You have a good set up. The one thing you seem to need, however, is some more experience cooking. Make it easy. There are prepackaged you heat up. If you want to add vegetables, prepare them at home and place in a plastic bag ready to cook. And then the old stand by - Raman noodles that you just add a package of sauce to and some veges and maybe a meat. And if nothing else, a can of soup will fill you up! Good luck!
