      That $30/hr doing track prep may actually hold you back, taking your time, instead of focusing on where you want to go - really depends on your speed of work and how much you like it .

  • @bigchefkoch1
    @bigchefkoch1 4 года назад +3

    Yes, but that only works if the person doing the mix prep is paid significantly less than you. In your example, the 40 hours of mix prep are compensated with 1500$, which means they earn 37.5$/h while you to get 350$/h

    • @RzOh92
      @RzOh92 4 года назад +2

      yep. yaaaay for capitalism... on the other hand- most people don't get paid by their boss $37.50 per hour.

    Nice video makes a lot of sense.I am a newbie with a simple homestudio in my living room,which means no loud drums,Reaper,Vsts, focusrite, guitars and bass, i use superior drummer,so im not sure if there is even a demand for such a studio like i have?im going to do some free work recording a singer since I am A new and B need some singer on my tracks. But anyways your business principles,strategies are good and logical. Thanks for any advice!-:)

    • @6FigureCreative
      @6FigureCreative  6 лет назад +4

      It goes without saying that there's a TON that goes into being able to charge $5,000 to mix an album. The good news is this sort of "systemization and delegation" approach works at all sorts of income levels. You may be able to use it to go from $10/hr to $30/hr (which is still solid).
      That being said, if you're currently making $2.12/hr, then you may want to focus on other things in your business before trying to implement what I teach in this video. I'll have future videos that will be helpful in your situation!

      The Six Figure Home Studio
      I tend to use a lot of time in experimentation. Like creating and testing new drum samples and layering them in new ways. Also I use 80 percent of the time editing, organizing and file managing. Only 5-10 percent I use for mixing, and that's the one thing I love the most. I've tried outsourcing editing twice, both times went south, so I feel the need to do it all by myself.

    what if I do the assistants jobs for you remotely in my studio at 1000$? and other works like producing sounds you like, and other sound engineering stuff?
    I'm living in third world country my expenses due to the economics is very lower in your city but I have the same equipment (give or take) and many talented audio engineers, I can compete with the prices and quality but I have the struggles of working remotely and building the reputation and connection.
    what is your opinion on such a model? what you would do if you were me and had such a situation ?

    Which artists did you work with that pay that type of money? Seems awfully steep unless you are absolutely amazing and have a great reputation. A channel with 4K subs based on the promises of big money isn't really the proof I would be looking if I wanted to spend $300 /h

    It’s you are making so much money with your studio work WHY IN THE WORLD are you wasting time, our most valuable asset, making RUclips videos? How many views per hour is $350? Answer - way more than views than your getting..

    • @eskee1
      @eskee1 4 года назад

      He may not need the money now but it could solidify him as an authority on the subject on RUclips... not everyone goes after the biggest money sometimes people kick back and stack small money over time (the people that introduced taxes know that)

    • @hackdog69

      @Sebastian Giordano it’s called B.S.
      this video took way more than an hour to make and he has not made $350 on it in two years
      It takes 500,000 views for $350
