I’m an auctioneer and it is VERY common practice for people to approach a winning bidder and make them an offer after a sale. I’ve never seen anyone object to it. An auction, a flea market, an estate sale, a garage sale, they are all about wheeling and dealing and who gets there first. It’s a perfectly acceptable thing.
I just love to watch your videos…..but I hate it that you have to worry about “haters” coming after you about stuff. You both are so very sweet and kind. Keep up the good work. ❤

Do not understand why you needed to explain at all. Reselling is your job. One of the goals of any jobs is to make money. That is that. Good for you - did not have to list it, ship it- saved time and effort.- but still made a profit.
I’ll do it , but maybe not in front of the original seller and definitely not in her property. Like outside on street or something.
Hi you can try this because it works on Rubbermaid plastic type food containers. Put water and a few drops of dish liquid, off brands work fine, put paper towel in container and give a shake. You will be shocked,at least with plastics.

Try oven cleaner on your Pyrex. It will get the deepest crust off. Been using it for years and my Pyrex is crystal clear.
I agree, homeowners associations are the pits! Lived in one in AZ, and will never live in another! Just bought 12 acres in PA and nobody can tell me what to do and not do with my property, ever again!
Yeah, it's definetly nice having a piece of land to yourself without a HOA.
I think you were nice to offer the Sinclair oil can. You told him you were going to flip it. So you made some money and he got a fairly good deal, and did not have to wait for you to clean it and then list it. He would have then had to pay shipping as well. Enjoy your videos.

The lady asked for $20each can ($40 total) but negotiated down to $30 total I’m guessing because of you and who you are. She gave you a deal 😊. I think I would have sent the new guy to her to give her the better price. There were three people in that deal. I know ….. I’m crazy !

You could have got more on that can but with a lot of time listing and shipping etc. it was fair that you sold it to him. He approached you! If he didn’t it wouldn’t have been cool to sell it there

Try white shaving cream. Leave it on 10 - 15 min. You can only use it on white items.

those blue cornflower dishes will still sell, or if your worried about the white dish parts, sell just the lids, i do it all the time, lids will sell and make money still!

We have a ton of vhs and dvd and our collection keeps growing.
You gave him a great deal on the Sinclair can. He's happy, you're happy. I have great results with Barkeepers friend on utensil marks on dishes; it might work on those marks.

@mopickin1 You are good for reselling at the sale. I have bought and sold items at sales many times myself. I have even made an offer to the person who outbid me on singular items in the box. I made an offer after I ask what they were after and if it was not the item I wanted we're good.They usually sell it to me at much less than what I was willing to give for the whole box. Sometimes we're after the same item and then I congratulate them on their purchase. I like that metal 7UP soda bottle carrier, but it looks like you passed on it. Wonder what it was priced at? I remember those from when I was a stockboy at my dad's grocery store when I was a kid.
I think it was 10 on the 7up deal there. If I'm remembering correctly.
There are a vintage pair of pliers from the Boy Scouts (marked) that have a little hook at the bottom for lifting pots out of campfires. They sell for at least $40+ each. Keep your eyes open. (also, why do we say "a pair of pliers?" It's ONE tool!)
Jason try a Mr. Clean dry eraser for the Pyrex it should work very well. 😊I thought that was cool making a deal at an estate sale (no big deal) he didn’t seem to mind! Otherwise, he wouldn’t have bought the old gasoline can. It was cool 😎

Great video, guys! When you were picking out the Pyrex from the shelves, there was a 7-up aluminum pop bottle carrier right in front on the middle shelf! These are highly collectible and worth some good money! Cheers from East Coast of Canada!
2:50 there was a white nuwave pizza oven under the table. that can go for around $100
Yeah, we have a bit of a backlog on them and I find the ones that aren't the black pro models sell a bit slower.

Goof off is garbage. Lighter fluid. My mom used it always, as my dad was a roofer. took Tar off of everything. Even carpet. I used it instead of goof off. Works 100xbetter and uses less.
Everyone seemed happy with the oil can sale to win win. We love Larry Boy but never seen one that big in Australia.

I would've sold the can too. I would've however, met the guy afterward, outside of the sale and made the deal. But, it seems you know the people well that have the estate sales and they didn't have a problem with it. So, no big deal. I've had people try and buy something that I have in my goodwill cart a few times. If I were selling to turn a profit I would have no problem meeting them outside and selling it to them. But, mine was for personal use, like a kitchenaid mixer. Several people wanted to buy from me. They were resellers. lol But, I had wanted one forever and she sits proudly in my kitchen and I love her. Another time was also a kitchenaid, actually Hobart mixer. It is an old one and I paid 15 bucks for it. Built like a tank. But, the newer one is the platinum shiny one and lives on my countertop for regular use. I've been buying dvds of my favorite movies too. I don't like being dependent on streaming a movie. It's nice to have a hard copy, and I love a good movie. Thanks for taking us along. One other thing I have noticed in your videos, a sweep attached to the bottom of your exterior door might help with your bugs, breezes and mice issues. I totally agree with buying DVDs and blurays!! I'll never get rid of my hard copies of movies/TV shows. I have 3 bookcases full but you just can't rely on streaming services to always have them.
Yeah, minor spoiler for a future video but Babylon 5 was pulled off Max even though they own it and it's only available on a service with ads. Thankfully this weekend I got the whole set and the movies for 20 bucks.

She semi-jokingly made a little comment about it, but she may have been more than just a little disturbed by it. A flashlight can help in dark rooms or conditions, but 💩 happens…

I bought something off of someone that had bought an item at an estate sale before it was a gameboy sp with a copy of of Pokemon silver and at the time the game was going for around $100 and the gameboy I think around $100 as well give or take anyway guy bought it for $10 and I followed him to his truck and ended up buying it for $50 lol

Love your videos. I've learned alot and getting ready to start selling on eBay. Just getting a small inventory going and all of the shipping supplied first. I'm sorry if I haven't seen it yet if you have one but a video showing your set up you use to video like go pro or head or body harness or mire than one camera at a time.

How do people make any money on eBay selling books/movies for $6-$7 FREE shipping? Shipping on media mail is now $4.13 Minimum plus eBay fees. I have been stumped on how they do this for a long time. Some even sell books for $3 free shipping. They’d be losing money.
I believe a lot of those people have a volume shipping deal. Even then, it's still a numbers game where they plan to sell so many for a small profit and hope it adds up enough to be worth it.

No, there's a fair amount of people not into it. I do try to limit it and sometimes even reduce the volume in editing though.
