seems sooo easy yet 2 of us try this in reverse cant do it. goses in half way to slide forward but is half 8nch from back hooks on the back 3 seats

My rear seats are stuck in the up position and I can’t seem to move them down into the fixed position to sit on them. Does anybody know how to fix this?
