In my opinion its not about the 'experiment failing'. You've taken an extremely tight knit group (which was what made them special) that had worked all preseason together, with Sexton outright earning his spot and taking them to the top of the ladder. To now signing a 19 year old, forcing Sexton overseas and ultimately dividing the playing group, its not rocket science
I think you are right, mate. Not a dogs supporter, I’m an Eel, but it made zero sense to me. People can say what they like about Sexton, but he came to the club, the Bulldogs hadn’t played finals games in nearly a decade, and he was their halfback, and got them to the semi-finals, and then this year they were clear leaders of the comp, and then, without rhythm or reason, they tried to force Galvin in there. To be honest, I’m glad the Dogs signed him and not my Eels, because I’m not a big wrap on him, I think he’s more trouble than he’s worth, but I think they would have been better leaving him in NSW cup to learn the Bulldogs systems .
Too right brother, they ain’t landing rockets on the moon 🌙
I knew they were on the dip
What's your take on this Gus?
100% The bulldogs with Sexton had comraderie and were playing for each other hence they were top of the ladder. Now with Galvin coming in half way through the season without proving anything beyond a decent season at the Tigers, that tightknit comraderie is gone.
Galvin brought the losing culture with him to the Dogs 😂
No the Dogs brought him to your club, saved the Tigers millions.. thank you..
My cowboys will SMACK the bulldog next week two Queensland teams in a row
@darrenkaarsberg5308 Hope you are right brother, hope you are right.
😂
😂
Big ups to Billy Walters when he came on off the bench. He straightened up the momentum of the attack out of dummy half
Ezra scored a hat-trick in a losing grand final at 20 years old, kid is ultra talented and has the confidence to back it up, broncos could have a fairytale end to the season if they get their players back from State of Origin healthy can see them go a long waaay!!
Whoever pushed for the Galvin signing mid way through this season needs to have their job evaluated.
Gus
That would be gus was it not?
@@Plugitinbbywas it 100% Gus or 50 50 him and Ciraldo, everyone involved needs evaluating imo because it’s pretty clear the impact it’s had isn’t positive.
Gus over his head 😂
It was God... he wanted the Tigers to save millions...... hahaha
This win will instill a lot of confidence going forward. Well done boys 💪🐎👊
I hope in the changing rooms Ciraldo brings up the Penalty for not setting the scrum cause that was diabolical .
nah, he needs to address why they shat themselves with 30 minutes to go and an 18-point lead - bloody fake pretenders shown twice in a single year, this time at home with a boooing crowd who instead should've booed the shhh it out of Lachlan Galvin instead - the waste of money

I've never being a broncos fan but after that game they have not only made me change my mind but I have much respect for this team today ,
They needed a win like this, loved the team spirit and the celebrations at the end
not really the broncos out there, that was their bgrade side so
Ezra’s running game and pass selection was elite, you could’ve mistaken the x-man big willison for tino, and kotoni baggs wound himself up and went mun yuck again. Big up the baby broncos 🐎🐎
It was crazy how bad Bulldogs were in the second half. Funny thing is Galvin was brought in to give them some extra attack, and he ended up wrecking their attack.
Beautiful game. Broncos showing us that they still have some fire left in them. 🐴💯🔥🔥🔥

Ezra Mam is a special player...he just had a Bad year last year and is now working hard on getting back to his best...Good News for the Broncos!
Good player, but awful, dangerous person. Putting lives at risk multiple times and driving when you can't do so staying on the correct side of the road is a dangerous person who dies not care for others.

Benji Marshall is laughing right now. 🤣
Great win Broncos well deserved. Never gave up. Adam, Ezra and Tony in particular, were magnificent in the final twenty minutes. No disrespect to the other guys because it is a team effort after all. The playoffs, at least, are realistic.

Absolutely delusional
@@AmazinAmazin-q2o... 22 points in 13 minutes isn't so bad a delusion now ain't it.. 😂😂😂😂😂
In fairness, 2 of the bulldogs tries came from catching Cobbo out of position through kicks.
Both tries would have been stopped by a full-time full back
GO THE MIGHTY BRONCOS!!!!!!!
That was all heart and grit from the Broncs. Nothing went their way for the first sixty minutes. Defensively they weren't as bad as all the commentators said, except for the kick they let bounce. The dogs scored from opportunistic kicks and messy, broken play. They scored off one set play from a scrum, that was it. Canterbury could have put on a much higher score, but the Broncos held on by their fingertips, until they wrestled the momentum and game confidence their way, and once they had, they didn't look like losing, even when the ref missed the most blatant sin bin-able offence I've seen in the last month.
Well said💯
18-0 up and galvin bringing the tigers culture to the bulldogs culture..
How to ruin a team culture
you again
Careful if Moses sees what you're writing, you may get sued for bullying haha
Really happy for gould
This win was important because any win in the origin period is a plus and goes a long way, dogs blew it! Burto has to go back to 6 we missed his running game. Galvin stitched him up a few times when it wasnt on playing the short side.
Just pick either sexton or Galvin for halfback and keep burton at 6 ,
Sexton is in better form and got them to the top 4 before Galvin joined so just put Galvin in nsw cup or 18th man ,
Pick Galvin over Sexton? Are you serious?
@Hal49065 you must be joking right, sexton got the bulldogs to the top
As the dogs are 2nd i think ciraldo is just using the origin period as an experiment time, moving burton to centre, putting Galvin and sexton between 6,7 and 14 etc
Put sexton or Galvin at halfback and put the other as 18th man,
@@MungasaurusBravo69420 one wonders why Gus/Ciraldo wanted to bring Galvin in at this stage of the competition in the first place? The Dogs were 1st before origin. After origin every team will have their full 17 back. We understand what Ciraldo is doing but why did the Dogs want to bring this on in such a way that they are experimenting half way through the year. They weren't broken, nothing needed to be fixed. Many teams are starting to find their feet, the back end of the draw is going to be a lot tougher than the first half. At the moment experimenting isn't doing that well, so I agree, pick a side that you want to take you to the GF and stick with it. Galvin can't be on the bench either, you will have the likes of Hayward, Mann and then 2 big forwards on the bench, and you have Tupouniua and Fifita still out and places will have to be found for them. Again I just don't understand why on earth you would bring a kid in from the Tigers and stick him in the team that is leading the premiership.
@@Hal49065after the last few weeks if everyone is fit and full strength I'd just put Galvin at 18th man and keep sexton for the rest of the year
Remember that Reed Mahoney is leaving too they can stop shoehorning Galvin into the side and just have him as a back up half.
If they drop sexton or keep Galvin to replace Mahoney in a game it messes up the fluency and rotation.
If they want Galvin as the halfback then hurry up and drop sexton but since sexton is the best fit this year then drop Galvin to 18th man for the rest of the year.
The Goodna Eagles salute Ezra! 🦅 🦅
Yeah boys!!!!!! Go Broncos!!!!!

The Dogs have been Galvanised ✅
Galvin is a curse to Bulldogs🤣🤣🤣
After 60 minutes, the dogs looks like the best team in the comp.
How does the narrative change to the experiment isn't working? It worked incredible for 3/4 of the game.

No one is bringing up that the broncos beat the dogs at grind footy at their house.
We only let one try in through line break.
Otherwise we were there for every tackle. And by the 60th minute the dogs were out of steam.
Ezra did what dogs expected Galvin to do😂😂 who would buy a tiger😂😂
I made a comment when Bulldogs lost to Penrith regarding injecting Galvin into the game. If the coach keeps on doing that, they will loose all the games against top tier team. That's exactly what happen now which Broncos shocked them. Hooray Broncos.
i’m sad still Cobbo is leaving he’s our broncos future
Rushing defence vs Persistent determination, passes still being made and depth of attack. Broncos getting their mojo together, at long last.

Plenty of idiots call them the bronchokes lol
As good as Ezra was, Billy Walters injection into the game had a lot to do with it. IMO Walters should be the starting 9.
Look-the dogs were scoring from mistakes and tries from broken play. Broncos were feeling flustered. All Broncos needed to do was to focus, settle down, control the rhythm and put on some structured moves and thats all they did. Broncos settled their game down in the last 20 minutes then began scoring. All Broncos tries came from strucured moves. All Dogs tries were from broken play and Broncos mistakes.
I am not surprisee Broncos won. With 8 minutes to go, there still was plenty of time. .
I got laughed at in the betting group when I said Brisbane were winning 🤣 even at half time they were laughing, they were sure quiet after the game, I was only one in it to bet broncos lol.
Ezra is very lucky to be playing.
There is a bit of karma in all this for the Dogs and Galvin...
Their believing system in themselves is what keeps them going ❤🎉
broncos are the team 2025
Galvin now wants to go to raider on top.
I think everyone forgets that Broncos is under troops at the moment.
But the talents are there to carry them over the line.
Ask Ezra ?
Well done Broncos ! 🐎
Karma is real imagine booing Ezra Mam all game till that final 20mins he set up 3 tries and was in amazing form good on you young man no one is perfect you made a mistake that put people's life at danger but that doesn't define you as a player you did your time come back and took the game by the tip of the sword Galvin is that superstar I guess hahaha spoiled little brat didn't see him tonight hahaha
"The bronx are having a party"
The bulldogs are yet to adjust to Galvin's style 😂
Maybe the broncs have taken on that steely edge that Madge has tried to instill in them since his arrival. This game could be the turning point for the rest of their season.
Broncos defence doesn't get enough credit, two of the dogs tries were from complete "luck".
Galvin 😂
The Dogs rocked their own boat, they disrupted themselves & are destroyed their momentum. Hope they look in the mirror & see what cost them this years comp
Dogs fans will start to bully Galvin now and he will be sooking again😂😂😂😢😢😢
The Broncos had 4 players away on Origin duty and another 3 players out injured. Most of this team had only trained together for the first time this week, so no one really thought they’d be able to win. That was the gutsiest game they’ve ever played. Then didn’t play well in the first half, but I believe they played as well and the Bulldogs allowed them to. They obviously thought they had it in the bag at halftime. If I was a Bulldogs fan, I would be filthy. Good on you Broncos. I think that game could turn out to be the defining moment of the season
Ezra fought through every “boo” from the crowd. Kid has thick skin and is a superstar.
What’s with the title? You guys didn’t even discuss Galvin!
As a Canterbury supporter, this was worse than any 30 pt + drubbing I sat through during our Dean Pay, Trent Barrett era. Absolutely fucking putrid. I dont wanna hear premiership coming from the club again this season.
@jonathankim4892 they will never win the premiership, their peak is top 4 period. You can already see raiders, roosters and dolphins are going to be challenging for the premiership in 2026 so i do not see the dogs winning in 2026 either. By the time you reach 2027 the players that the dogs bought will jump ship. You can only go so far when you buy success, the only way to win a premiership these days is through generational talent like what Penrith had.
For real. If they just got thumped from the outset, it would be bad. But to come out and basically sit out the second half and let the Broncos walk home a victory was somehow worse.
Lachy-licious poor execution and put outsides under pressure with short passing game - work on
How long before the 19 year old will be asking for another exit from a club.. off to the Eels now I guess...
Nope the eels don’t want him now. He had his chance , he wanted the easy ride
Absolute brilliant game bynBilly walters, is in his prime for sure. Never thought broncos were much of a chance but were playing with a lot of heart. Unlucky bulldogs yas played excellent footy for 60 minutes.
