Amen, sister!!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 As a newly turned sexagenarian, (oooh, love being someone sex-y” by title!! Ha, ha!😋) I appreciate mature women being the focus rather than the forgotten in the RUclips world. There are plenty of us, we are still avid consumers-and we haven’t lost interest in how we look or given up on taking care of ourselves. Bravo Natasha, for acknowledging this segment of the population and showcasing them in your tutorials. 👍🏼👏🏼🎉
OMG!!!! FINALLY a tutorial for a mature hooded eye from a master. I've been begging for someone to do this and I'm so happy it was you. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do more for us mature hooded (extreme) eyes because there's nothing out there for us by a professional. thank you so much for the tips and tricks, so helpful. We are a group that has been left out of many tutorials and I'd love to see other ways to create eye looks for my extremely hooded eyes. If you could please zoom the camera closer so we can see better on what exactly you are doing next time, that would be helpful. Mahalo!
I remember the time when women with heavy bottoms were doing lipo. Then came Jennifer Lopez and world changed. It is time to embrace hooded eyes! I love hooded eyes. Bravo Natasha! You heard us and delivered. Your model is beautiful. Thank you.
Me too! I have hooded eyes and I love hooded eyes too. I remember a Beauty Consultant at my Shoppers Drugmart called them “Peek-A-Boo” eyes. I love that. In the past we used to call them bedroom eyes ~ sultry eyes. I love that too! Lauren Bacall was the perfect model for those eyes! 😉🤗💕
@@FitChickGlows Blake Lively has those bedroom eyes type of hooded eyes. 😍 I used to hate my hooded eyes, but I have learned to except them and do makeup on them. Natasha is definitely one of the people, I look for tips from. Some artists put the shadow very high above the fold, creating a fake crease. I don't like that. Cause when I lift my brows, I look crazy 😅I try to focus closer to the lashline and the outer corner.
Such a beautiful model! Just perfect for this look. ♡ Thank you for the tip of tapping shadow onto the lid skin that moves..instead of the windshield wiper motion. Such simple suggestion..but it totally solved that problem for me.
Excellent. 👍👍 I have a newfound respect and more loyalty to ND Brand now. I have so much appreciation for this Masterclass. Kudos for having a different model - hooded eyes, mature. Thank you! ❣️🙏
It's great to see some a model that's not 20, for a change!! I have two concerns though: is it me or the cheek looks almost greyish? and also, OMG, the neck is soo pale against her face and arms, I wish I could use my brush and blend her foundation down her neck a little bit!! Other than that... OUTSTANDING WORK. I love your eyeshadows, Natasha!
LadyHelenHF Agree. I have the same problem with my neck. I have to bronze it, or take the foundation down my neck. I could never, ever match Foundation to my neck. Many makeup artists like to do that. Then my face looks 4 times lighter than my body. Not a good look, & frustrating to get a good match. I definitely need a shade 2 or 3 shades darker to match my face and body.
Actually the lower cheek does look somewhat greyish. That’s because they probably used contour and/or bronzer. I find there’s too much use of that these days and it makes the lower cheeks look too muddy and greyish for daytime. Not a good look for everyday. I feel that people should just use that technique for evenings out or on stage or taking pictures. For everyday, daytime looks it’s just too much and just comes off as muddy or grey in the light of day.
Its not the contour or bronzer pulling the gray cast, it's blending Highlighter into the contour or bronzer that creates that gray tone. To prevent that, the Bottom of the Highlighter blends into the Top of the Blush, and the Bottom of the Blush blends into the Top of the Contour or Bronzer. If there us No Blush, Same thing.. The Highlighter Cannot touch the Contour or Bronzer just leave that space open between the two.
I have seen compact duos of Highlighter and Bronzer together (elf cosmetics for example) and I never understood why a company would do that, because it gives the impression to consumers to use them both on top of eachother.. Highlighter works beautifully next to or on top of blush though! :) Regardless, this tutorial was amazing!!
Natasha Denona just seems so genuine and down to earth. It makes me so happy to be supporting someone so humble and nice!! I absolutely love your eyeshadows!! They work the best for my mature and hooded eyelids. I so wish you could do my make up!!! You’re the BEST!! 😊❤️
Thank you for listening to us requesting looks on mature model. Just gorgeous and inspiring I prefer these kind of tutorials real relatable looks like us regular folks that buy Ur palette
Fabulous mini master class! I’m always scared when I see Natasha go in first with the dark shade. 😬 But when she starts working the lighter shades you can see the brilliance behind her vision as a true makeup artist! Love this look❤️❤️
Here's a fun lil hack for you all; The deepest shade in this palette is perfect for doing eyebrows(for dark brown and black hair) It has the perfect undertone and depth
Omg finally! thank you. Please do this more often. I have left comments on your IG asking for this as I got sick to death of seeing young plump skinned big eyed women who I do not resemble being used as your models. I got wrinkly hooded eyes and they need some help!!!
Thank you for using a stunning mature model with hooded eyes, may there be many more tutorials like this! I have so many of your palettes and will be adding the glam palette to them. Women in their 50's are largely forgotton despite their spending power, yet we need the most guidance. Your eyeshadows are simply the best in the market place...
I have VERY deep set small eyes, the most flattering thing for me is to surround the eye with a mid toned shade, my bones create the light & shade! I’d love to see what a make up artist would do because I’ve rarely seen my eyes in Makeup tutorials!!
Love that you’re teaching her as well, please do more like this where you’re teaching and giving feedback!!! It helps a ton and really makes the video stand out
The model has blown me away, she is so elegant and beautiful 😍, but who ever did her foundation really needed to blend it down the neck! I learned quite a lot with this one, especially because the model used was not a 20/30 year old and she had real hooded eyes.
"Oh! Thank you, Jesus! I thought it was just me? BUT Seriously? World-renowned MUA and they both have OMPA LOOMPA issues and don't even ask about the neck on that Beautiful Model. As a MU enthusiast, I admit things like this kinda freak me out? You are recommending MU for me but can't see the flaws in the setup of your video? Amazing video! So great to use more mature models, more brands should do this. She is so beautiful! I also have hooded eyes and this was so helpful. I've learned a lot.
I love how you teach us! And this was great!!! Beautiful look and it’s great to see how a non-makeup artist follows the steps. Of course with the most BELLA BELLA palette. 💗💗
Love how Natasha gives the customers/followers what we’ve asked for, it’s evident in her tutorials and products. We’ve been begging brands for both cool/neutral tones and mature models. I also appreciate how interactive she is, I always see her replying to comments on insta :)
The model is STUNNING!! 😍😍 I have always said, that when I get older/grey, I refuse to cut my hair short or dye it. This just made me even more convinced, that its the right decision for me. Natasha, you're just the best! ❤️❤️
I use this palette today for the first time and i love it. Reminds me so much of Naked 2 palette but way better. I have never been so excited in a palette for awhile now except for this. I know that there’s people who complain about the naming choices but this is actually very helpful for beginners who doesn’t know where to place the colors/shade. The suggestion is a cool idea but ofcourse you dont have to follow it. I just dont get the fuss about it. Great palette 👍🏻
Omg. THANK YOU. And honestly thank you for including this model. She is absolutely stunning. Not for her age. In general. She is gorgeous. I'm 34 but I'd give anything to look like her now lol. Hooded eyes are gorgeous and don't need perfecting. They need emphasis. And embracing your age isn't embarrassing. God I wish Natasha was my mom. Shes so amazing at her craft and she is such a gentle teacher. I'm just so glad you exist.
i only have one ND palette (bronze). this glam will be my second. so pretty! i LOVE this style of packaging - so simple and sleek. i sometimes find myself just opening and closing my bronze palette because it feels so satisfying in the hands, lol. and kudos for using a model over 50, with her beautiful grey hair, unapologetically fierce.
Love, love, love this! Thank you!!! 🙏🏽💗 I am fifty years old and love my GLAM palette! 💗 These tips are amazing! The look came out gorgeous. And it’s so simple! Also, your model is stunning! I LOVE that she has gray hair! 👩🏼🦳 #silversisters
Thank you for embracing a mature model with hooded eyes. (It's wonderful that you incorporate all skin tones, all looks, all ages!) Interesting points on application onto the hood, using a deeper center lid color, etc. A beautiful look on a beautiful woman!
FINALLY! Found a video from a great brand. I have never found a good tutorial for age 50+ women with hooded eyes. Thank you for tip of using a tapping method instead of a blending method for loose skin eyelids. This is a game changer for me! Thank you!❤
I love this video, more videos like this one. I like the fact that she is not a professional model she looks so natural and normal like all of us. She is showing her real facial features without filters. Also Natasha is showing jemer how todo her makeup with patients and gives her a complement every time she follow her. I am not a pro whenI do makeup And this video shows all of that we are all capable of learning. I love ND.
I really, really enjoyed this tutorial. I have the Glam palette and I can’t wait to follow along with Natasha to recreate this look. I also have hooded eyes and am 53, so this is perfect for me. Thank you! And the model is gorgeous!
Thanks so much for doing this tutorial🤗 I'm 43 n I love eyeshadow but it's so hard to pull off any look besides just a neutral all over matte shade bc of my wrinkles n hooded eyelids. I want this pallete so bad bc I adore cool tones but it's going to have to wait for maybe a Xmas gift hopefully🙏🏻 lol. Model is absolutely gorgeous 😍❤️😷✌🏼️💄
Hats off to Natasha! Makeup should be approachable to everyone and I love she shows us how her products can be used on mature, hooded eyelids. I am saving up to get my first ND palette, but I think it will be worth it. The model is gorgeous btw!
Love that there is finally a tutorial on someone more mature. Model is absolutely gorgeous and it’s refreshing to see makeup on someone with mature eyes. Can’t wait to show this to my mom so hopefully she can try a different technique. Hope to see more of these in the future. Thank u !
Thanks for this! This was really helpful! I also love that the model was more realistic ( not instagram)! Very beautiful but realistic! Please do more of these!☺️
2:15 I’ve tried doing that with my eyebrows relaxed but I always thought the line was waaay too long and thought I was doing the wing wrong. Thank you Natasha 💕👱🏼♀️
I love this video I’m 27 I have really hooded eyes and some shadows crease easily! Also I love how the model did one eye herself also shows the purpose of why the shades were named as they are! Love it
I loved this Master Class!! And love that you used a BEAUTIFUL mature woman AND with hooded lids too! I also really enjoyed that you made it interactive with Rachel. It helps to imprint when they can actively participate in the lesson. Awesome! 😘🙌💕🤗🙌💕🌟💥🌟💥
When I thought I couldn’t love Natasha more!!! Thank you on behalf of the silver sisters!!!! I have silver hair and I LOVE the Glam palette, I love all your palettes but this is my favourite ever!! Xx
As if I needed more reasons to purchase your products. Cheers to not only giving instructions but using a mature woman that looks amazing! You both did a great job!
I feel us fortysomethings are an age group often neglected (not young or old enough). This was very helpful and jnspires me to purchase the pallet. Thank you!
Beautiful look, and a beautiful model ❤ Natasha, this was a lovely concept for a video. Very informative. I have never heard or seen a hooded eye tutorial using the same techniques, and I look forward to trying them myself! Thank you!
Ms. Denona your eyes are gorgeous with these grey tones and the grey top!!! 🤍🔥 Completely off topic, sidenote* You remind me of my German birth mother Gruten Matthews, when she was younger. So beautiful 😍
This was incredibly helpful to me! I always had tons of eyelid space and now at 58 years old I do not and it has really changed how I feel about doing makeup which is very sad! Also, the model is positively stunning! Her hair and hair color are absolute GOALS!!😍
Great great tutorial for a true hooded eye. I love these beautiful mid sized palettes..small enough to be workable but large enough for great shade choices....
A tutorial I’ve been waiting for. An olive skinned mature woman with heavy hooded eyes. That’s what I am. This tutorial is the best I’ve watched. I agree with another comment below...can we have the camera filming a little closer. More tutorials on heavy hooded mature eyes on darker skin please Natasha.
Great how you demonstrate that your products works so well to everyone no matter the age. I have oily skin and lid so eyeshadows don’t last on me... but your eyeshadows looks better even hours later. Thank u!
Thank you for this excellent instructional video, Natasha! Rachel is strikingly gorgeous and her hair, as another poster stated, is glorious! Headed to Sephora to purchase the palette now as I hesitated buying it because of my hooded eyes. This helped immensely!
I literally just purchased a ton of natasha denona eyeshadows: the mini- nude & star (the nude I received already, tested and loved) the star is on its way.... I got the peak palette in a boxy, my first denona try- made me fall in love ♥️ I got the $65.00 sunrise & glam as well. The sunrise came a few days ago- I've tried it once so far- I loved it as far as that one look went; I also wore that look to have my hair done at Ulta, and got 3 compliments on my shadows- I'm hoping that's holds true for any other looks I create in the future!! Like the mini star, my glam palette won't be here for a few days-- I have tried to order it on the sephora website AND the actual ND website, however it was always ad out until yesterday, I had to buy it from the brand site though because I wasn't sure sephora would have a restock as well💄 I would love to hear the thoughts of other people who have used one or all of what I listed just to see if the quality is good as many people say its hi or miss because I'm not seasoned in judging eyeshadow yet!! Btw this is my boyfriend's account didn't realize until just now 🤣 thanks in advance 💜
Yes !!! We need more tutorials for mature eyes !! Thank you !!
That model's hair is GLORIOUS!
Perfectly described!!
I thought the same ❤ what a pretty hair...oh my gosh❣and Denona...what can I say?...I just adore you 😗😗
Glorious hair and cheekbones. She is absolutely stunning.
HAIR GOALS
🙌🏽Was thinking the exact same thing. I cannot stop staring at her hair! She’s incredibly beautiful. 😍

LOVE LOVE LOVE the glam palette! I bought it the first day it dropped!!
Love the new layout of the palettes Natasha ❤️
Gorgeous 😍
Great great tutorial for a true hooded eye. I love these beautiful mid sized palettes..small enough to be workable but large enough for great shade choices....
This step by step approach was amazing!!!!
Cool🎉. Thank you. I cannot wait until I will buy some of your pallet. ❤
You're my one of favourite makeup artist. I love your tutorials, beacuse these helped me in science. I'm studying HNC Fashion Makeup ❤❤❤❤❤❤
That model is stunning!
Amazing tutorial! And your model is perfect!
Great video! Thank you both beautiful ladies.
Great how you demonstrate that your products works so well to everyone no matter the age. I have oily skin and lid so eyeshadows don’t last on me... but your eyeshadows looks better even hours later. Thank u!
Eyeshadow primers are great to make eyeshadow last on oily lids!
That model is absolutely stunning
Thank you for this!! What a beautiful model!!
Thank you for this excellent instructional video, Natasha! Rachel is strikingly gorgeous and her hair, as another poster stated, is glorious! Headed to Sephora to purchase the palette now as I hesitated buying it because of my hooded eyes. This helped immensely!
I’m going to give this palette to my Mom for her birthday. 😍
I absolutely loved this video. It’s perfect for those who are just learning to apply eyeshadow.
A real hooded eye! Im Notdic and most of us have very hooded eyes. This helped . I will try the exact technique. Thank you 😊
