The face that a 2 yr old dog can be that relaxed inside and on your lap is a true testament to all the hard work you've put in. Willa hit the jackpot!

As someone hoping to own a dog in future , this is one of the things I dread is how people can be sometimes. But the tips you shared are honestly so helpful. Not just for dog owners but even life advice 😂😂😂 people also like to give unsolicited advice on how you should live your life and while I don’t have a dog for now, I will be using these tips to help me in my personal life for now 😂😂😂❤❤ I also love how relaxed Willa was in this video. I imagine a lot of work has gone on behind the scenes to get her to be this calm

I’m a vizsla guy (on my 3rd) and my dogs are always very well trained - so much so that I get more questions than offered advice. With that said, I’m always shocked/amazed/amused/appalled at how self-proclaimed dog people who are basically good and well-meaning folks know so little about actual dogs. It’s also remarkable how these same people are willing to share their faulty information as something authoritative.

Willa is an absolute gem! We have a 20 month old female Vizsla and Willa reminds me a lot of her. This is our second female. We can't imagine our lives without a V. They are intelligent and know how to melt your heart! Keep up the great videos!

4:20 "you're a Nazi!" LOL that is the most ridiculous thing ever! What jerk! Good for you for not slapping her with a bag of dog poop.

One time I was in the park with my 6 month old Vizsla. She's got excellent recall, but like any puppy learning, she gets tired at the end of the walks and stops listening. I picked up she was getting tired and so I went to put her back on the lead. Before I managed she started pouncing (not jumping up) around a lone man walking trying to say hi to him. The interaction lasted about 2 seconds and i kanged to get her away from him and back to me. I got her back on the lead. He then said 'get your dog under control'. I felt bad as she displayed behaviour I didn't like and thay we're working on. But it's a catch 22 because you need to expose them and train them in busy areas. It felt like an unnecessary comment from a grumpy man as nithing happened (i.e. she didn't get him muddy or anything) and he chose to make that comment after I had her back ok the lead and the situation has concluded.

Hello, I have a Vizsla pup, just rolled over 7months now. Hearing your experiences is a giggle as I’ve encountered very similar, only difference is I’ve only just learnt to walk again and very slow, she pulls but getting better to heel command. Yes my dog needs more but it’s coming as I get stronger, now on two walks, off lead and lots of fetch and interaction with groups of dogs…. Yet I still get you know…. They need…😂

When our standard poodle was a puppy and we had her for 1 week I went to the park with her and saw a dog coming at us full speed off leash. I picked my puppy up (she was not fully vaccinated + I did not know the dog) and the owner told me off, saying that my dog would end up being a neurotic adult if I picked her up like that when a dog apporaches us. She also told me to put her down which I did not do (meanwhile her dog jumped up on me and she was unable to call him back). The whole situation made me cry cause I was already overwhelmed, had not slept well (puppyhood, yay XD) and did not know how to react. A few days later I saw the same woman hit her dog with the leash. I still get angry when I see that woman, but her dog turned out to be very nice and friendly in the end. I still wonder why people are like that sometimes but hey... maybe she was also having a hard time or something....

Vizslas aren't dogs. They are barnacles. :D
