    Another plus for this boat is the ease of entry for those wading those flats. Especially, important for those geezers like me. Your rig is well thought out and enables a variety of anglers to enjoy the day safely and comfortbly. I look forward to my next day on the water with you.

    Looking to purchase my first boat. Wanting to fish the south padre bay. Been looking at used Dargel boats. Would like recommendations on size of boat. I’d like it to be able to fish with my father and two brothers.

    I went from an illusion to a haynie cat its should be coming in soon hope i dont regret how shallow that illusion got

    • @slowrideguide
      @slowrideguide  Год назад +2

      Nothing runs as shallow as the illusion… It is in a class by itself

    • @redfish1289
      @redfish1289 Год назад +2

      @SlowrideGuide yeah i would float in mud somehow. But ive heard the haynie cats can get pretty shallow but i just need something that can handle chop more. The illusion was great till crossing any sort of chop

    • @slowrideguide
      @slowrideguide  Год назад +1

      @@redfish1289 no doubt there is a trade off…there is something out there for everybody but I deal with the chop for the benefit of floating in the shallows…the cat is a good combination of both

    Love the idea on replacing the trebles… what size hooks do you recommend as replacements? Thanks!

    How does it run in rough water? Thanks for the vid.

    • @slowrideguide
      @slowrideguide  Год назад +2

      It does great, but you have to choose your path sideways to the waves… You just can’t go crashing straight into rough water

    Would the flat cooler on the console right above skout 220 work as a platform to stand on for sight casting redfish?

    • @slowrideguide
