Now that I see this combination, I wish we got an expansion set to the 2020 D2C Diagon Alley set with a more-detailed version of Madam Malkin's and three other shops. It may be more affordable to get play-scale sets like these two than getting that D2C set, but I think that you get more value for your money by getting those two D2C Diagon Alley sets than getting these two sets, even though the D2C Diagon Alley set's price increased by $50, and Gringotts is $430. The best thing about the 2020 Diagon Alley set is that you have the option of making the four buildings face one another to make it look like an alleyway, which is something that these two play-scale sets lack. If we ever get Knockturn Alley or the Leaky Cauldron in the future, I would rather have them be D2C sets than play-scale sets to connect to both Gringotts and the D2C Diagon Alley set.
I feel these sets were meant for more interior focused. Also a balanced ascetic isn’t something isn’t really a think in this world. Things are going to look off and that’s just feels like more of that world.
The aesthetic point is definitely true - things should look a bit off-kilter in Harry Potter. But that's why the flatness bothers me, and I don't feel the interiors on Madam Malkin's and Ollivanders are up to the standard of Weasley's Wizard Wheezes.
I’ve been toying with getting these sets for a while now and might have to just take the plunge. They do look good together and being able to use figs inside is a huge plus! Thanks for the video!
Thanks for showing all the buildings side to side in different combinations! I think I prefer the first option even though the owl post's interior gets blocked when you flip the whole thing around. The buildings are definitely cute and I really appreciate smaller, more affordable sets but this will be a skip for me. The Hogwarts castle is a much more appealing location to me and I prefer the minifigs we'll get there. (Though I would happily say yes to a D2C Leaky Cauldron set one day.) Glad I got rid of that FOMO. Thanks again!
Hey ninja! That's pretty for me Important question! Im gonna buy those two sets at birthday,so and i made a Platform to put those sets at it Could you tell me how much meters is in longitude?
Hi @GoldenNinja3000 Thanks for this video! I am curious how these smaller 76422 and 76439 look combined with the big gringrotts set. If you are able and want to show that, that would be awesome :) On the internet so far, I have not come across anyone with that combination.
I would love to do a comparison between these builds and the D2C shops, but unfortunately I can't because my D2C Diagon Alley is in Michigan with the majority of my collection :(

I definitely want a D2C Borgin & Burkes and Madam Malkin's!
I put the Minalima books between them on my shelf, i guess we can call it depth😁

It’s a better alternative than the other one price wise.
