the 100% unplugged performances are kinda limited to 500-1000 people, otherwise the people in the back will have trouble hearing the lyrics.
The bagpipes have mics as well . . The drums, too. All of the instruments :)
The sound is not modified through the mixer though. u get the sound that gets picked up on the mic back over the speakers without any funny business.
They use microphones what does not change the sound just make it louder that all people can hear
