Which is your prefered FARP? I love the flexibility of the invisible FARP. Also are you a unit or static object kinda FARP builder?

I love putting FARPs on water 😀

Well I thought that mentioning scripting the FARP to spawn on water was going too far 🤣

haven't done much with FARP's to have a fav (never used the invisible one)
always done static object FARP's.... think it looks better
OMG!!! you can place FARP's on water!!!!
you could make a treasure hunt.... place FARP's all over the place and use Harrier's and Heli's
to find the FARP with the trigger zone treasure!

Hey so I've got my FARP operational... Everything except the ATC. When I request startup ATC tells me "Unable to clear." When I'm in the air and request landing it tells me to "Go to Alternate." Any ideas what might be the cause? FYI I've tried both the Command Humvee and the Command bunker. Neither allow for proper ATC operations. I did see a reddit post in my search for "Go to Alternate" that suggested ATC will use this instruction if there's any "accident". Finally I should mention I'm not setting this up for helipads, but rather as a road based airfield. The road is tarmac, but narrow. Powerlines running beside it. Maybe this is the cause? I've not tried any other roads.

As of a few updates ago, I have had lots of problems with FARPs not working correctly. The ATC humvee used to be enough to get ATC to work.
You can clear scenery objects with a trigger zone, if that helps.
Have you tried using the FARP tent as well? Hopefully FRAPs will become less finicky again in a future update.

@@DCSChopsticks Hey thanks for the fast reply. It just dawned on me that the ATC probably doesn't know what to tell me as there's no proper runway (for example "Clear to land on runway 30") to guide me to. So it just says "Go to Alternate." Unless I'm still missing something, but this seems the most logical answer. As for the FARPS themselves, I've had no problem refuelling and loading stores.
Edit: Oh and yep, I put the tent down. I think that allows for repairs, according to a Grim Reapers vid I watched on FARPS.

How about a video on Sam Sites. Setting them up for Blue and Red forces? Please!

It's planned for this week, just working out the best way to keep it short and simple. It can get complicated with SAMs like the Sa2 needing weird units.
