1. What austerity did Gopi see the Lord Krishna beauty form in Vrindavan. Austerity, birth or education are not the qualifications to see Krishna. Only love and devotion is required to see Krishna form.
Austerity means voluntarily accepting inconvenience for higher purpose.
In Vrindavan there are two types of Gopis Nitya siddha and Sadhana Siddha.
Two types of Sadha Siddha gopi
1. Srutichari gopi - personified vedas done some sadhana or practised bhakti yoga to become Gopi.
2. Rishi chari gopi - Lord Rama blessed sages of Naimisharanya to become Gopi in Krishna lila . Inotherwords Sages done some sadhana to become Gopi.
2 6 features of Lord Krishna's form
a) Lavanya saram - essence of all loveliness
b) asamordhvam - No other beauty is equal or superior to Krishna's beauty
c) ananya Siddham - Krishna form us naturally beautiful and it is not attained by any process
Gopis are pure Krishna consciousness due to that thry alone appreciate beauty form of Krishna. When our bhakti is weak then we cannot relish the Krishna's beauty and chant holyname.
d) drgbhih pibanty anusavabhinavam - Krishna's beauty will never bores us. Everytime gopis see krishna as newer and newer fresh way. Every monent they see Krishna as new aspects of beauty and sweetness are reflected.
e) durapam - very rarely attainable- Krishna's form is not attained by Karma, Jnana , Yoga, and Austerity
f) ekanta dhama ysasah sria aisvarasya - Krishna's form is the abode of all opulences
Related verse - Madhya lila 21.113 and 114
1. Youth form of Krishna is like ocean of nectar
2. Youth form of Krishna is like a wave since Krishna has performed many past times
3. On seeing the beauty form of Lord, ecstatic emotions jave been arises from the heart of Gopis
4. Krishna's flute is like a whirl wind . Gopis heart compared with dry leaves or grass, so that rise up in the sky similarly Gopis heart attracted by Krishna's flute
5. Fill our eyes with beauty form of Lord then our entire birth, body and mind become glorious or fortunate
Material beauty agitates the mind and inspires you to enjoy it by acquiring it or exploiting it
Spiritual beauty will become attract to it but not enjoying it and try to serve it ( become satisfied or pacified)
Form of Krishna will give 3 things
1. Creation of spiritual desires
2. Maintenance of spiritual desires
3. Fulfillment of spiritual desires
And material desires will go away..
