Bummer on that loss brother. Had the same thing happen to me in Montana couple years back. 490yd shot boom flop. Same impact a tad high missing everything important. It'll make you sick for a while for sure. Keep it up. Hope we can do some shooting sometime
What bullet were you running , and how many grains of powder were behind it? I think these fancy bullets that aim for high fragmentation sometimes completely explode on a shoulder blade and don't really penetrate the torso.
Well lets start out with 21 bull elk. Caribou, deer of 3 different species, black bear, mt lion and antelope. That is just with the bow. The rifle was just no challenge. N.R.A. Distinguished expert and marksmanship instructor. Range em dial em and send the screamer. No problem.
Yup, I hunt archery muzzleloader and rifle. The only thing I don't do is get on here and run my gums and talk about how bad ass I am 😂 you've got me beat I guess

Sorry . That is shooting , not hunting. Take one with a bow. My 110 arrowed at 19 yards. That is hunting.
Hes shot pleanty of deer and elk with archery, can guarantee probly more than yourself
