I have a tip that's been working pretty well for me. Don't use your mystery shards at all. Every time I see a market refresh buy every uncommon champ you see itl will usually be about 2/3 per page and you can completely skip leveling common champs because by the time u do champion training your food stock will be all 2s and you still didn't touch your shards for when you really need em for an event.
Ash - you forgot to uncheck the top box in multi-battle to have the battles stop when your champions reach max level. I have wasted many battles and got no XP by leaving that top box checked.
1:30 quick summoning/tavern tip, for mobile users with a back button you can open the shards then press the back button and skip the animation entirely. Never thought about that brew strat for the lv1s very helpful for energy. 9:17 it is also a good idea to make sure your sets of 3s are the same star sometimes it keeps the lower ones in when they didnt need xp for me (might just be the last set but still wasted xp )
What I always did to farm xp for champions I planned to start using was set them on Minotaur final level with two or three of my main champions who had max scrolls already, so they got XP AND scrolls en masse
TIP for really early players in Arena - When I have a 5 coin / 10 coin bonus sat waiting to be claimed and it is near to expiry I will lose some fights to clear space so I don't lose the coins. By losing enough I can also pop back to the previous band. That is an instant refresh of the list of available fights. When a had a bunch of bonuses burning a hole in my pocket I would lose back down, see there were some easy fights, lose enough first so the last easy fight popped me back up. If the higher list had no easy fights, I'd lose once more and check another lower list. That let me farm the Arena some with a very light weight dumb team.
Another great tip is during Champion training events, level the food being sacrificed about halfway before ranking up, that way you get a bunch of extra points in the events/tournaments
If you are ftp and are doing fusions, please save your mystery shards for summon rush and your brews for champ training. Another thing: I make any 6 star that needs to be levelled to 60 my campaign farmer. It might not be the fastest way, but it is the most energy efficient way to run campaign. When doing auto battles u get to put 3 champs in at a time so 18 is the most u want to run or ull have one lvled champ taking up space when the last 2 come in
I do something very similar. I use 15 one stars to take the 16th one star to lvl 10. I save my brews for champion training events. I have never run out of Mystery shards so I don't fret over using up some.
Same, I can't even beat the first floor. I feel like this guide is how to farm so so easy if you already farm so easy I beat the campaign brutal, I'm lvl 40 or so and I only have kael 60, four 50s and a bunch of 40s. I have neither the gems nor the energy to do what he says in the video

Love this video, one thing if you use dungeons to farm xp, you will be hurting when you get to the end of the month and you need your 500 campaign runs done. Nothing like being 2 days from a sacred and you need 350 campaign runs left
Brutal 12-3 or 12-6. Leveling 2-stars to level 20 takes 10 runs on both of them with Exp Boost. Use 12-3. Leveling 3-stars to level 30 takes 24 runs on 12-3 but 23 runs on 12-6 with Exp Boost, so use 12-6.

I've been playing this game every day for 2 months straight, I have used most of these methods and have 6 level 60's and only today did I learn that there is a Hero Queue. I've been doing it all manually. Thank you so much for this video it has changed my whole world.
What’s the point of food instead of just grinding out the champion especially with the elixirs? I gridded a few two stars for food and they sacrifice for almost no xp at the tavern compared to the xp of just grinding the champion. Am I doing something wrong? Or by “food” does it just mean it’s like a stock for when you get the next star on your champion and they go to level one?
When campaign farming I do groups of 18 so I don't waste 1 spot on my last rotations. It adds up over time. 3spots open÷ 18 equals 6 equal groups when doing same level

Will say that tip 1 is not viable to most players because in order to use silver keys you have to beat the first boss which not many can do let alone make it to the boss. Great video though.
I don’t use up my green Mystery Shards, I save them BECAUSE: It’s easy to save thousands, and sometimes summoning 4,000 mystery shards is enough to get me the final rewards in a summon event 385)87 needing to spend more money on a few higher shards

I prefer 10-3 but I need two champions to make it through quickly. None of my champs can wipe out all three waves of enemies with one hit. I also typically start with rare champions that suck which is most of them. This is one of the rare times I didn't learn anything new. BTW experience isn't split among the winners. All non maxed champs receive the same experience boost regardless of how many participate. So I don't understand what you were referring to on that topic.
Pulling 1000 Mystery Shards for an event, I realize its a waste to pour Exp on 1* and 2* champs to rank up. All Brews and all Fodders should go into highest rank available to level up. 4* primarily, and 3* when no 4* is available. Rarely will no 3* be available.
Here's where Awaken gets things right (one of the few things). They don't have any wasted XP. Your farmer doesn't absorb XP. ALL of it gets returned to you as XP jelly. Plarium should do this, it's fair.
Yo so I think there's a bug, because when I lose the secret room battles, it doesn't consume my keys. I know I don't have the capabilities to beat the first secret room so I tried just wasting the keys to get the brews but it didn't even remove keys.

Buying exp boost is such a waste, do something else and plan around when you do have the exp boost. Remember, it took Ash three months (a 4-5 day job) to get rank six on his starter on the F2P account, not the best advice here.

I can’t believe nobody knew about the queue? Does nobody use multi-battles? I’ve been playing for about 2 years and knew the queue existed lol. Also a lot of people are saying uncheck the box that says “stop multi-battle when champs are maxed level” I personally don’t do that because it won’t continue through with the queue list I’ve tried and it did not work plus it’s not that difficult to just pay attention every now in then unless you are doing this while sleeping which I wouldn’t recommend either lol
Honestly, I didn't know about that queueing system. Neat! I don't tend to auto farm XP when sleeping. When I'm farming XP, I might set up for X amount of fights, but I never take them to max level. Say they are working their way up to 30, I'll stop them at 29, stick those at 29 into the guardian ring sparring pit, then take in other champs into whatever I'm running for XP with energy. Is this method a bad thing?
It’s okay if they’re close and you can move them as soon as they level. Generally it’s more efficient to put higher star level champs in. At default sparring pit level, a 1-star gets 2,000 xp/hr, but a 4-star gets 2,300 and a 5 gets 2,400. So a lot of people put 4-star “chickens” in to work toward making their next 6-star. At higher levels it can be 16 hours or more for a level, so they can level while you sleep and not have to worry about hitting the cap.
Hey Ash, if you are low on brews, or are like me and tend to dump them to fast level champions i've made 6-star, i have an alternative way that i use to level my 1-stars: to get 1-stars to level 10 in campaign, you have to run them 3 times at 12-3 brutal. however, assuming you have 100% bonus xp and either the raid card or forge pass (you only need one of them), you can run all your 1 star champions through once to get them to level 7, then run 2 at a time instead of 3 to get them to level 10. this means you're spending 40 energy per batch of 6 champions, instead of 48 energy; in other words, 20% less energy. very good for optimizing your energy during champion training events. running all your 1-stars through once before feeding them to make 2-stars also gives you 18 tournament/event points for 8 energy, which is not bad. so in order to make 6 2-star champions, i run 12 champions through 12-3 brutal once, then two at a time for another 6 of them. that means i'm getting 120 tournament/event points for the cost of 56 energy. (90 for getting 6 to level 10 and 6 to level 7) in other words 2.14 points per energy using this methood. the drawback of this methood is that you can't just turn on multi-battle and leave it, but for some earlier game players that may be struggling to get the rewards they want from the events/tournaments, this is a very nice way of squeezing every point you can out of your energy.
That's exactly what I do. Plus, instead of using a brew which costs silver, I'd rather just get the artifact from the fights and sell them to get more silver.
Once you have 2x +10% unlocked in the Forge Pass you can even do 2 runs of 6-3 Brutal for leveling up 3 level 1 champs, very nice for the money bonus. For that you need XP boost, forge pass and raid Pass tho
A fast Commander in reflex gear is healing 2/3 of turns and is great until you replace with Chancellor Yasmin. There are other great uncommon champions too. Saurus and shieldguard are both great. Don't sleep on Satyr either, using him in fw21.

Put it somewhere all the time...BECAUSE Most of us don't know them the way some of you upper lvl guys do. Sometimes when you bring them up by clicking in the faction list they are even behind your head. It's a crazy struggle for us on this end to rewind every one after your discussion to try to pause on the exact nanosecond when you click to open them. Hey Ash, just letting you know, man, when I'm food farming, I have found it more efficient to do 9 multibattles at a time when leveling up 2-star champions, 23 for 3-star and over 40 battles for 4 and more stars! I hope this helps you guys.
I'd recommend only putting 18 in the que not 20 to be more efficient with energy. As your levelling 3 at at time and 3 goes into 18 not 20, otherwise whilst levelling that last 2 your wasting 50% exp per battle
Here's another tip if you farming 12-6 brutal. Upgrade ur uncommon champs with 2 common champs in the tavern then it takes 9 battles to upgrade them to 20 instead of 10 battles saving u energy on the last level.

12-6 is best if you're doing 3* champions as you save a run compared to 12-3. It's 23 runs for a 3* to level 30.

i have used 100 brews with wrong color. I saved the red because i noticed it having more exp gained, so now i have 60 of these left.... XD
i also que in groups of 3 so that last batch isnt 2 max lvl and 2 needing lvl so i only que 18 that way i dont waste energy

Say they are working their way up to 30, I'll stop them at 29, stick those at 29 into the guardian ring sparring pit, then take in other champs into whatever I'm running for XP with energy. Is this method a bad thing?
It’s okay if they’re close and you can move them as soon as they level. Generally it’s more efficient to put higher star level champs in. At default sparring pit level, a 1-star gets 2,000 xp/hr, but a 4-star gets 2,300 and a 5 gets 2,400. So a lot of people put 4-star “chickens” in to work toward making their next 6-star. At higher levels it can be 16 hours or more for a level, so they can level while you sleep and not have to worry about hitting the cap.
Hey Ash, if you are low on brews, or are like me and tend to dump them to fast level champions i've made 6-star, i have an alternative way that i use to level my 1-stars:
to get 1-stars to level 10 in campaign, you have to run them 3 times at 12-3 brutal.
however, assuming you have 100% bonus xp and either the raid card or forge pass (you only need one of them), you can run all your 1 star champions through once to get them to level 7, then run 2 at a time instead of 3 to get them to level 10. this means you're spending 40 energy per batch of 6 champions, instead of 48 energy; in other words, 20% less energy.
very good for optimizing your energy during champion training events. running all your 1-stars through once before feeding them to make 2-stars also gives you 18 tournament/event points for 8 energy, which is not bad.
so in order to make 6 2-star champions, i run 12 champions through 12-3 brutal once, then two at a time for another 6 of them.
that means i'm getting 120 tournament/event points for the cost of 56 energy. (90 for getting 6 to level 10 and 6 to level 7)
in other words 2.14 points per energy using this methood.
the drawback of this methood is that you can't just turn on multi-battle and leave it, but for some earlier game players that may be struggling to get the rewards they want from the events/tournaments, this is a very nice way of squeezing every point you can out of your energy.
That's exactly what I do. Plus, instead of using a brew which costs silver, I'd rather just get the artifact from the fights and sell them to get more silver.
Once you have 2x +10% unlocked in the Forge Pass you can even do 2 runs of 6-3 Brutal for leveling up 3 level 1 champs, very nice for the money bonus. For that you need XP boost, forge pass and raid Pass tho
You’re sleeping on the uncommon “commander” from banner lords ash! She’s huge for faction wars in my stage 21 team
A fast Commander in reflex gear is healing 2/3 of turns and is great until you replace with Chancellor Yasmin.
There are other great uncommon champions too.
Saurus and shieldguard are both great.
Don't sleep on Satyr either, using him in fw21.
Elfguard is another great uncommon with 50% turn meter reduction

Put it somewhere all the time...BECAUSE Most of us don't know them the way some of you upper lvl guys do. Sometimes when you bring them up by clicking in the faction list they are even behind your head. It's a crazy struggle for us on this end to rewind every one after your discussion to try to pause on the exact nanosecond when you click to open them. Hey Ash, just letting you know, man, when I'm food farming, I have found it more efficient to do 9 multibattles at a time when leveling up 2-star champions, 23 for 3-star and over 40 battles for 4 and more stars! I hope this helps you guys.

I'd recommend only putting 18 in the que not 20 to be more efficient with energy. As your levelling 3 at at time and 3 goes into 18 not 20, otherwise whilst levelling that last 2 your wasting 50% exp per battle

Still to much bullshit for me, just want a f2p game where all I have to level is one character at a time.
Here's another tip if you farming 12-6 brutal. Upgrade ur uncommon champs with 2 common champs in the tavern then it takes 9 battles to upgrade them to 20 instead of 10 battles saving u energy on the last level.
