Hello Scott's Team, the Mainboard has similarities to AT-6666pro and President Washington, if I interpret that correctly. Why does the 955HPC+ have 120Watt @SSB and not 80W like the two similar devices? Greetings Armin , Heidelberg/Germany
It's typically going to be the same DSP noise reduction. You either prefer it or you don't. There's lots of other options for external DSP filtering with a speaker that you can choose. Some sometimes digitally processing doesn't make the human voice as enjoyable to hear, so listening to the noise can be the other option.
@marksutton8504 I would recommend more a standalone filter unit and then use your own speaker. West mountain radio makes a really good one. It's called CLRdsp.
@ScottsRadios I have a couple of those west mountain radio dsp speakers and they're great with my icom but won't play nice with my president Lincoln or even my 148gtl. Those speakers have been out of stock for about 2 years now, I'm starting to think they're never coming back in stock. ☹️☹️
@Tinman386wisconsin mine is not the speaker it's a standalone device and you plug your own speaker into it. They are hard to get, for sure. I ordered one from Ham Radio outlet in Milwaukee and waited about 8 months to get it.
I got it fired up and it is working fantasticly. Thanks for another great radio!
That's great to hear!

I've seen 100+ PEP on SSB.
So far there's no issues with heat whatsoever due to the large heat sink on the back.
How does it do on 11meters?

Nice
I have the V2 and find the NR is lacking! I see Stryker improved the NR to NRC. Could you demo the NRC?

@ What DPS filter with speaker would you recommend?
