If you have $3,000 in expenses per month and only make $3,500 per month forget about paying off debt. You need to earn more money before worrying about anything else. I run a marketing and coaching company and it seems whenever there's a chargeback for whatever reason, we have no opportunity to win. I agree with the idea of "you sign a contract, you are obligated to pay for it" just like when we sign a contract for a car, home, etc.

Good interview. Grant has a unique and aggressive view of money. Some good lessons in there. I strongly agree with his comment on passive income. I retired 5 months ago at 53 as I’ve created strong six figure passive income from 7 sources. Life changing.
Other outlets have him at 600 million net worth. Impressive but not 7 billion. If you syndicate 3 billion of apartments for example at a 70/30 pref with 30 going to GP and they become worth 5 billion after say 500 million of capex you have 1.5 billion of upside before other costs. 1.5 billion X.30 = 450 million ( really less than this with other resale costs ).
