Far cry from a restoration,more like a cleaning and a bit of polishing the covers.... Bearings hammered in aluminium without preheating it,didn't saw any montage oil on any part,any check at least at the piston rings and so on.... I apreciate the elbow grease work but you can't call that a restoration🤷🏼♂️
Nice job, thank you for the video. I just purchased a 1973 Planeta 3 and the bottom end is seized. Luckily top end looks great. Gasket sets still available, which is a surprise. I will pull the engine and do a rebuild. Out of curiosity, is there a top head gasket? Or just the base one? What looks like a spark plug hole on the right, is that for the decompression valve?

on the left cover of crankcase there is a control screw of level of oil.
