As a person of Indian and Black descent, it is great to see her having success in India. I often struggle in embracing my Indian heritage because of the prejudices towards black people.

I totally understand- being Pakistani but married to a Black man I have totally rejected my entire Asian side because they are so racist but don’t accept it and so don’t work on it

She didn’t choose to be a Lovechild but she embraced her circumstances, totally normal. Turned her circumstances into a business, beautiful! ❤❤

What does Masaba mean that in India, people couldn’t understand any her hair was the way it was. Lots of South Indians has her facial features and hair texture. Her mom must have kept her in a bubble.

May God bless her and her ongoing confidence and love herself- all of herself, including her skin color, hair texture and body shape ❤
Hopefully she embraces her Afro Caribbean heritage

@sofialovinglife597 •I am very white British Red Hair can’t get much more pale my sons Dad is Sri Lankan so he Is also classed as “Love Child “I found out the term is derogatory or can be the Grandmother was calling him her Love Boy poor boy only met twice and she wanted him to live with her in S/Lanka .We all bleed the same blood ,cry the same tears my son is doing a Heritage test having only 50% Family Tree is not easy for a young man or woman ..My son went through a stage he did not want to go out when he was facing Racism I come to terms everywhere has racism in certain ways..In someways it’s obviously not what I would have ever chosen (For him to face discrimination)But he told me “Mum my kindness is not a weakness if people don’t like me I don’t mind I will just work harder “
