  • Testing a Seymour Duncan Seth Lover pickup, after wax potting it and, after substituting the stock magnet with an AlNiCo 8 Roughcast magnet.
The idea was to remove microphonics feedback (not completely removed because of wrong wax composition used) and, to increase the output of the pickup while maintaining its original tone the most as possible.
    Guitar:
Epiphone Firebird (not well setup, still)
    Pickups:
    2 x Seymour Duncan SM-1 Firebird Mini-humbuckers
1 x Seymour Duncan SH-55 Seth Lover (potted and with RC-A8 magnet)
    Amp:
    Marshall 1923C 85th Anniversary Combo
    Classic / Crunch channel
    Effect Pedals:
    Wampler Decibel+ Buffer (always on)
Strymon El Capistan Tape Echo Delay (always on)
Weehbo Dumbledore Overdrive (for bluesy test)
Weehbo Bastard Distortion (for hi-gain test)
