The NFL scouts won’t have him underrated… barring injury, he will be regarded as one of the top safeties by draft time.. it’s not many better than him. N he did this with the worse DL in the P5 arguably
Fun to watch Shilo. He’s very strong and smart. Here’s wishing Colorado has a great year in 2024. 1-11 in 2022. 4-8 in 2023. And if Shedeur can get protection, and the refs are fair, they have a chance to excel.

Im glad this highlight was put together. Bruh is at least one of the best safety in CFL. He has speed and will run your ass down and what i liked about his game is the fact that he is always around the ball. Fuck what the media say, my eyes tell me this young man has the IT factor to excel in the NFL. The only things he need to work on is wrapping up as he is tackling and he need to work on his coverage because he did get beat alot by tight ends but if he can clean that up, he easily will be the best safety in his class. Despite that, i feel like they may not have him going first round next year, but he is definitely gonna be a steal cause he has first round talent. And mark my words, his hit stick tackling style will be his bread and butter.
Run people down? What have u watched , they run away from him , he’s slow and very slow, only tackles when nobody is looking , has no ball skills, he’s a practice squad member at best, but because he’s daddy’s little prime the NFL will draft him for clicks
Shilo’s game is like putting the tackling on aggressive in you’re defensive adjustments in Madden. You’ll get more hit sticks and force fumbles but you’ll miss more tackles. You need a guy like this though in this soft ahh defense, his game brought physicality which is something they lacked all season.

Gonna be bigger and faster next season, he won’t go later than the second round next draft. Reminds me of Johnathan Abram who the raiders drafted a few years ago out of Mississippi State as far as hitting(check his college film) but with slightly better pass coverage skills.
Eh. A, abram is much bigger and I think shilo will run slower than him. B, abram was kind of a bust last time I checked. That being said, I love Shiloh’s game and would take him on my team any day. But I think he’s a day 3 pick that will stick with a roster if he cuts his teeth on specials and as a 3rd rotational safety. Unless he runs much faster than I think he will. I was gonna say high 4.6 speed based on the tape. But I’ve been wrong before.

Shilo is not gonna run through NFL veterans as easy-the Nick Chubbs and Josh Jacobs ring 🔔’s. But for every big, strong and fast Safety that didn’t make it…there is a small, weaker, slower one that did. He’s got his dads instincts. 2nd rounder to the Raiders or Texans my prediction
@@OwnTwoFeetRecords abrams ran 4.45 at combine shilo ain’t running that. BUT, I agree that safety is not necessarily a height weight speed position like edge rusher. Length doesn’t matter as much, pre and lost snap reads mean more, good eyes and instincts. I think he’s small and not that fast, but he easily can be a starter in the league. I wouldn’t draft him before the 3rd or 4th round unless he runs faster than I think he will. But yes, many good safety’s in the nfl who are 4.6 guys and he can def be one of them. Like I said, I would ALWAYS take him on my team. Just wouldn’t reach unless he runs low 4.5s or faster and has some more ball production downfield next year (he’s coming back)
You can tell he watches film / understands football. On the first play against UCLA, flat footed, 2 light hops as read steps, then ATTACK. Watch his Jackson state film as well. There are some of the biggest haters in these comments. Literally has highlights and plenty of tackles where he wraps up and has some where he doesnt. Most important is that the guy falls on the ground. Yall have never played safety but there are a lot of guys in the league that do the same thing. You dont need to wrap up every tackle for it to be a good tackle.
That’s not what people are saying. Ppl are saying how he hits isn’t going to be sustainable or effective at the next level to a certain instant, which is true. That’s not hate. Guys are way stronger and more athletic in the NFL that if he goes in with his shoulder all the time, he’s going to miss or get ran over. If you watched him closely this year, he has plenty of missed tackles from not wrapping up in which went for big plays. I saw about two-three clips at the most of him wrapping up in this. I love his mentality, but squaring ball carriers up and getting lower is something he needs to work on. I myself have played as a hybrid safety in college and was always smaller and found that wrapping up and going low was more efficient then when I was goin in with my shoulder. But if you wanna hit like Shilo, u gotta get good at wrapping up first. Look at guys like ray lewis and Ed reed
Saying he missed plenty of tackles is a stretch when he is the leading tackler on the team. Obviously based on volume but job is still getting done. I watch football bruh. there are some tackles that you just use your momentum and shoulder. Especially on crossers over the middle. Thinking that you're going to be able to square up and tackle every play is ridiculous and yes i played safety as well. Shilo is one of my favorite dB of all time, that says a lot. He would hands down make any defense better, not just the secondary. When it comes down to a evenly matched teams he would stand out every time while other players would respectfully disappear. Thank God he's not 6'2" or more bc they would have to change the rules for football. Any team that gets him would be getting a major boost. First pick for any defensive gander. Hall of fame player if he stays healthy throughout his future 🔮. Football players and coaches know what I'm talking about. Game changer.

Im glad this highlight was put together. Bruh is at least one of the best safety in CFL. He has speed and will run your ass down and what i liked about his game is the fact that he is always around the ball. Fuck what the media say, my eyes tell me this young man has the IT factor to excel in the NFL. The only things he need to work on is wrapping up as he is tackling and he need to work on his coverage because he did get beat alot by tight ends but if he can clean that up, he easily will be the best safety in his class. Despite that, i feel like they may not have him going first round next year, but he is definitely gonna be a steal cause he has first round talent. Shilo’s game is like putting the tackling on aggressive in you’re defensive adjustments in Madden. You’ll get more hit sticks and force fumbles but you’ll miss more tackles. You need a guy like this though in this soft ahh defense, his game brought physicality which is something they lacked all season.

Gonna be bigger and faster next season, he won’t go later than the second round next draft. Reminds me of Johnathan Abram who the raiders drafted a few years ago out of Mississippi State as far as hitting(check his college film) but with slightly better pass coverage skills.

Length doesn’t matter as much, pre and lost snap reads mean more, good eyes and instincts. I think he’s small and not that fast, but he easily can be a starter in the league. I wouldn’t draft him before the 3rd or 4th round unless he runs faster than I think he will. But yes, many good safety’s in the nfl who are 4.6 guys and he can def be one of them. Like I said, I would ALWAYS take him on my team. Just wouldn’t reach unless he runs low 4.5s or faster and has some more ball production downfield next year (he’s coming back)

Most important is that the guy falls on the ground. Yall have never played safety but there are a lot of guys in the league that do the same thing. You dont need to wrap up every tackle for it to be a good tackle.
That’s not what people are saying. Ppl are saying how he hits isn’t going to be sustainable or effective at the next level to a certain instant, which is true. That’s not hate. Guys are way stronger and more athletic in the NFL that if he goes in with his shoulder all the time, he’s going to miss or get ran over. If you watched him closely this year, he has plenty of missed tackles from not wrapping up in which went for big plays. I saw about two-three clips at the most of him wrapping up in this. I love his mentality, but squaring ball carriers up and getting lower is something he needs to work on. I myself have played as a hybrid safety in college and was always smaller and found that wrapping up and going low was more efficient then when I was goin in with my shoulder. But if you wanna hit like Shilo, u gotta get good at wrapping up first. Look at guys like ray lewis and Ed reed

I’ve watched every Colorado game this year, and yes Shilo accounts for plenty of missed tackles. And obviously there won’t be opportunities to square up on tackles all the time, and yes obviously there will be times you get ran over and what not. However, wrapping is something Shilo is not good at, and if he doesn’t work on it, he will not make an NFL team
Shilo is one of my favorite dB of all time, that says a lot. He would hands down make any defense better, not just the secondary. When it comes down to a evenly matched teams he would stand out every time while other players would respectfully disappear. Thank God he's not 6'2" or more bc they would have to change the rules for football. Any team that gets him would be getting a major boost. First pick for any defensive gander. Hall of fame player if he stays healthy throughout his future 🔮. Football players and coaches know what I'm talking about. Game changer.
Definitely ready for the NFL.
