when he had to take a break to regain himself and find his new self he probably fought by himself with himself. and he won them came back to us as healthy and happy Onew. that is the best gift I get last year. seeing him happy and gradient I feel so soooo glad. I'm really thankful for his friend, New CEO and members who was with him.

I think he signed with a new label for his solo work, and he may have more creative freedom now with that. He's still with SM for Shinee content. Such a unique, beautiful voice, and his solo music is amazing.
Onew also has live clips for his songs Boy and Conversation that are on his new album, Connection. Conversation has quickly become one of my favorite Onew songs.
Based on the tons of behind the scenes content he's been putting out, it seems like he's really comfortable in his new company and able to have a lot more freedom to do what he wants to do. I'm happy for him!

Yesss Shinee reactions!!❤ they had a pretty back to back comebacks era, Taemin’s Horizon MV if you haven’t watched it already, then Key was next with Pleasure Shop as the title track and Overthink performance (slayed as usual) and then Minho’s Call Back (I also recommend the performance video of Something about you, the choreography is so good)!!

@@Yetti. I personally loved the vibe of all Minho’s album. As for Taemin love all songs ofc, my favorite are Horizon, Crush and The unknown sea (this a beautiful ballad that showcases his amazing voice). Plus Taemin is coming in Europe for his tour (I’m going to see him in Parissss, toooo exited ahhhh). He is coming also in London btw

I really love your reaction. I love Onew so much and I love that you feel him. You’re amazing. Thank you for this. ❤ Also I believe Yay was actually also tied to everything he’s on through. It was sort of the self seclusion he put himself in. Alone. Then he realized he didn’t have to be alone and all the world is filled with beautiful things to experience and enjoy. So it’s like he broke out and became free to enjoy the world.

Yyyeeesss, I'm so ready for the SHINee catch-up. You can tell his personality gets to shine now that he's not with SM and he just gets to do what he wants to. I believe he has production, composing, and writing credits for his last EPs. "Beat Drum" is from his "Flow" EP and he also did a live performance for the song "Maestro" from that EP. I'd love it if you checked that out because it's also a different vibe and I think you might find it interesting. He also also has a live performance video of his song "소년" or "Boy" from his Connection EP which is the one that has "Winner" and "Yay." He's certainly been busy!!!! I think you can truly feel just how much thought he must have put into what he wanted to do when he was away and I can feel this strong sense of renewed energy that he got from taking that time away. It's fantastic! I love getting to see him just be himself because I personally think that he is the REAL weirdest member of SHINee. He's just so understated that people don't notice right away. I feel like his music now encapsulates his calm, contemplative energy alongside his whimsical/goofy side. Minho is my bias and I love all SHINee solo music but Onew's has a special place in my heart. I love all of the solo songs I've heard from him but mostly his voice just causes a certain calm in me that I don't experience much.
I know other people probably mentioned it but there were other solos! Key did "Pleasure Shop" with a performance video for "Overthink." Minho has his first full-length album with the title track "Call Back" and a performance video for B-side, "Something About You" and "Call Back" actually has a dance video for it called, "MINHO 민호 'CALL BACK' | On the Spot" which was a special video he did for 1theK. I would recommend the "Call Back" dance video because Minho's energy in it is so cute and the dance is a LOT of fun.
Last but not least, Taemin released the companion title track to "Sexy In The Air" which is "Horizon." I'll tell you now about "Horizon" the dance is AMAZING and Taemin danced with mainly Western dancers for it. He worked with choreographer Kany again. Kany is a black American choreographer who was a SHINee fan and then got to work with them on their comeback for "Hard" and now she's their friend (especially close with Key and Taemin). Kany's been dancing for years and has worked with tons of celebrities before including Beyonce so for "Horizon" she called some of her friends, including Beyonce's dance captain Ashley Everett, and that's how Taemin ended up dancing with foreigners for this song. BUT! It doesn't end there because Taemin actually even kept them with him and performed "Horizon" on music shows with the foreign dancers. A stage full of (mostly) black dancers on MBC and KBS! Oh how far K-pop has come!
Anyways, that should be it for SHINee (for now). I'm actually seeing Taemin in concert in February in New York!!! I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He’s been talking a lot since he returned from his medical hiatus last year about how he wants to make music with a lot of different sounds regardless of genre. Basically if he hears something that appeals to him, he’ll write some lyrics for it and see if it works out for his voice and what he wants to convey in performances.
So there have been lots of new sounds from him in his most recent albums (Flow and Connection) since he left SM and is now doing more to produce his solo music. And he recently said that he’s been thinking about releasing an English song at some point, which is suuuper exciting because I love all the English performances he’s done but never thought I could expect him to have his own English song!
I do think he had a very specific style so I'm excited for him to change up

PROMISE YOU - He wrote the lyrics with his mom's point of view. He thought of his mother's love for him and how much she went through while he was facing his own struggles. Something along those lines. What a beautiful song as a tribute to a mother's unconditional and unwavering love.
WINNER - His words are always so direct, straight to the point, heartfelt. He has this great ability to touch one's heart with his music and lyrics.
I am so proud of him. He's been through a lot yet remained the kindest as he is.
And i am so happy to see him thrive and do what he always wanted to do - to sing and perform on stage ❤
