This gun would be awesome if they could get the quality control in line. I almost didn't purchase this gun because of some of the info I found on several air gun forums I frequent. I figured like most people that the issues are in a small percentage of the guns and I took the risk and got one. Mine started leaking from inside the gun (like so many others I have seen) before getting through the very first tank. I'm a fan of SIG and they have great fire arms but the SIG air gun division needs some serious work. My understanding is these guns are manufactured by an air gun manufacturer in Japan. Also very odd to see such quality control issues come out of Japan? I really hope they fix the issues with this gun and start taking the air gun market more seriously and start making some bad a$$ air gun because they absolutely have the capabilities. As of July 2021 the leaking issues continue. P.S. the charging handle has absolutely nothing to do with piercing the CO2 tank like instructed in this video, WTF SIG. Much like the real fire arm, it cocks the hammer for the first shot and the internal gas system will cock the hammer automatically for the rest of the magazine providing semi-auto firing. In no way does it pierce the cylinder. The CO2 cylinder is pierced as the bottle is screwed into the gun. If you listen while screwing the bottle in, you should be able to hear the gas rush into the gun when the bottle is pierced. The process to run this gun. Put gun on safe, screw bottle into gun, put loaded magazine into gun, pull charging handle, take off safe and fire. To load the magazine, take out belt, load pellets into belt head down with metal parts of belt down, then use the tool that comes with the gun to push the pellets down into the belt further into their final seated position. They kind of snap into place. If you skip using the provided pellet pushing tool the gun will jam, so try not to loose it. I believe the MCX Virtus (the PCP version) has a holder for this tool in the grip, not sure why they didn't do this for the MPX and MCX. The belt will only go back into the mag one way and goes in easy so if it does not slide back in easy you don't have it the right way. This would be a great gun if it didn't leak. Kind of important that an air gun doesn't leak. I own a machine shop and also build air guns so I will likely be able to fix my gun but most people buying this gun will not be able to fix it themselves, nor should they. The pressures these guns run at is no joke and can be VERY dangerous and if you don't know what you're doing, things could end very badly.
For anyone wondering, this and the MCX are *NOT* new guns. Sig has just decided to release a video on them. The new ‘Virtus’ model will be available in a few months. The Virtus comes in .177 and .22, is HPA/PCP, and is also regulated.
@Smash Revino i wouldn't know about stock availability. They might stop making them, idk. As long as it's been around, sometimes they continue. I've been able to find them.
I heard the ASP20 in synthetic was totally dropped by Sig. Would be nice to get some type of announcement, since it has been "coming soon" on the website for like the last year.
Have a look at pellpax.co.uk They sell a bunch of Sig Sauer airguns and they have their own delivery service which allows them to deliver to your door, so you don’t need to go to a shop
Not sure if you're still needing, but here is a link to the exact model in the video www.pellpax.co.uk/airguns/air-rifles/co2-powered-air-rifles/sig-sauer-mpx-co2-air-rifle-177-w-red-dot/14812 If you do pick one up let me know how it works for you, looking into one myself.
Have had a blast with the MPX .177 over the last 3+ mos....BUT, while I LOVE the build of the MPX, the plastic mags and belts have proven to be a challenge. Even using the setting tool , routinly I find rounds that fall out of the belt, or in the mag.HELP!!!
Hey, My brother in law bought one of these recently and it was not shooting when i unscrewed the co2 canister there was a seal, he ddnt have the box anymore with all the papers, does he have to break the seal himself then screw it ?
I have a full sized version but for some reason it won't cycle more than 1 round at a time. I don't know what else to do, it's not the mag, it just won't cock after the first shot, I have to recock the gun after every shot.
Just bought the mpx today it was great for the first 4 mags then would only fire after I pulled the charging handle after every shot. Anyone have any ideas
Hello madam, how are you, I hope you are fine. I want to buy from them, so do you have any of them and how much is their price? I am from Libya, and is there shipping? Please reply, my dear, and thank you
The co2 keeps on leaking I have no idea how to put in the co2 do I put it in fast or slow do I shove it or rotate it do I wait for the hissing sound or what I have wasted 4 88gram co2 cartridges and there not cheap
Killing animals is not nobel girl. You got to save earth from yourself. Nice defensive arm though. I would prescribe you to sit in your worship place in front of god and ask peace for all and save earth from global warming. I would request if you can change your logo, its not nature friendly.
I love my MCX . Does me wonders . I really hope to see Sig innovation come up with a blow back version.
Thanks for making great air guns Sig!
Just bought this weapon yesterday. It was extremely worth it.
How much did you pay for it?
WOTmorphineHITTER 180$
Can you put a suppressor on the rifle?
Marko S. As far as I know, only a compensator.
Can it kill rats??? I am olanning of buying one sir!

@Smash Revino These will always be available, atleast. I've heard good things about this gun in particular.
@Smash Revino I saw a few of em at dick's sporting goods. They were on the shelf for a few yrs. Pyramid air has them too I believe.
@Smash Revino i wouldn't know about stock availability. They might stop making them, idk. As long as it's been around, sometimes they continue. I've been able to find them.
@Smash Revino That's the MPX I'm talking about, not the Virtus.

Pre haps you could post a video on how to fix the leaks, this is my 4th one now and it’s a joke
Are these available in the UK..?
We have bad rodent problems where I live & this would be perfect for that plus they look cool as well.
can't wait to get in this in bolt-action lmao
Have a look at pellpax.co.uk

how many shots can we get down range before changing CO2
What’s the little metal piece that it comes with? Like I can’t find what this little metal loose piece does that came in the box
I like your company gun because it small and well grip easy to use
Hey, My brother in law bought one of these recently and it was not shooting when i unscrewed the co2 canister there was a seal, he ddnt have the box anymore with all the papers, does he have to break the seal himself then screw it ?
Do have a sound suppressor for the mpx air rife
Closing an eye with a red dot sight?
I just got the mpx and mcx how well do they fire .22 pellets
Is there a website I can go to get the gun and the co2 cartridges
Why not just make it full auto?
I live in California so this is preetttttyyy ccoooll to me...
Probably because that would make it illegal in a lot of potential markets.
@@ajaymay how it's a toy bb gun.
@@n1663r it’s a pellet gun not a BB gun “toy”

The co2 keeps on leaking I have no idea how to put in the co2 do I put it in fast or slow do I shove it or rotate it do I wait for the hissing sound or what I have wasted 4 88gram co2 cartridges and there not cheap

@@hmmmm.4459 did you go through sig? How was the experience?
I bought this gun last year but it's very costly to shoot PCP sucks!
You can take down a sasquatch with that gun 😀👍
Why aren't they select fire?
Please make extra .22 mags😣😣😣😣😣😣😣
you have a .22 version ?
How is it on humans
I still wouldn’t want to be shot by one...really
Toy?
Люблю смерть its not a Russian rifle
Air rifle is weapon for hunting or shooting sport
Erich von Manstein Have to give credit where it’s due. AK-47 is all around the best combat rifle ever made imho. Russians are bad-ass!!
No
She even looks drunk in this thumbnail lol.
if the rifle is fully automatic, then it has a bad recoil because of the short barrel of the rifle.
Who gave a woman a gun
Squirrel? Rodent? Thou shalt not kill. Jesus said to look after animals not murder. Blasphemy.
