Really slick,I like the modular concept using readily available components.
Thanks. That’s the best way so others can build their own.
Love this video and your approach to no nonsense woodworking. Folding table with a piece of plywood. Excellent!
Thank you.
Great idea and presentation. Helped me to think outside the box. Everyone wants one, but the size and storage are concerns. With modification of this application ( if necessary) I believe anyone can make this work in their shop. Much appreciated. Keep it up.
Thank you.🙏🏾 Just planting the seed. Others will make it grow into their own.
Just shared you to everyone that I know.
As a man in a wheelchair with some neurological issues from a workplace accident, that loves to see you do this work, you explaining everything second by second is a Godsend!!!
Love your work Sir!!!
Thank you!!!
I’m extremely thankful that I was able to assist you in your journey of craftsmanship. You clearly are the GOAT battling your adversity. I’m interested to see what you make when you get your tools together. Keep me posted!!👍🏾
Appreciate you providing measurements and keeping it simple and portable
Glad to help!
I would offer an additional idea for this. Get a 1/2" pipe 2-4' long that you can cut to size, bicycle seat quick release clamps, and some rail collars. And if in your budget get some aluminum frame extrusion. Mount your rails to that and then you can raise and lower your router height in case you need more clearance that the 3" you get with this setup. Just a thought. Good video!
I like that idea. I may incorporate that and make a part 2. Thanks
I work mostly with slabs! This is the best idea I've seen. Ordered the parts today!
That’s awesome!! I would love to see some of your art.🖼️
You Sir have some of the best videos on RUclips. Just love the way you present the information. Nice clear and no BS. Keep up the great work. Looking forward to more videos in the future
🙏🏾 Best Vids on YT! Humbly thank you for that one. Thanks for the words of encouragement. I’ll continue to provide useful content. 🙃
I like the idea of making the table for a folding table. I'll add a recommendation... the video didn't say anything about what you're gonna do with it. Just flattening boards? or you plan on template type stuff? it's important to answer the question "why should I watch this video to the end". Nice video even without that. keep making them
Appreciate that insight. I’ll be sure to include those key notes for future vids.
Great job on your router sled build
Thank you LordHog!
Great job explaining everything
Thank you 👍
Brilliant mate my rails came today and although I new roughly how I was making it thee table idea has finished the idea.
That’s awesome mate! Glad to be of service.
Wow, super nice! Thanks!
Welcomes!! Thank you!
Great video mate. I purchased the linear rails a while back but havnt had a chance to build it yet. My workshop is only small so building it so I can take it apart and store against the wall will be a big help and I never thought about adding the dust extraction like that either 👍 Thanks for the tips
That’s awesome! Thanks! I’m glad to help! Now I want to see the great things that you create with it.
Ingenious! Such a good idea. Thank you.
Thanks. Glad to help!
Great work! I have been using some MDF as my rails. It's time I upgrade!
Upgrade! Upgrade! Upgrade!!! You hear the chants!!!
Great video, exactly what I was looking for!
Glad that I could help!
I'd just add legs to the roller frame at this point.. then you dont need the flimsy table. Or.. glue/screw that table in to the frame since it fits inside it.
That’s a good option too
Thank you for explaining smiple easy to understand but not like am stupid. New subscriber,
Thanks for the Sub! Honestly I’m just trying to make my viewers lives easier. Or at the least, help you save time.
Great idea I’m gonna make one, thanks for the video 👍👍
Thanks. That’s great! I’m curious about what you’ll create with it…😊🤔
This is Awesome... Excellent tutorial.. I orded some small ones from TEMU dirt cheap for a 24" wide table.. But I'm gonna get the long big ones too.. Whats so cool is that its all portable and mobile and you can put it all away ..
That’s awesome! Came up on a deal for yours! Wish I used Temu 😏. But portable is better. Glad you found it helpful 😊
Sweet build
Yoooo! Thanks 😊
Thanks for the video!! I'm building my own right now & you supplied me with a number of great ideas (especially the caster wheels!) . My question is this. I have all my needed parts to start building mine, my only question for you is how did you determine the distancing for the screws on the bearing block slide glide? I haven't been able to find a template for it.
Oh...and you earned a new subscriber. I look forward to your next video.
That’s awesome. I made a quick template with an old business card. I ended up making on Hole and the other hole slotted. Thanks for subscribing.
I plan to make one just like you made. I enjoyed the video.
Thanks! I’d love you see your final Build. After using mine for the time that I have. I see that there’s room for improvement for sure.
Excellent video. Thanks for the idea. One question, what is the maximum thickness that can be tolerated? Would a 3 inch thick board fit in there? Thank you
Hi Jorge! The set up that I have is 2.25 in thick. But if you place a 2x4 under the longer linear guide. That could easily be increased.
I like this guy. Thanks🎉
Welcomes 👍🏾
I would add a 12 x 12’’ Perspect plate to mount the router so you can see what your doing, plus I question if the table would hold a large slab🤔🤔
That’s a good observation. I added an .5in acrylic base so I could see. But yeah it can hold up to 250lbs.
Nice work. Great idea using the rails. Have you had a chance to use it? Thanks for sharing. Subscribed.
Thanks! Yes I've been using it like a mad man. I used it in this video. RUSTIC COUNTEROP FOR UNDER $40 ruclips.net/video/Mn1CIliPLGY/видео.html
Absolutely awsome video thank you so much for this one
You’re welcome! ☺️ Glad you enjoyed it
Pretty slick 👍
Thanks D!
Good Job. Maybe add some way to level the sled.
Thank you!
You’re welcome!
Did you happen to have a total price list for the build? I already use 6 and 8 foot plastic tables already, but I was actually thinking about mounting this to a table and making the table top able to flip over for an assembly table on the other side. Then it can stay together inside and I can add a shelf underneath to store the router and top rails. Still playing around with ideas
The total was around $170ish. Including the wood and linear guides.
Super!
Thank you very much!
Does this bow on you at all? I did one out of 3/4 plywood and it bows in the middle. So wasn’t sure if this would as well. Also how wide is yours? I need one can can do a 5’ round table.
I haven’t had any problems with mine bowing. Then again mine can only 72x36. So that could make a big difference. I’ve seen guide rails up to 6ft long on Amazon.
Great job
Thanks 🙏🏾 😊
Wow!!❤
Woooo!!! 🤙🏾
I tried looking for links to the rail guides used but was unable to find them. Anyone have a link. There are so many of them out there I don’t want to buy something that’s not built well. Thanks.
Hi Shaynesabala! I have links in the video description for linear rail guides and everything else that I used to build this puppy. You can change the lengths of the rail guides also.
Very Very Nice
Thanks 😊
Lol the music sounds so ominous
Lol! Just a little bit 🫣
👍
Great video, thanks man
Thanks
wow, thank you, this was a great video.
You’re welcomes!! You’re going to make one now?
@@donvincidesigns in a few weeks, just have to finish up a few projects first. But thank You my friend for showing me how to build this sled. Have a great weekend
