So much of this stuff is hard to tell if it is actually Romanian or Hungarian. I guess very similar cultures.

it is neither Romanian nor Hungarian. is Transylvanian. there are always debates on this topic, but many do not want to understand that music and dance do not evolve separately in a region. but there are certain characteristics of the Romanian, Hungarian or Gypsy style. however, gypsies were musicians almost all the time. In the past, the profession of musician was only done by gypsies, I refer strictly to the basic profession through which he earns his living.
