@@masters.1000 Nah I would say it's the other way around, it goes from 2010-2019. Why else would we be doing the all decade team in 2019 and not include 2020? Plus, 2020 literally has a "2" in the decade spot of the year, whereas 2010 has a "1", which means it's the start of a new decade.

By their parameters, it would technically be Jan 1st 2010 to Dec. 31, 2019. So his was a fair question.
That's actually a good question. I've seen many lists focused on certain decades and they would start, for example, 2011-2020 as opposed to 2010-2020.
This is a tough one because Kobe was only really a great player from 2010-2013 until his injury. afterwards he wasnt even close to an all star caliber player.

Yes the argument with Harden and Kobe is closer than a lot of people think. Obviously, Hardens prime is in the 2010s and he was traded away to shine on the Rockets while Kobe already had played double digit seasons by the late 2000s and by the 2010s, he was on his last legs.
There’s literally not one elite center of this decade.. I would consider Anthony Davis but he didn’t achieve much, maybe Dwight cause he was great on Orlando but declined at houston.

Kobe was 00-09. He may have 7 all-stars in 10-19, but they were basically on his past legacy. Three of those seasons were destroyed by injuries and he was starting to fade before that. Only title in 10. I would've gone Curry, Lebron, Durant, Paul, and Howard. People forget how good dwight howard was. And he's still in the league.

So name a better center from 2010 to 2019 or 2011 to 2020 (they never did find what decade meant to them). How was good scorer, defender, and rebounder and he won on every team he ever played for. He certainly wasn't good enough to make any all time lists but there wasn't A lot of good center play in that decade.
Unless you're going to give it to guys who were good in the previous decade and then play a few years into it.
Marc Gasol should've been in the conversation for Center. He didn't put big numbers up like Howard and Cousins but he obviously made his team better, he's had deep Playoff runs, won the championship in 2019, and former DPOY.

Decades should really be counted from 1 to 10, seeing as there was no "Year 0". But we count them 0-9 more often and I guess there's nothing wrong with that
