Mega evolution items have always been key items to the story, meaning they usually are not transferable. In the case of a mega tauros, no paldean mega stone would need to exist unless the Pokémon was in legends Z-A, where the mega stone would have to stay

I feel like Nintendo is gonna do something like the Wii where the Wii can play Wii games and Gamecube games but it plays both Nintendo Switch games and 3DS games
With the yuzu/citra emulator shut down, the mention about remaking older games like brilliant diamond/shining pearl. I hated the remake, I would rather them do legends games, makes them part of the same region but still unique.
i don’t think it’s a good idea for pokemon that have regional forms to get mega’s and while the Idea of it SOUNDS nice, it would be way to confusing and i don’t think Game Freak would do all of that
