I love it. It’s so fun to see the piece in action after hearing you describe it. Love Toby! And what a joy to watch the care and time you put into each piece.
So glad to see you wearing a mask while sanding and painting!! Smart lady!! That old stereo cabinet turned out just beautiful!! I think I would line the interior with cedar and make it a quilt chest!
Great job Nicole. I was trying to figure out what you could use that for, then it hit me, especially where y'all live. Could be a blanket storage. Really neat idea. Again, great job.
Awesome Job Nicole! You really do some nice work! I wished you lived closer so I could get a couple things from you! I really like them! Thanks for sharing your life on the channel! You both make a great team with your business!
I enjoy watching your videos..You are very good at explaining the steps for your refinishing projects. Thanks! Good luck bouncing back from these crazy times we are experiencing.
Nicole and Chet, My family farms in northeast Ohio, and we all enjoy watching you and Chet together in your work shop, and on the farm. My dad is also a wood shop teacher during the day/ school season, so I really appreciate the amazing work you do on your furniture! I also have a few interesting ideas for you guys if you ever have a minute, and hopefully business picks up for you! God Bless to you and your family! - David Muresan Maple Lawn Farms
My back hurts watching this! Nice work on the cabinet, we put a table top on an old harbour freight motorbike lift as a height adjustable table for our woodshop!
You muliti task as a farmers wife . Being in a farm family isn't easy and planting season and harvest season is stressful enough add on bad weather and his long hours away from you it's a struggle for you as well . Chet and the guys must really enjoy the food and assistance with parts runs . It's always great to have extra income with a second job that you enjoy. Your furniture is very creative and probably is worth the extra work and time to upscale the old stuff into a new style . Nice video stay safe and productive my friend !
You make some very nice pieces!! You ladies do an important job on the farm. Lunch and parts running are very critical IMO!! And whatever else you do. I appreciate all my wife does as I farm also!! Enjoy your videos and the farms one also!
Nice piece Nicole. A lot of work went into creating the finished product. I must say its a very usefull piece of furniture now with multiple uses. As always job well done and a great video.I am so ready for this virus to go away as it seems like its been a eternity now. Thanks for doing these videos as they are very interesting along with being very informative. Take care till next time.
just started watching these over the last week or so and when i saw what happened, i was sad... :( such a sweet awesome girl.. and this video was before she even found out, :( sad to know a year from this video she would be gone..
Hey my beautiful friend that turned out awesomeI remember growing up as a kid my mom had one of those way bigger had the TV everything 8-track you name it heavy and she got rid of it years later I wish I still had it and I hope you guys are doing great and we will see you on the next one hun 💯🌹🌹❤️💪🏼👍🏼👍🏼👊🏼👊🏼
Great job on the cabinet will make a great storage area , turned out really good, great to see Toby full of energy and playing!! 😊 Keep up the great work !!
I’m a new viewer but I love your videos so I’m binge watching .. well when my 3 year old will let me haha. I loved this video and how this piece turned out! My father in law used to do furniture restoration. We actually did a cabinet together that was in an old barn. It was in pretty rough shape so he did the work of sturdying it up then I did the painting and sanding. I also ended up using some chicken wire on a couple of the doors we couldn’t save. It was a lot of fun and turned out really cute! Watching your videos makes me want to find another project piece!
My parents had one of these from the 60's. They we're very popular and some even expensive depending on what kind you bought. Very cool that you are repurposing it.
I bought a Magnavox in the early 60's for my MOM, and yes, it was very expensive. It has an outstanding sound system and it's in my living room now and is used nearly every day.
We had a record player almost identical to this one in the late 60's. We bought it new so that would make it about 55 years ago. I don't know if that qualified it for "antique" status. Anyway you did beautiful work.
Guess a lot of us had a stereo like that. I still have mine. Radio works great. SpeAkers were and still are kickers. Puts out a great sound Enjoy your videos You gotta be super busy this time of year chasing parts and keeping meals to all the “farm workers” so they can complete planting these long days they have til it’s over. Yea this corals thing can end any time. Be safe!! Nice makeover on your stereo.
You have amazed me again Nic. I will stop doubting you....When you started I was like no way look at that thing!!! You pulled it off as usual and hope business picks up for you! I did miss negative Nancy Chet in the background lol.
Oh I used to have an Old Victrola 78 speed, I would give anything to have it today. I took it apart to put in and AMFM radio. (Back when I was 14....I am 67 now...stupid me.
As Bob Ross once said... "there are no mistakes, just happy accidents" I have to admit I started to cringe when you first said what you are going to do to that cabinet... after seeing it done...WOW ! You do amazing work...very nice !!
I admit to laughing when I heard you say "Uff Da", how Norwegian of you. Or is that Minnesotan.Good job. Like others have said, my parents had one of those back in the late '60s.
You seem to be listening to our conversations......We were discussing who works harder, you or Chet. Conclusion...You! If Chet doesn't eat, Chet doesn't work. Also I've noticed my son using some historical familial terminology recently, like 'You betcha' & 'Oofdah'. Not sure where he picked that up, but I do like to hear those terms used again!
You seemed a little down in the first part of this video kiddo. You doing okay? I know how hard being a farmer’s wife is, plus the added pressure of having a small business! Keep your chin up doll and don’t let this corona crap get ya down. Loved this piece, again another win in my book!
Nicole's Untold Gold , Sorry to hear that! Things will look up though, it’s almost over with all this corona crap and I’m thinking sooner rather than later you’ll be back making money!
nicole workin on the old furniture gotta luv that nicole I didn't know her but miss her smile and xcellent personality
Wow! You have great vision for a piece I saw no value in! It's beautiful!
Love your little dog too!
Such a great person. Missing her and praying for her family snd Chet.
I love it. It’s so fun to see the piece in action after hearing you describe it. Love Toby! And what a joy to watch the care and time you put into each piece.
Final piece turned out super cute !
I wish I had found this channel earlier but even though Nicole has passed we can still watch her beautiful work. She was a special woman.
A parts runner is invaluable to a farming operation!
Nice work on that old stereo Nicole!! you certainly have an eye and vision on taking something old and making it new again.
I wasn't quite sure what to expect at first but you made something beautiful out of that old stereo. Fantastic.
So glad to see you wearing a mask while sanding and painting!! Smart lady!! That old stereo cabinet turned out just beautiful!! I think I would line the interior with cedar and make it a quilt chest!
Girl you have another way or ability to see things that only you can. You transfer from your idea Then we see the finished product and love it!!
Great job Nicole. I was trying to figure out what you could use that for, then it hit me, especially where y'all live. Could be a blanket storage. Really neat idea. Again, great job.

Looks great, I love wood working. That grain on the top is amazing.
Looks great
I LOVE YOU and my praying for you
I had one of those record players growing up!
I used to have one of those old stereo's back in the early eighties and you made it look better than original.
looks good.
From stero cabinet to buffet cabinet. A work bench or table about waist high would be nice to do your work on .
Good job!!!
I am impressed
I have my a Phillips tv set and a 8 track plus record player about 1foot bigger and 15 degree angle. Set and record player work.
Love it!
What is on the left side? Is that lost space or hidden storage from the rear?
Nice work
Great job
That was awesome !!!
I admit to laughing when I heard you say "Uff Da", how Norwegian of you. Or is that Minnesotan.Good job. Like others have said, my parents had one of those back in the late '60s.
Uff da! I didn’t catch it because, well, it’s part of the Minnesotan language.
Really nice, i like it
Awesome
Awesome Toybox!
What kind of sealer do you use?
I use varathane polyurethane
Save the tubes on the stereo chassis. They are worth something.
great to see you

About 20mins before I was driving to get a part I had a sale fall through. So that’s why I was a bit down! Thank you!!
Nicole's Untold Gold , Sorry to hear that! Things will look up though, it’s almost over with all this corona crap and I’m thinking sooner rather than later you’ll be back making money!
I think Toby likes to show-off for the camera. (Ha!Ha!)
How far out of Crete Nebraska are you. And how far off the highway are you when it comes to easrbound trucks?
I’m far away.
Another song for you "Spirit in the Sky" but Evol Walks cover. Injoy
