You put words to something I knew but didn't now how to explain. This song is one of my favorite Pentatonix songs. As I'm typing the word "favorite", BOOM, ten more pop into my head lol. That always happens, right.
As I listen to this and watch the video, it comes to me again how not only do they sing like angels, they are also acting the parts that they are singing. So many singers sing their songs with no feelings, these guys sing with their hearts on their sleeves. And that makes it all the more beautiful.
Great reaction to this awesome Pentatonix video. This song is part of their "At Home" EP that they made and released in 2020 during the first few months of the pandemic. They each acquired and set up equipment to record audio and video in their own respective homes and did the recordings themselves, then the engineers worked their magic.
For all the Mitch slaps I've enjoyed on those high notes, what really gives me chills is Mitch in his lower register. (Cross ref this one with "I Can't Stop Falling in Love.")
I love this song, there is no beat boxing, they are all singing or humming. It's beautiful to listen to. There are a bunch of other songs like this also.
Such a true statement. What they do just does not make sense. I think they defy the laws of reality and physics. The likely hood of them even existing boggles the mind. Here is a comment I post often..... The chances of this group coming together was so infinitesimally small that only the powers that be in the universe could have made it happen. I’m glad they decided to do that to allow us mere mortals to have something to brighten our days. Three kids meet as children (CHILDREN) who love to sing and decide to keep singing together in school and local theater. As a side note, can you imagine trying to keep those three reigned in in high school choir? Scott, Mitch and Kirstie say that she did help them learn to blend better. They become life-long friends. Scott befriends Ben Bram who helps Scott get on The Sing Off. Ben introduces Scott to Avi. Scott talks Kevin into giving up med school at Yale and joining four strangers to compete on The Sing Off. They actually win the show. Sony drops them so they decide to start building their Pentaholic following on You Tube. Viral videos, and great music follows, and they get resigned to Sony. Avi decides to leave the group and they find another great bass in Matt. While Matt is not Avi, he is still excellent and I think he blends even better with the other members of PTX. If anything happens differently along that path Pentatonix does not exist, and the world is a lesser place.
Bloopers are only on superfruit videos. Not on ptx videos. You are right. They are so consistent no matter what. I would love for you to watch the introduction to Matt Sallee. I think you would love it. Also shallows a great one if you haven't done it yet. Thanks for your reactions. It's wonderful how much you truly appreciate them
Between the live, studio, solo stuff and collaborations, there are hundreds of PTX related videos on YT. So I would not worry about running out of material. With Kirsten off on maternity leave, there may not be much new PTX stuff this year, but I expect that the other members will be doing solo stuff and collaborations
Never underestimate Pentatonix. They do things very far in advance that nobody even knows about. Pre recording and unexpected releases are what they do. They know how to stay relevant and keep their content going. They're still pumping out tic tok videos and I guarantee there's going to be a few surprises on the way. Also they have a concert this year in September ( after the baby). 🙏🏾❤️😊
Great reaction! And here's the recent quote from Scott Hoying's radio interview: 'We definitely have a 10 year plan...we feel like we're getting started. We're going to go bolder. We're going to go bigger. We're going to tour a lot. We're going to take everything on a next level'.
Hello D. Love your reaction as always. PTX is just great every single time. This one is just so beautiful and they sing with such conviction - touches you so deeply.
I forgot to say they had a meeting on their 10 year anniversary and all agreed that they wanted to go for at least 10 more years. I thought that might make you happy. It thrilled me!
Don’t worry about running out of PTX videos. Besides the ones on their channel their are hundreds posted all over RUclips from tv appearances, shows and the like. You definitely have a long way to still go.
Thank you for another wonderful reaction! This is so beautiful, kinda fragile but deep and emotional.. I hope they won't stop making music and I hope you won't stop reacting to them..
Thank you as usually for your ptx reviews love this song and your my favorite channel to listen to. Please check out Little Space feat Ateez it’s amazing thanks again for your love of PTX
"Just listen and enjoy..." Perfect.
After Hallelujah I took to declaring: "Pentatonix, even humming better than 99.9% of people can sing"
I think we ALL did 🥰
The beauty of their voices is unmatched in today's modern music.
D I LOVE your reactions to PTX......they blow your mind ever.....dang.....time!!!
I'm not sure there's been another band or singer who's been able to make me tear up or cry this much. In my life.
Oh gosh! ME TOO!!!
You put words to something I knew but didn't now how to explain. This song is one of my favorite Pentatonix songs. As I'm typing the word "favorite", BOOM, ten more pop into my head lol. That always happens, right.
I totally agree: they can never stop!

They are magical together.❤

One of my favorites
🌟PENTATONIX are INCREDIBLE! TOP NOTCH! Everything they produce is. PURE EXCELLENCE!🌟
Every time I listen to it Matt's little part is killing me.
100% - He sounds so good!
Stunning. The vocals, the emotion. Exactly, just let it soak in and wash over you.
Music needs more PTX and so do I. Always.
Whenever I see anything from this ep, I am amazed what they did during the pandemic lockdown!
For all the Mitch slaps I've enjoyed on those high notes, what really gives me chills is Mitch in his lower register. (Cross ref this one with "I Can't Stop Falling in Love.")
Hi. Couple of requests for upcoming reactions. La La Latch, Shallow and Havana. Thank you.
I love their version of this song, not so much the original. Great reaction 😎
I love this song, there is no beat boxing, they are all singing or humming. It's beautiful to listen to. There are a bunch of other songs like this also.
Can't even count the number of times I listened to this when it first came out.
Do beautiful.

Anyone else hearing a loud hum like a motor running throughout?
That was Matt's baseline
One of my favorite PTX covers...M A G I C

Just to clarify... 10 year plan, not 10 year old plan 😉 A 10 year plan is a business thing... a 10 year old plan would be, well, sad 😁
@@perfectkismet Yeah, thanks grammar police. :D I was in a hurry, and English is my 4th language.
Pure Magic!! The emotion they convey through this is just incredible!! Agreed, no retirement lol. Were any of them born in Roswell NM? 👀...👽👽👽👽👽
Hello D. Love your reaction as always. PTX is just great every single time. This one is just so beautiful and they sing with such conviction - touches you so deeply.
Thanks for doing this. There are so many AWESOME PTX tracks that don't get nearly enough play.
I like this song. I never heard of it before. They did a great job with the Star Wars theme.
Theyre incredible!! Love them! Thanks for your reactions
♥ So moving.
This is the song that got me into watching reaction videos ✌🏻
I forgot to say they had a meeting on their 10 year anniversary and all agreed that they wanted to go for at least 10 more years. I thought that might make you happy. It thrilled me!

🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Always an upgrade...
Always amazing
Recommend their cover of Havana.
You liked their humming. For a great song of theirs without words is their audio track of Waltz Of The Flowers.
One of my faves!! 😍
Stunning ❤️🙌🙌
They arranged all of the songs off the at home EP over zoom. Amazing huh? During lockdown. I was typing this as you paused it about the arrangement
Yay!!! About to start it
Love this song!
BEAUTIFUL!! 💕💕
