for her, and she is just about to find out.
I hope you’re well and have your anxiety tamed a bit.
@@kittiecommittee139 that's possible, I know it can really affect people poorly if they just stop taking it.
I'm doing well thanks :3
you were right, we wanted blood but i have to admit that you handled that well.
I’m from Medford and you have my sincerest apologies. I wish I could have been there to support you but my health prevented me from being able to attend comfortably. I hop this doesn’t dissuade you from returning.
If I ever went to one of your shows, I would LOVE for you to roast me. But, at the same time, I would never derail your show. That's just bad form.
I was legit a bit scared for Steve. When that person says, "she really likes you", I was like NO! No for Steve! Please like him a lot less. For his and all our safety. I thought she might go "You're my boyfriend now" on Steve and then quick flash forward to Misery scene with him being shackled to a bed with his ankles broken. 😬
"The point is...I'm trying to be nicer to people." 😁😁
You're too smart for that: do better. 😂😂
Like chum, in the water, she were…
You've discovered your #1 FAN(atic)😉👍👍
It shows, Steve. It shows
i would love to be that high at least once in my life :-(
but not in public
@@iaclassic I generally like to avoid being in public, but I definitely cannot deal with it sober...
That's definitely not the same type of anxiety I have.
Sounded like she had an attack right then and there
Omg that laugh...
Right!! I think it’s annoying as fuck!
Bro I think she is from Oz, not Medford
she sounds like Diamanda Galas
The difference being that diamanda galas is both art and mother
She laughs like I do.
I am never that inappropriate though.
Always one person has sound like a fire alarm
lol this was amazing.
That’s audience participation for you ? 🥴😂😂❤️
It's not a participatory sport.
@@notsure1969 there’s a lot of people who attend his gigs who seem to be risk takers and think otherwise…
Dont judge oregon based on medford...we dont claim it.
I love Steve and I love his comedy and these clips, but I can't help but wonder if not posting these clips, except for the actual Q&A portion, is at least a partial solution to getting rid of the idiots. That and being more strict on throwing people out. You want to waste your money, fine, but everyone else there shouldn't have to.
Thinnest skinned comedian anywhere.
@stevehofstetter I am seriously impressed by how you have built a career in venues that are essentially bars with a stage. You have managed to make a career out of making people look foolish by "talking" over your jokes. However, it is not because they are rude, but because you are not funny. If you had good jokes, your audience would be captivated. Instead, it seems that as soon as you have a bit of power over people, you cannot help but abuse it. This is why you will never progress beyond being a heckler comedian.
I’m gonna be in Charlotte, but I leave on the 7/23 going back to Kona! Oy
So is it Harley Quinn or the female version of Joker?
Those are the same thing...
Laughter like a witch from Oz 😂
There is an episode of Seinfeld where Kramer takes a date to one of Jerry's shows. She acts just like this. Crazy laughter, unhinged comments "That's true! That's so true!", etc. Finally Jerry shows up at her job and heckles her. She runs off and a street sweeper cuts off her pinky toe.
Steve, you're not supposed to take the expression "kill them with laughter" literally.
At least she's polite compared to the other hecklers
Sertraline is a mood lifter and enhancer. The maximum daily dose is 200mg daily and is never to be taken with alcohol. She's high, not just odd. Hence, the hysterical laughing.
You can’t get high from sertraline. If she mixed it with alcohol, she would just feel the effects of the alcohol more intensely.
Sooooooo Medford!
