Nice kayak. I keep eyeballing one at Bass Pro and we know what happens after eyeballing something long enough. We once had 3 kayaks but ended up selling them all several years ago. Mine was 14.5 feet long and a pain to load and store. My next one will be 10 feet long.
Thanks for the great review... I LOVE my VIBE kayaks. I've been paddling them since 2015. I became a Field Staff member with them in 2018 and they keep impressing me. That YF120 is really great on rivers up here in north Georgia. You should try adding the rudder to it. Makes fishing the banks in wind or current really good. It is my son's favorite. My wife and daughter love their CUBERA hybrid boards, as do I. The Shearwater 125 (pedal drive) is my favorite for saltwater now. The Seaghost 130 is (in my opinion) the best all around if I had to choose only one boat. It will go from creeks to ocean and handle it all fantastically. Thanks again for the great review
Possibly the best video I have seen explaining the virtues of this boat. As a matter of fact, I think you have convinced me to "pull the lever and push the button" on getting one! Now if I can just find one available for purchase!
@@cgretired6976 yeah COVID has basically sky rocketed kayak sales across the country. Have you tried the vibe website? I really like my yellowfin 120 myself, just bought a rudder and can’t wait to test that out
Thanks for this review!!! I am a bigger man and have been looking for a review with someone relatable to my self so I can get a idea. Everyone says good things about the vibe yellowfin 120! I think I’m going to go pick mine up!! Thanks!! Great video!
Great review of this kayak. I’ve been going back forth on sea ghost 110 and yellowfin 120. I think your review has been the best for this kayak and makes my decision more confident.
Awesome review! My kayak fishing buddy has a 10` Yellowfin version as his paddle kayak and i have a Vibe Seaghost 110 as my paddle kayak. Vibe is an awesome brand. I`m looking forward to se more kayak content. New subscriber here. Came from that BBB kayak video
Thank you sir! I love doing stuff with the bum! I used exclusively kayak fish but I bought a mako a year ago and sold my native then, but lately I have been getting the itch to go again. So I invested in the vibe and so far I love it! Thanks for subscribing!
Okay so according to what I heard ........ myself at 5'11 ish and 256 and have never been in or used a Kayak. Lots of canoe on the rivers around here but never a yak. Curious about how well it does in the bay areas with traffic, not going to attempt using it in the surf. I am wanting something that can be easily loaded and hauled from Missouri to Dauphin Island and use around there, maybe see if they will let me transport it over to Fort Morgan on the ferry as a walk on.
Love your review on your kayak, im really into buying the yellowfin 120 ,if only i could find a dealership that sells them ,dicks sporting goods, claims they carry them ,but all in all im in maryland, cant serm to find 1 yet ,2 weeks i have to actually hopefully find one any help would be a big plus, as where to buy this same kayak thst you have ,im a firm believer in vibe kayaks
I purchased this kayak in November. How do you move it from storage to vehicle? And vehicle to water? I see lots of videos on it. Just curious how you do it. Thanks
Hi there. I’m curious, how did the 120 perform on lakes with wind? Im interested because I’m somewhat concerned about being pushed around in some wind condition as the profile is higher.
Lol, I'm on a weight Los program right now. I was 185. I'm down to 165. My goal is 155... Maybe I'll shoot for 150 now! 😂 I have a Hobie outback. I can stand up in it (when I was 185) but it was a little shaky. I'm really hoping my weight loss and some practice will make things more stable.
Omg so true these tiny guys soaking wet 135lbs talking about standing and stability what a joke. Im 265lbs show me a yak that can handle that allow me to stand and lets not forget bad knees dont help so high seating is a must and a stand up assist is a good thing.

This one is 12'2" but honestly is not that heavy, I loaded it and and unloaded it by myself with no issues
Thanks for the great review...

@@CameramanRon No, not really. I just tried and no luck. What is going on? Covid has created a kayaking frenzy?

Love you Camera man Ron!! I have the same kayak as you!!
Congrats on the new "man sized kayak." You will like the Vibe. Great yak at a great price point.
Lol I def needed a bigger one for sure!!
Good job, hope to see more videos.
Thanks man!!
@@CameramanRon now I’m probably going to get a kayak.😂😂😂

Ron, Your very good on camera. I also am not a little fella.. This is just what I wanted to see. Thanks
Thank you sir, I appreciate that.
Great review brother! I've been thinking about getting me a paddle only setup, this might be the one!
I def like it, it is super stable and can def get into the skinny stuff

It will hold you fine. I’ll be posting an on water review this coming week.
I didn't see the link for the storage bag. Could you tell me what it is? Thanks
I enjoyed your review. I feel like this is what I need. I’m about 210 lbs. I don’t really want the sea ghost so I think this one fits me just right.
It really is a great budget friendly yak for us bigger guys. The length paired with the high sides and flat bottom make it super stable!!
@@CameramanRon I stuck between a this boat, a sea ghost 110 or a bonafied 117
@@Spartan5420 I didn't research the bona-fide but the sea ghost has more creature comforts but the yellowfin is def more stable than the seaghost
@@CameramanRon thanks for the help! I’ll probably get the yellowfin and it’s at a better price than all the others.

Hi again, a question for you. How’s the weight, do I need a cart, is that something you’d recommend. Thanks for info, looking forward to more vids!
I'm sold! Gonna pull the trigger on it, I'm also 250 lol
It's a great kayak for bigger dudes like us!!

I just pack mine!
Hi there. I’m curious, how did the 120 perform on lakes with wind? Im interested because I’m somewhat concerned about being pushed around in some wind condition as the profile is higher.
Any bigger kayak will def get punched around more by wind, I had this one out on lake Shelby in a pretty windy day and had no problem maneuvering it.
I have been wanting to get a kayak to do some fishing (I live in Gulf Shores). What made you choose paddle instead of peddle drive again?
Thank you
Good job!
Thank you!!
So when are you coming out with us ?
Soon!! It felt good to get back in the yak for sure!
Nice

I think the practice will def help. Lol
BTW i actually like the open deck and i absolutely dont need dry storage i rather not have it and get more free deck space.

As soon as the water warms up, I'm going to see if you can really stand up in it! Lol
Get a set of SOSpenders inflatable life jacket
you wouldnt be breaking a "land" speed record on the water anyway...lol.
Great review. thank you
This 2 year old review actually made me a subscriber.
Good stuff.
