Yes, I believe cheating is not a good value to have. If you are unhappy, tell your partner and leave. If you believe cheating is appropriate in any commited relationship I hope you are upfront about that with your partners. They should know in case they had other ideas on what commitment means.

The issue is not whether relationships work out or not. Its about having consideration for the person you built a life with. Enough respect for the other to handle breaking things off in the right way to reduce the collateral damage of the "free choice" that person has.
